Great Piece Luie!
Thanks buddy👍
Howdy sir that came out really nice!
Thank you kindly
fun project, Luie! Nice.
I had fun making this thanks for watching and commenting
Nice project Luie. Though I gave up smoking cigars as a student (no money!). Possibly for the best anyway considering health. Could double up as a nut bowl? All the best. Ray
Good thing smoking is bad for your body
Only have one or two in the summer
Certain company and certain drinks
Looks great 👍 something different
Thanks buddy.
Glad you watched and commented 👍👍
Hi Luie... you made a great job with that Ash tray ... the design and finish were spot on... I'm not a cigar smoker but I do like the smell... don't get little Luie into smoking... having said that he would look good with a cigar...Haha... take care...All the best.....Andy
Thanks!
Little Luie keeps sneaking into my videos he is starting to get pushy 🤣
Perhaps I will make him a small table with ashtray and little cigar and a mug of beer 🤔🤔 while I'm at it maybe I can make a little "office" for him and promote him to supervisor
Nice project, Luie! Even a lifelong non-smoker like me can appreciate the beauty of this project! Nicely done, my friend. 👍👍👍
Thanks.
I'm not a smoker per say, I quit smoking cigarettes over 10 years ago and maybe once or twice in the summer I will have a cigar if the drinks and company is right.
Thanks for your support 👍
Amazing, great job 👏 ✨✨✨👍✨✨✨🥰
Thank you so much.
Really appreciate you stopping by and commenting on this 👍
Hope all is well
nice job, thanks for sharing..
Thanks for watching and commenting on this one 👍👍
Although neither of us smoke, we agree this is a very nice project! Well done, sir!
I will have a cigar maybe once or twice when I'm vacation, but I always find a home for these they move
Nice work,👍👍
Thanks buddy!
Awesome job like the steel incert
Thanks so much
Great project, I liked!
Thanks buddy👍
Some old boys are going to enjoy that for sure Luie ! You in that club too ? Thanks for sharing🙏 Stay safe. -Mike😷💉
Thanks.
I'm old and I will smoke one or two over the summer...not a steady smoker
I like it very much. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Nice project Luie, I did not notice till the end the knot on one end of the Walnut. That really adds to the look you were after. Guess I did not know there we Cigar Ash trays but this one makes sense.
I am wondering what the 2 while cylinder shaped objects with what looks like gages on them. Heaters? I guess I have been shopping for a new heater so that is on my mind.
Great project!
Gary
Thanks,
Not sure what you were looking at on the heaters...but there are fuel gauges on them and the white nobs are for controlling the wick height and there is a chrome fuel cap...hope that helps
Oh just re read the comments yes they are kerosene heaters
Ok that makes sense. I just found them online. Looks like it is just a wire basket to protect you from getting burned. Seems to be safe in an enclosed area.
Thanks
@@ThePapa1947 yeah i have been using this style for years works well and never had any issues
Pretty!
Thanks!
Something a little different and a great job Louie ! 👌👍
Cheers, Bram
Thanks buddy!
Your support and kind words are always appreciated 👍
perfect looking ashtray
Thank you so much👍
I enjoyed making this 😎
Thanks for sharing, nice project. Hope your weekend is going well. Full View and Like 👍
Thanks for your support and kind words 👍👍
This is a ash tray with real man's accents, Luie 👌 like from the man's club... armchairs, round table, whisky, blues on the background and cigars 🥃😎 (I missed part with ladies because wife's are reading 😉)
Very good job my friend 👍😀
Thanks!
That is exactly the look I was hoping for 👍😎🍻
Stopped smoking many years ago Luie but this does look smart
Thank you!
Glad to hear you gave it up.
Noticed the multiple heaters. I used to do that. Then I bought a propane wall heater. Similar to the hot dawg heaters. Gives you more floor space.
Yeah I know that they take up space.
But they really work well in my uninsulated shop.
I need the two on the really cold days
Beautiful job and nice content. New here and just pressed the big red word and rang the bell. Thank so much in advance 🎉🍾
Thank you!!! Your support is greatly appreciated.
I will try not to disappoint you 👍
Looks good luie
Hey Bruce!
Hope all is well
It’s very beautiful. You should get sponsored by jet or nova. They would do good to do that for you. I love all of your work Sir. Thank you for sharing and your time.
Yeah that would be awesome
I could use an upgraded lathe.
Thank you for your kind words
I like it a lot, Luie! I love walnut and this one is simple, yet sophisticated looking. Nice. 👍🏻
Thank you so much for your continued support.
I know there's a lot of videos to watch so I'm glad that you take the time to comment on my vids👍😎
Look awesome Luie, love the stainless steel snuffer!
Thanks for watching and commenting on this one 👍👍
Nice job, almost a shame to put ashes in it. I'm working on another one too. I'm using a slice of Willow with the bark still on.
It will be similar to the one I showed you a while ago but this time I'm recording the process.
The plan is to cast the aluminium inlay later today and finish the project somewhere this week.
Thanks and your project sounds awesome can't wait to see how it works out 👍👍
Not a smoker and not fond of being around a lit stick. But nice project anyway!
Thanks
I'm glad you don't smoke it's so bad for the body.
Take care and thanks for commenting
Great idea Luie can you tell me where did you get the metal snuff from?????????
I was a die setter working in metal stamping factories since I was 19 years old collected scrap over the years.
With that said if you contact a metal stamping company in your area I'm sure they can get you some scrap
thats really nice ash tray good project man
Thanks so much
Yeah that's beautiful good shine to it👍👍👍👍
Thanks pal 👍👍
Great work Luie, the wood is amazing.
Thanks I love black walnut
Really nice Luie! I made one for my brother, but I put cork in the middle to tap out the ash. Very nice!
They are fun and smokers love them👍😎
That's great man, real nice design! Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks so much!
Thanks for the kind words👍👍👍
Looks great Luie, love how the knot gives it added character.
Thanks! I like the way it came out👍😎
Very nice Luie. You would almost smoke for it 😏
No it's a bad habit!
Thanks for the comment
Never smoked let alone cigars but that is a great piece.
Thank you for your support and kind words 👍I'm glad u don't smoke
Very nice cigar holder Luie, as a non smoker I have no use for one but someone will certainly need it! I see you have some kerosene heaters in your shop, you must have some of that cold weather that hit the US last week! Thanks for the great video!
Cheers Al
Thanks and yes it has been very cold and snowy.
I think we have a decent week coming up
Thanks be safe
Cool ashtray, Luie!
Thanks Billy boy.

@@spindlesworkshop9744 yes yesterday was above freezing and most of the snow is now gone. The sun is coming out this week..👌
Turned out pretty nice and the walnut was beautiful. What do you use for sanding sealer? I realize you may have answered this question in a previous video so forgive me if I'm repeating an oft asked question.
Stuart
No problems if I can answer I will
I use the Mylands
That ash tray came out Awesome, I really like the stainless inlay. I have been super busy, Ma'Hogan has had some health issues and Ive been trying to get my hot rod back in the streets. I haven't had time for much else. I'll get back at it soon, I appreciate you.
Hope she is feeling better.
Life comes first.
Thanks for the nice comment
Nice project. You mentioned putting it up for sale, do you have an online store?
I'm actually working on building a website...I have been known to throw stuff on etsy
Beautiful work my friend 🇺🇸
I really like the look of it!!!
Do you just use shellac for sanding sealer?
Actually I use mylands I don't think it's shellac at all🤔
@@spindlesworkshop9744 ... Right on. Thank you. I seen that before. I might just give it a try. Keep the chips flying my friend
@@sodacan1011111111111 I like it dries quickly and sands easily
