Before we go to see the New Dr Strange, we have finished up WandaVision so we knew it would be great to check out the First Dr Strange Film! This film definitely sticks out from the other MCU movies and if Multiverse of Madness is great then Dr Strange is on pace to have the best Marvel Trilogy. This movie shows us who Strange was before becoming the Mystic Arts Hero. Being a Surgeon and getting in a car accident that injured his hands to the point of him not being able to work, going through a life changing event he finds his way to The ancient one her helping Steven realize there is much more to life other than himself. I think this is great film and even a good Stand Alone film.

His name is Chitiwel Ejifor he is amazing but Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange is a supremely talented actor he plays the villain Khan in Star Trek into Darkness he was Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick was Martin Freeman who played agent Ross in Black Panther and the Sorceress Supreme is played by the amazing Tilda Swinton proud to say they are all British actors xx

Benedict Cumberbatch's idea was to perform motion capture for Dormammu, as he felt that the character should be an evil reflection of Doctor Strange. Benedict Cumberbatch was only credited for portraying DoctorStrange in the film. Benedict Cumberbatch was only credited for portraying Doctor Strange in the film. The fact that he also portrayed Dormammu was revealed by Scott Derrickson in an interview with IGN. Cumberbatch's voice was blended with another actor's, to make it harder to tell it was him. The director said he was unable to recall who the other actor was, only that he was also British.

"Now he wanna bargain." Yep, he didn't want to at first, because to him, Strange lacked a bargaining chip. And then when Strange showed said chip, he tried torturing Strange into surrendering it, but even after no doubt countless deaths (They didn't have the screen time for all of them, lol.), Strange was still going strong, even referring to Dormammu as a prisoner, and that was when Dormammu realized he wasn't getting out of it until Strange released him, hence the freak out and sudden willingness to bargain.

The depiction of surgeons being arrogant and fairly egotistic is known to be true. It's called a "God complex" and spending most of your time healing people and saving their lives (and being successful at it) will give you ideas.
It's the light/Jedi side to the dark/Sith side of serial killers, if you think about it. Having control over life and death is heady stuff. It's very Greek. Check out the mythology of Asclepius some time.

Actually I met him in the 1995 spiderman series, so yes he is not well known, that series felt a little like an avengers archetype, many marvel characters appeared, Morbius, Blade, the x men, punisher, iron man, captain america the fantastic 4, Dr Doom and more
