Pretty collection....a timely revival of pinstripes. Was I bowled over? No. I don't know if its his aesthetic or my perception, but this just wasn't a Paris collection to me. I think Altuzarra was such a treasure at NYFW and his label isn't enhanced by the city of lights. Against the backdrop of Dries Van Noten, Louis Vuitton, McQueen, Balenciaga, Givenchy....Altuzarra looks a little to pragmatic and a little too tame. I realize that he is French, but he has such an American sensibility to his point of view, with just a dash of Parisienne chic. It worked so well in NY (and would have killed it in NY), it only passes here. That being said, some really beautiful proportions, chic prints, classy palette, etherial movement in some of those dresses. Again...pretty.

Sleepy music ! the collection no Wow ... so so ...
Anna resorted to checking her emails .... not surprising really. The jewellery was good, but the clothing was uneventful and I yearned for a change of music at several points.

Grace and Anna couldn't care less about this iconic show. Why tho?
