    My nutribullet 900 recently gave out after several years. It served me well, but it was time to move on. i just purchased the 1200 watt blender and am waiting for delivery. Thank you for the video, it reassures me that I made the right purchase.😁

    Hello and thank you very much for the effort! We are using the Pro for our handycaped son, because he can not chewing and its too loud! But the ultra is loud as well:/ Maybe the Ninja Foodi is less laud?

      Thank you for the comment! Haven’t yet tried the Ninja Foodie but maybe some one else can comment. I’ve also looked at a sound dampening hood for the blender because this one is still too loud. Here is one example but I haven’t tried it yet www.whisperblend.com

    I enjoyed your review! I just got this blender today. I was hoping the "Ultra Quiet" statement would hold true, but man.. It's definitely not. I made the mistake of starting it up at night while my wife & kids were asleep. They sleep at 8:30 & I wanted an avocado banana milkshake. I turn it on & boy was I QUICK to turn it off! I still had some ice left so I had to give it another few seconds to blend the rest. Thankfully, it surprisingly blended everything in under 10 seconds. 1st pulse was 4-5 seconds & same with the 2nd pulse. I know this is a blender, but dang.. It's definitely not quiet like it states & definitely do not recommend using at night. Otherwise, very happy with the end result. Hope to see other reviews!

      Thank you for the comment! Excellent point about the speed at which it blends, I agree it’s much faster than the predecessor. Completely relate to your comment about waking people up because it is loud. I have an outlet on the back porch and sometimes I go out there to blend. Ironically similar to when people used to go out to have a smoke except this is totally healthy!

    Does it have a rubber gasket ?

    • @puttothetest
      @puttothetest  8 месяцев назад +2

      If it does it is not easily removable like the old model. It’s a deeper channel and I can’t access it. Hope that helps!

    I have ordered the Ultra and waiting on it to come in. What are your thoughts on the gasket on the Ultra? Remove and clean periodically?

    • @puttothetest
      @puttothetest  10 месяцев назад +2

      Awesome! Hope you enjoy using it! I’m going to have to see how it goes with mine before cleaning the gasket. I’m super cautious about those new blades - very hesitant to get in under those new blades to remove it. But if it looks like it’s getting really mucked up, then I will have to see if there is a safe way to get it out and clean it.

      The rubber gaskets are not removable, they come manufacturing assembled, and this is for ALL the nb blenders

    It's a great blender, for sure. But I just can't get over why they've NEVER made a glass cup for the Nutribullet line. What's the purpose of 3 plastic cups and NONE made ou of glass for hot stuff. Wouldn't kill'em...

    Great review! Wouldn't the sharper blades be a PLUS? Quicker blending of the ingredients and potentially less oxidative damage?

    • @puttothetest
      @puttothetest  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks! Yeah it’s better for blending just would like it if it was easier to clean or had a kind of cleaning routine I could blend the blades in. I’m fairly clumsy so the sharpness just means I need to really be careful and not rush when cleaning. What is oxidative damage?

    How loud is the blender? Since I am very sensitive it is a crucial issue for me

    • @puttothetest
      @puttothetest  6 месяцев назад

      It is loud, I bought this model hoping it was quieter but is in the same ballpark as a regular blender. We have a family member with noise sensory issues and it’s too loud for her.

      @rodher5624 yeah I looked also at those noise reducing hoods you can put over the blender but they look pretty pricey

    • @puttothetest
      @puttothetest  6 месяцев назад +1

      @rodher5624 the sound reducing hoods for the blenders look like this but you can get them from a lot of different suppliers www.whisperblend.com

    Thanks for this I drew my own conclusions, but I'll tell you my issues with your video. You keep going on and on about the blades. As a product that is used to CHOP THINGS INTO TINY TINY BITS it's an absolute plus. The fact that you are afraid of sharp blades, essentially knives, at your age and constantly moan about the fact that blades that need to be sharp are sharp is ridiculous. Next, the noise. You compare it to a dishwasher. (and then you compare it to a dryer... like... what?) compare it to other similar sized blenders, it's a BLENDER it WILL be noisy. A dishwashers rotating motor is far far slower than this, (and larger) not to mention the different enclosure of course it will produce a different much lower noise. Your previous model wasn't the ultra it was a different model. Buy the same type of model and wow magic the container will fit. It's not like that model is discontinued. You bought a DIFFERENT model. Built differently. Of course the accessories are going to be different.
