Gene Key 1 is a cornerstone Gene Key, as it is in the i-ching. It the shadow of entropy - decay & collapsing in on oneself into depression...and the joy that can spring from that in a fresh aliveness.
We are in this energy now. If you can allow for the natural ebb of emotion that happens, it can make one feel depressed, when what they really need is deep rest to allow the lows to just BE, and to know that this rest period is really a percolation period for creativity to birth itself into freshness of expression.
I talk about this Siddhi of beauty and people I know who have it, and of course, we drum the 6 lines of the gene key in a drumming and chanting meditation.

grabbed a few videos about this and you came up right after Richard's lesson1. Just a heads up about clinical depression and anxiety. Ruminating is something one can end up doing in these states of mind and it can become what feels like impossible to stop and that leads to feeling out of control and scared. Ruminating does not cause depression but it can intensify anxiety. Thanks for your contribution.
Thank you for the clarification! I recall in studied with UCLA that they said there is a link between ruminating and depression. Maybe it's not clinical, but more causing ourselves to feel bad through our thinking. I appreciate your thoughtful and important comment!
I love the drumming your gene keys part. Loved that Deep Rest alternative. GK 1 and 2 have been in my field for contemplation for a few months now recommended by a session I had with Amma Li Grace. Definitely have been feeling the entropy. Appreciated your take and glad this came up on my feed.

Nicely done. however the depression analogy is not quite correct. When you're de-pressed that does not mean you're in deep rest but you are not pressed anymore. So it can be a deeply freeing experience because something has pressed you very much. The De-pression is energy's way to tell you to lay low and let that go away.
BUT: please don't get depression wrong! This video suggests that with a nap and some quiet time this depression will go away. If you are really suffering from a clinical depression you need someone to GUIDE YOU THROUGH THIS PROCESS! Your mind/brain is locked in this state and you cannot get over it alone. There is a difference between some melancholy and numbness or a depression!
I agree and someone else also clarified this - there ARE levels to depression! Maybe it's like saying the word love now - I don't love my kids like I love my cat! I appreciate the thoughtful and important comment.
