As a non-American who’s only lived here 5 years, I didn’t know who this guy was but I immediately became a fan. What a collab!
To be fair the TV show was on like 10-15 years ago on the Discovery channel, so it wasn't something everybody watched but it was a channel if you wanted to learn something (not always educational in the school sense but it was something). The TV show is still worth a watch to see more about how America works, or at least the small businesses and jobs that keep our country running.

If you can find the Dirty Jobs series, I recommend it. Aside from learning all about how interesting jobs are really done, you also learn a lot about the viewpoints of working-class America.

I am a retired Marine that is feeling extreme anxiety from watching you look at Mike Rowe nearly as much as you watch the road. I'm only a few minutes in to the video but I can't continue to watch. PTSD comes in all forms. :-/

Fantastic guest choice! Mike Rowe is a testament to working hard, with integrity, no matter what your work is.
While you were in a Tesla getting coffee I noticed what appeared to be a black Nissan Leaf in the background.
This is an interesting conversation. I had a conversation with an uncle about if he knew what he wanted to do when he got the job he did. He said he fell into it when he tried it out. It lasted about 40 years. Since he retired, he still didn't know what he wanted to do.
I can identify with Mike, as both my uncle and I had jobs that lasted longer than we expected.
I think the problem that most people who live in the USA have with this country is that we all know how great it could be and watch as we as a country continue to flounder due to poor leadership.
This is a cop out,if you are so unhappy with "the leadership" what have you done to change that.Or do you do what all lazy bums say "well there's nothing I can do". Even if you yourself feel you can not be a "leader",do you know of someone who would? Get together with other who. feel as you do? Me? I am just a lazy slob who just retired I understand your frustration.

I grew up watching, and to this day, still watch the original Dirty Jobs. Mike Rowe is a hero of mine!! I found Dave Ramsey and the rest of the Ramsey personalities in April. Seeing two of my favorite people ever in the same car? I clicked so fast 😂😂

I think 1 episode of Dirty Jobs should be shown every morning in about the 6th or 7th grade. Great sermon or lesson material for pastors or teachers. Everyone and every job can be necessary and important. Loved the show.

Mike Rowe is one of the few people I respect so much, that I want to see anything they do, or hear anything they have to say. There's probably only a group of maybe 4-5 people like that for me. Dave Ramsey's another. Sorry George... I do enjoy your stuff too! Maybe if you sold the Tesla..... I bet this is the only time Mike Rowe has been in one.

About 15 years ago I met Mike at a restaurant and somebody he was with paid for his meal. I asked if he'd heard about a certain dirty job in a city close to ours and he said "it's on the list." Mike was so funny.

Disappointed this movie isn’t in a theater anywhere near where my family lives- not near Nashville,TN, Asheville, NC, Lynchburg, VA or even Tampa, FL. Thank you so much for asking & it just shows just how kind I’m certain that you are for asking, “what’s up guys”, because it’s been a long hard week already and it’s only Tuesday can you imagine that but since you asked, “what’s up guys” I will certainly tell you that things could be better but then they could be worse also and isn’t that always the case with life ha ha no matter what’s happening it could always be worse and no matter what is happening it could always be better, although there was one time, in fact actually there’s been a few times in my life where when somebody ask me “what’s up guys” I could actually tell him that things couldn’t be better, “what’s up guys” is that things are going so well but then I stop and think you know I suppose something else great could happen and things could even be better so to answer your question “what’s up guys”, I’ll begin by saying things are actually looking up kind of like Paul McCartney wrote that “everything is looking better” and then the severely negative John Lennon wrote, “couldn’t get much worse“, which means obviously that Paul McCartney was an optimist and John Lennon was a pessimist and we all certainly all know that therefore if you were to ask them “what’s up guys” considering they are two people which certainly fills out the definition of guys plural, they would say what they said in that song which they wrote many songs in their career but can you believe they only wrote Beatle songs or actually all the Beatles songs they wrote were before they were 30 years old which really is astonishing therefore if you were to ask them “what’s up guys” they would have been all over the road from the beginning to the end of the Beatles career yet you ask me “what’s up guys” and I can tell you that things are looking pretty good, I’ll come back later to finish answering your question but thank you so much for asking that question.

Mike Rowe is the definition of what a true American should be. I have loved his dirty jobs focus on blue collar work is nothing to be ashamed of and college isnt always the answer. I serviced in the air force and then worked as a Automotive Technician for 28 years and not that I no longer to do that do to physical conditions i do miss the getting dirty, lol
