A testament to purity in motorcycles from the finest era. We need this now more than ever. The world is falling apart all around us and we need a renaissance in every aspect of our culture. This motorcycle is a sort of torch lighting the way back. Just beautiful.
oh shut up.. what a pretentious load of nonsense. restomodding "latemodel" stuff had been all the rage for years now... this bike isn't special at all and it doesn't even look that great, as restomods go. ...many, many things, both mechanically and aesthetically, are not cutting edge or state of the art for restomodding. there are way better examples... if you want to see how this is actually done... check out DB Customs. one of the leaders in this area.
its a pretty bike and the more the better. but these bikes should stay in the hands of bike builders and not manufacturers. we're not going to get a renaissance from nostalgia wrapped up in a rip-top can. just because there's not a lot of inspiration in new designs doesn't mean they should sell you old shit
@@seanbirtwistle649 It is not the lack of inspiration that is the problem, it is the lack of connection with the machine. Way too much techno wizardry on modern bikes. If you buy a bike today because it has a modern TFT screen, a criteria for many new riders, you have lost the plot.

This looks absolutely great. I hope some of the manufacturers get inspired by customs like this and create more retro bikes, or at least offer liveries like this one on their modern bikes.
I've been saying for over a decade how all I want in my life is a modern bike with the 90's Japanese motorcycle aesthetic and I'm happy the industry is finally listening. I got to see the XSR900 GP up close here in Japan and I loved everything about it and seriously considering buying it. If the big four were to release a 400cc 4-cylinder in this 90s style, I will buy it in a heartbeat!!
I had a purple 93 GSXR 750 so I remember that in your face no bs vibe you got from these styles of artwork. Especially the GSXR logo on that 93 gixxer was something else.
I love that you gave him the chance to discuss this bike. I cam across his gram a month or so before he posted he was working with you. Just beautiful craftsmanship and I look forward to his future projects. Let's hope this pushes the production market in the right direction.
It is such a PERFECT example of what the 2 wheel world needs! Custom sportbikes that prove the capabilities of performance and design! #haxchmoto I commend you!
Fantastic interview guys, fantastic build. Mock gixxers all you want but I LOVE EM. I'd consider them the world's most well known sportbike aside from the Busa. Hell, even BMW bought a pile of them to form a baseline for the S1000RR. Timeless bike and this is a timeless design.
Yea I don't get the hate for them...see guys all the time saying the Gixxer 600 and 750 need updating....NO! No they do not, they are awesome and hopefully continue to be awesome. Very much miss my 97 Gixxy 600 in the team Suzuki blue and white, god that was a lovely bike. But if all goes well, a month from now I'll be on a 2024 Gixxy 750 🏁😎
you are right this is exactly what me and alot of other people want. retro sport bike with retro seats but modern reliability and decent power i have 3 old cbr600s and i love them but its alot of work to keep them going as they get old
Wow is not enough….that is one of the most gorgeous bikes I’ve seen in years….a GIxer with Tiger stripes…and a proper bare ally Harris inspired frame …. And the different colour wheels.., which it took me 5 mins to actually realise….100% Jizz machine 👍👌🇮🇲
That’s stunning I grew up on 90’s mx bikes loved the colours, dad had a few rare ones RGV250, ZX400, we built an GSXR slab side street fighter together loads of anodised parts Vance & Hines pipe he let me choose the paint / decals a candy red with fleck and neon decals still got pics and trophies it won at shows. Good days RIP dad x
That is stunning 👌 Love the elements colour and shape hints of urban tiger blade yzf rgv gsxr the fade on paint front to rear ❤️ starting to get a bellend sweat just looking at it .
Looks great, but doesn’t have mirrors, lights, rego plates etc, which is half the reason it looks so smooth. So as it stands, it’s either a track bike or display bike.
It looks absolutely fantastic, fair play to you. I've still got my Carl Fogarty polka dot/paint splatter leathers somewhere, which would just complete the look!. It will be good to see it on track. I wish that I had that in my garage.
Awesome looking bike, remember seeing it on insta before I came off it, maybe il see it at a bikes show one day and get some images of it taken and really do it justice of how stunning it is with its paint job.
I started riding in the early 90s. Back then bike magazines were full of GSXR 750 frames with a GSXR 1100 motor stuffed between the frame rails. This bike reminds me of that era.
Stunning!!!!! Soo jelly of this machine. Man he really knocked it out the park w the paintjob. Well done . Thank you for posting this video , it makes me all warm and fuzzy between my legs lol. I am in the process of doing a Kawasaki version with a 96'Zx7r w 2005 zx10 engine, she already has the 10 arm and full front end and wheels so the engine is next the Bespoke body work etc..thinking of using Muzzy Raptor front end and a tank setup like the 03/04 ZX-rr where the airbox is cut into the tank. Cheers fellas

The build is incredibly well done, it looks fantastic. I think we are coming to end of current design that people will be nostalgic for in the future. Retro / nostalgia usually starts around 20 years after something's first time around. Are people going to be nostalgic for bikes or design in general created today in 20 odd years time? I don't really think so. I say design because that's my background (graphic design) but as a longtime rider as well I see it in bikes too. It's been a while since the look of a modern bike that doesn't take influence from the past has excited me.

What’s not to like. After the XSR GP and this I’m excited to see what other manufacturers can muster up if they have the balls to break the current mould.
Great to see this ‘readers wives’, owners special content, since the magazines died theres a gap in the market both for the bikes and the video content ❤
Never have I seen a better fitting youtube video title. You guys are pure gold. I'm still eagerly waiting for a current superbike track shootout, on the other hand.. but I still love you
I have a 1989 FZR1000. When I first got it I only wanted to keep it period correct. Even found a period correct Vance&Hines exhaust. Now I want to replace the entire front end to have better forks and brakes but thats it. It is plenty fast enough and the stock paint does it for me.
Great looking bike, great work by Marc. next time you're filming a bike this special, it's worth finding a backdrop that doesn't camouflage the body of the subject bike. Cheers!

Just beautiful. As you said, this is absolutely what I'd love to be seeing for bikes. It looks so clean and well designed.
