Deku’s voice sounding like a “main character” is very fitting. He’s a very plain protagonist, and the fact that this is occasionally brought up within the series itself is what I love about it. Also, I wish All For One was in this.

I disagree and I tend to see this statement about a lot of main character English voice actors. When deku is fighting muscular and he says his little speech about what it takes to be a hero before his 100% smash Idc what u say it’s way better then the subbed. The subbed deku voice is to deep.
Aww damn I didn't get Ojiro either. Watched the first season in dub almost two years ago, the rest of the series in sub. The dub voices are fine honestly, the lines just sometimes sound way cooler in japanese in my opinion
All of the dub voice are perfectly cast. I love every characters voice. They all feel so natural. MHA is my favorite anime. Possibly my favorite show of all time

It's sometimes annoying when people say that Japanese voice acting is better than English voice acting. It's not, it's just different. I do understand why they think that though. When you are constantly hearing Japanese voices it sounds a bit weird to hear the English voices. It's the same way the other way around. I watch most anime dubbed and when I'm looking at clips from anime and the characters are speaking in Japanese I immediately click off the video, I can't listen to the Japanese voice of characters I know for their English voice. The strongest examples of this are Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia, Bleach, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
scary how i have never watched the dub but actually got all of them except ojiro cause i remember the dialogues with the exact scene and whoever said it.... wish i was this good in remembering my notes
Happy to say I got them all right, but Ojiro did stump me for a second😂. Honestly the biggest thing that helped me get them all right is I've watched season 1 through 5 so many times I know pretty much the entire script by memory😂🤣
I actually always thought Deku’s voice sounded identical to the sub. Then again all the voices match really well. You both did great though. Did you know Bakugous voice actor also plays Connie Springer in the dub of Aot? But the Aot dub is a curse and should never be watched.

I got a selfie with Christopher Sabat, Luci Christian and Justin Briner. I saw more voice actors but couldnt get their autographs.
i have to say this....I DON'T LIKE DUBS IN GENERAL, i don't watch dubs at all, BUT, i like midoriya's voice in the dub, mostly bc midoriya's voice in the sub the first season when i just started my hero...gave me a literal headache, don't judge me, i wasn't a fan of my hero at that time, i became a fan since season 2
