I have a es4; use it to travel around Singapore with a seat. Front wheel is a weakness, tire threads is wearing out fast, I have to thread it when it wears out. Changing the front tire is costly at 120 dollars in Singapore. Adding a seat makes traveling more comfortable. Great for tight paths and narrow corners, that larger scooters will have problems on.

quick question: as a 13 year old, I ,however, find this product very interesting and want to purchase it. However, I think that there is an age requirement of a permit, which I am not yet eligible for. Do you think I could possibly ride the scooter in like empty parking lots and areas like that? I weight 120 and am 5'6.

david diaz after looking at the newest version of this scooter, I would still get this model because of how easy it is to fold and carry on the train or bus. That is still perfect for my situation. Maintenance is just using some WD40 on the shock every couple of weeks. I have not tried to re-grove the front tire yet, but I will be doing that before I try to change it out! I hope this helps and please subscribe to our channel if you haven’t yet. • @GCasey

Saves a lot of battery by having to manually push it to get started, as opposed to scooters that will accelerate from a dead stop. I bought the Max and am 53 yrs. it’s perfect for my needs too. The industry spends a lot to market bigger, better and faster scooters (dual motors, 30-40+mph. Chasing those will cost a fortune.
12-18 mph is perfect, and safe for a scooter. It is done with one motor which saves money too. If you’re looking for more speed a person should consider a Vespa (150-200cc) or motorcycle, but if all you need is a scooter this is the best IMO.

Solid tires/tyres will vibrate more, and more vibration will loosen screws. I'm interested in one of these but the solids make me wary, since I've used hand trucks with solid and inflatables. They are a world of difference. I know about the flats with inflatables, but I was wondering if there are aftermarket tires with flat resistant layers built-in (my bicycle tires are like that). Can front and rear tires be rotated? I'm 200lbs and could see myself wearing tires out fast. New York roads suck so bad

Thanks for the great review, I live in Ireland and it seemingly rains non-stop. How can they design an undersized rear mudguard then?. Is this Escooter only designed to be ridden in the Sahara Desert? I now for one will not be interested in this model, cannot imagine racing about the damp or wet streets of Dublin with a muddy streak all down my back. Also, the exposed rear undercarriage suspension will as you say require constant maintenance. Guess in this day of I.T. there are many idiots out there that will buy anything online without even seeing it, let alone test driving it!!. All the manufacturers need do then, to defend themselves is have a highly aggressive Customer Relations/After Sales Service to fob the meek and foolish off. WHF!!

My es4 has a sealed rear suspension! It's a big battery de branded lime. Heavier duty motor and extra battery all for 400 bucks! I can tell from my dad's es4 it has a lot more punch off the line and the only down side is it doesn't fold up...😔 Also since I don't have an apple phone only Android I can't turn underneath lights on either.

The Ninebot Max and many other models involves changing tire tubes. So fare the Ninebot ES4 Electric Scooter has been the best scooter I’ve owned.
