Anyone can access Shelley Point Hotel, you could have entered - they just ask for your license and scan your disc. It is gorgeous, there are two restaurants including a Cattle Baron, and local more informal restaurant called Dorothea's inside the hotel, with outside seating around a great Koi pond overlooking the golf course and ocean.

Today I will just drive up and ask, back then I was still a little on the shy side to ask permission to film. 🤣 We'll most definitely visit this area again, my wife now just wants to go and sit at the Koi pond. There is a very nice caravan park in Stompneusbaai called Midwest Caravan park. Stompneusbaai brings back memories again of many moons ago of the redhead girl...1969 it was...December holidays with the family...and the redhead.....ok I will leave it at that.
