Excellent work....Please make on video on wet on wet technique....Thanks for sharing...
i mostly paint as layers wet on dry and blend the edges with clean damp brush. i find it easier to control. but i work wet on wet on small areas . i will make video for different techniques on different types of paper soon.

I watch other portrait painters but come back to watching your tutorials. I'm not a fan of broken color loose painting, and my biggest objection to all the others is that their subjects are too orange (often contrasted with ultramarine blue). I really don't like this palette. I'm guessing this is what they were taught in art school because it seems they all do it. I'm trying to study your method so I don't have to paint either broken color or orange people. Thank you so much for your tutorials. They mean a lot. 😊
I always choose the reference that does not contain strong shadow areas on the face so i dont have to do strong contrast on the portrait. btw I really love loose painting and when I try to draw loosly I always find myself going back to my style . I'm so glad you liked my painting style. I really appreciate your words
