Guide me, O My Great Redeemer

- The day before churches were shut down in Sydney, we very quickly recorded, with a very reduced and socially-distanced St Andrew's Cathedral Choir, several well-known hymns and psalms. We hope to share more shortly. We hope that you find them all useful in this difficult time when churches are unable to meet. Please feel free to share this or incorporate it in your online act of worship. There is no copyright due, if you use it for your online services during this time. If we can help your scattered congregation, then we are really grateful.

Why must ye change the words!
Just be grateful these wonderful, committed young people are praising God with His God given talents, utilisng such wonderful leadership of Ross Cobb.
Guide me O thou great Jehovah. No need to change it as it was originally written 💔💔💔
@@brucejudithjohn7286 Don't patronise us! I was as young as this lad when the clergy started "modernising" church services in my name - it was done "for the youth". We did not WANT it.
Yes, it is true, I am nearing old age now. That was some forty years ago. And in all this time I have watched tradition get pushed aside. Now I am just "old". OK. I get that.
But I'll tell thee. The young are perfectly able to understand the older, poetic language, and there is no need to change it. It is richer and better.
@@evconprim4639 I do so agree with thee!
