I would purchase and recommend it if you had a horizontal configuration. I hope it is on your MGPP; otherwise, I see it as a vast market miss if it is not.
Finally!!!!, I assume this means north American distributors can now order these?? Our distributor (Virginia tile - Michigan) told me they couldn't about a month ago but I see they are now listed in their dealer portal.
So when we install these niches horizontally with the LEDs running vertically, what is the recommended method for sealing the joint between the niche shelf and the LED itself? I know the LED is designed to be removable, but on a horizontal installation, there is a gap that would exist where water could perpetually come into exposure with the membrane. My thought is that a clear silicone bead would be minimally intrusive to aesthetic and still be easily removed with skillful blade work. Thoughts or recommendations from Schluter would be appreciated!
Is the LED profile premade to that size? Most applications, (at least for my requests) the niche is installed horizontally. Would love to know if a 28” LED profile will be available
No horizontal version? Seems like a no brainer......

Hi Andrew! Thanks for the feedback. We will pass it along our R&D team!

Yes! 🍊 These are available now and rolling out to distributors across North America.
I'd like to see the shelf with a light also 🤔 definitely adjustable
Thanks for your feedback Corey!
Does this mean we can expect more of the LIPROTEC catalogue to roll out in the US soon?
Hi there! No plans for now as we just launched our first LIPROTEC product, but if that's the case, you will get the scoop here!

Hi Kyle, these -SNLT lighted shower niches are designed for vertical installation only.
can I customize it to make the LED horizontal? Seems like that's how most people use it.
No, the KERDI-BOARD-SNLT is designed to be installed vertically.

Hello! Yes, the LED strip is premade for the niche, and for now, the niche is designed to be installed vertically. I hope that helps!
