- It's always a joy adding another instrument to my collection! My newest instrument is the "Tárrega" model by Saers guitars. It is a replica of an Antonio de Torres style Spanish guitar, similar to one played by the composer Francisco Tárrega.

Hey dude! I even got one such "guitar giveaway" notif!! Man, has the channel been hacked!?
@@nukhanlee1618 its a problem for a lot of RUclipsrs. Apologies
@@brandonacker It's dangerous if you don't stop it.
Attention: There is a scammer impersonating me in my comment sections. They are impersonating me and telling random commenters that they have won a prize and then scamming them out of money. At least two of my followers have lost money as a result.
This is a problem plaguing many RUclipsrs at the moment and I'm doing everything I can to report every single one but they seem to infinitely reappear. So please, report them if you see one and do not fall for the scam.
Warm regards,

Can't believe people fall for that and that people do such things.........ah the internet..... 90 percent of it is totally useless!
Some bastard just try to do it to me. Thanks for the warning.

Hi from Canada 🇨🇦, i own a 1951 Paralupi luthier made guitar that my parents bought for my birthday from his little shop in Rome. I use nylgut strings as these are the only ones that do not buzz. My guitar sounds warm, velvety and intimate, even after all those years. I was taught to play without nails. I don’t understand the need for loudness. I recall my teacher at the London Guildhall School of Music (UK) telling me that if I wished to play a loud instrument I should study the trumpet! 🙂🙂
I just want the tip of my nails to add crispness to the attack, not shape the sound ;-)
@@christianboddum8783 to each his own. However with nylgut strings it is not advisable to have any length of nails. I do however cheat when I play the tremolos in Recuerdos, and have extremely but extremely short nails.
@@christianboddum8783 I am trying out Knobluch. Nails are fine for those strings, but the trebles which are very clear, tend to sound slightly more metallic, which is the sound you probably like, but I’m not too keen on. I only put the trebles on, and kept the nylgut bass ones, as they would buzz.
I love anything by Tarrega… the guitar included. I love your interpretation of Adelita.
He's got me hooked too...
tarrega is up there with composers like bach, mozart, beethoven but he does not get recognized as typical famous classical composers because he is single instrument composer.
My wife walked down the aisle at our wedding to Adelita. It is one of my absolute favourite pieces for guitar, too.
What a tone! Congrats with addition to the family of your instruments. I'll bet is sounds even better live then through studio mic.
Congratulations on the new guitar! What a beautiful addition to your collection!
But you do understand that we expect a lot of Tárrega's music played on this guitar in the coming weeks/months... 😉
Have fun! 😃
When you said, “they don’t scream at you, they pull you into their world”, I got the chills 😅
That guitar is beyond gorgeous. Extra thumbs up for Adelita!
Adelita and Tarrega where overall what got me into classical guitar :)
Thank you for introducing your new guitar to us. It's beautiful, as is the piece you shared.
No nails! So soothing and kind.
No nail on the thumb and short nails on the fingers. But I'm trying to use as much flesh in the tone as possible.
I'm considering going back to zero nail soon though ;)
Congrats Brand! I just can't imagine how charmed and happy you should be right now with that new one
Hope you enjoy and continue being so good as so far
Congratulations! :) I'm happy for you!
Congrats and enjoy 😊
It sounds rich in sound, a warm sound that doesn't scream at you. Very well played.
Excellent work! 👍
Great explanation of the purposeful sound design of the older instruments and your take on different string types and their effects. I enjoy your historical explanations and learn something with every video. Fabulous, emotive playing as usual. Thank you.
This sounds amazing. Of course your playing is top notch. I am just beginning. I can't wait for my guitar to be delivered.
Beautiful tone.
Beautiful interpretation of Adelita! Can’t wait to hear more from that guitar!
There's too much to say. . . ! Beautiful!---Beyond beautiful! I saw you use that guitar in some of your shorts and thought you bought the $275,000 guitar haha; but now being able to see it fully---I'm lacking words to describe how gorgeous it is! I was filled with pure ecstasy at 1:23---too beautiful! And Adelita was done so perfectly!
Oh my! The Sensei finally played one of my favorite pieces of whole guitar repertoire! I'm so happy ;3
And congratulations for new guitar it's wonderful.
Congrats!! Beautiful! 🤗
Wishing you and your new baby many, many happy and musical years. You are such a lovely man. Be very well and use it in good health.
I had heard Adelita so many times and didn't think about it much over the years, until you played it on this beautiful and gorgeous sounding guitar! It is probably my favorite classical guitar piece and your playing sealed the deal. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with the world!
Il a meilleure que les guitare Espagnole
Enhorabuena! Tocas fantástico todo de mi compositor favorito, Francisco Tárrega.
Hi Brandon, congrats on the new guitar it sounds really nice.
You should consider getting a tsugaru shamisen as your next instrument, while it doesn’t fit anywhere in the history of classical instruments like oud, lute and classical guitars, its still an instrument with 4 centuries of history and I think it would be a nice addition to your collection of instruments, as it has been a very satisfying instrument and I never got bored of it since I got it some time last year.
You just touched my luthier heart ♥️ sound and character quality over volume, you should make a video about that. Master José Luis Romanillos was the best example of that. Thank you and greetings fron Madrid 🎸
Muchas gracias! I'm happy to hear that. I was in Madrid last month buying a lute from Jose Miguel Moreno. Salud!
@@brandonacker Muchas gracias a ti! Is it usual you coming to Madrid? I really love lutes so I will check of you have a video playing it! Next time you come to Madrid you are invited to visit the workshop and talk guitars, woods acoustics and music! Salud!!
@@carpinterodeguitarras Muchas gracias! I hope to come back and will reach out if I do:)

Congratulations on your wonderful new instrument, sounds magical, but then again it always does when you start playing.. 😹
Thank you!
wonderful playing, i love your musicality
Congrats on the new guitar!
Adelita was the first classical composition i learned. I love the ornamentation you add in the opening phrase of the A section. Just beautiful. Thanks, Brandon =)
Wonderful tone!

That is wonderful! I love the beautiful aging. It sounds beautiful. Congratulations!
Beautiful sounding guitar Brandon. Congratulations!

What a beautiful sounding Saers M800T!
You have a special knowledge of guitars and stringed instruments. Thank you for sharing!
A stunning looking and sounding guitar. Wow.
Brandon, thanks for sharing your newest instrument. Your channel is in part what encouraged me to start taking guitar lessons and learning sheet music as an early 40th birthday present to myself.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Absolutely mesmerizing!
Beautiful man
Congratulations on the new member of your family. She sounds lovely and warm, just as a guitar should. Play her in good health.
very nice guitar, love that!
Supreme.
Guts.
Inspired.
Thanks!
Congrats. It has a really rich sound.
Congratulations! I am wishing you a lifetime of making beautiful music making with this lovely instrument. I do have the sense that we really can’t appreciate it properly through the internet.
I have to say I’m a little dismayed at the aging/relicing of the guitar. I don’t mind a little yellowed lacquer. Certainly I certain amount of “aging” or antiquing seems to be the norm in the realm of violin making. The whole relining thing has become such a contentious issue in the world of electric guitars over the past 10 years or so. I do have to shake my head a little bit.
Lovely playing. Tárrega is such a wonderful composer. The guitar can be such a magical instrument. And nothing is better than hearing a piece that was composed on the instrument and with its very specific qualities and characteristics in mind. That’s not to say that there hasn’t been very many brilliant transcriptions and arrangements of music originally created for other instruments.
I really enjoy your channel and your pure devotion to the guitar and other stringed instruments.
So nice to hear that sound again. Jazz guitarist would do great with this tone, too. You're one of the few younger players who "get it" about the older guitars. Nicely done.
When you played that part or Capricho Árabe, I thought, "He should play Adelita with that guitar" I really loved how you played Tárrega's piece here.
My dads gonna give me the 1971 pimentel Guitar i learned on growing up. I’m excited to try gut strings on it and get back into playing
I was so impressed by this guitar that I ordered a left-handed version of this exact model... it really sounds beautiful. thanks for your videos, they inspired me to start playing again. You are an excellent salesman 😉
@stevenraemae and @brandonacker and anyone else with knowledge about Saers - thanks for letting me know about Saers guitars, that’s the sound I hear in my head when I think of my favorite classical guitar pieces . It’s not the Tarrega model that Brandon has featured here, but I have a chance to purchase a 2023 Saers Torres replica M800 w French Polish. I have no idea what they are normally priced at, would you say $3700 is a fair price for the M800 in mint condition?
@@Sc-Runner I don't know what the difference is between the Tarrega and non-Tarrega model but I can say that my Torres/Tarrega replica was excellent value for money, the sound is beautiful, and the guitar itself was too. Mine was more expensive than the price you mention but it was well worth the money for me.
@@stevenraemae Does your Tarrega have a model number of M800T ? The dude selling the Saers Torres replica guitar is saying it actually is the Tarrega model and has a model number M800T, so just wanted to confirm w you. If so then I think will purchase it . Thanks
Yeah that’s the one, M800T
This Saers *Torres* sounds amazing and it takes an excellent guitarist to make it happen♪ Good luck with your *New* guitar♪♫♪
Beautiful! I am so jealous.
Great talent and great looks. Can't go wrong with that combination.
THAT SOUND!!!
very emotional filled with pain sir beautiful guitar and beautiful piece
YOU R THE BEST
Nice to hear you and learn from you
Beautiful! I'll take two please!
Congratulations
Beautiful tone!
That's an amazing Work you're doing Brandon. The World of classical Guitar is like the Heavy metal Guitar for me. I love this 2 worlds, só diferente, but so iquals.
Bravo.👋👋👋🖤
Thank you, Carlos!
so excited for you and Tara
Congrats on the new guitar...... It really sounds nice. Very clear with no muddy sound.
Brandon your point on high tension and volume at the expense of all else is spot on. Since I started playing the lute I've moved to lower tension strings on my classical guitar. Not as fancy as your new instrument! (it's a humble Yamaha CG190S owned since new in the early 1990s) but it's certainly provided some beneift and makes it easier to express things musically. Tempted to try some gut classical guitar strings on it though again the result isn't quite going to be at the same level. Anyway - enjoy your fabulous Saers Tarrega!
It’s a beaut and sounds great!
What I like most was the Excitement and happiness and the joy, you showed with your Beautiful New Guitar. This means you will be playing everything from the Heart, and the sound you will produce, will be Magical. Also you once had your hands on the Real Original Antonio Torres made guitar.and your playing had that beautiful Spanish Romantic Sound. What you do most well is to bring back that Romantic Sound from the past. Those Romantic
Sounds are most precious and will lasts forever.
Gut strings? All very new to me, but even on my iPad I can hear the superior rich resonance and quality of sound that gives the ‘old Spain feel’ looking forward to hearing more Brandon.
I wish you the best if health to continue making wonderful music with this delightful guitar!
looks good, and what matters most... it sounds great!
Gorgeous! I grew up playing classical exclusively (I'm 42)
For the past five years I have put away the classical and focused on electric guitar (something I felt was missing from a more traditional American youth guitar experience) Your channel is one of the few things keeping me in touch with the world of classical guitar. (although I still listen to Brouwer religiously) I'll probably pick up my humble Alvarez-Yairi classical again soon thanks to you!
Awesome......
Wonderful sounding instrument. Your playing is amazing. Great content in all your videos, and your teaching style is very relaxing yet informative still. I've been playing for ages and am nowhere near that level. Picked up some good tips from your other videos. Thank you!
Love the ageing! I’m a cedar guy but this is a spruce I’d love to have
Beautiful instrument!
It's in good hands, I look forward to hearing more :)
Thank you for your videos! Because of your performance capricho arabe on the Hauser I bought a 1993 Takemine C132s. When I was looking for strings everyone recommended high tension but it didn't sound right and in one of your videos you recommended the nylgut low tension and man am I sold on this guitar now!
Thank you so much for introducing me to classical guitar!
I'm glad to read this!
Beautiful!
I would kill to have your long fingers. You KNOW how blessed you are, right?
Souds amazing even with the speaker of my phone. Also Adelita is one of my favourite pieces of Tárrega, thank you for such delightful piece.
Yo man I’m a metal guy but you have really peaked my interest in classical, I played violin and clarinet for about 6 years so I can already get my way around it, much love man!
Beautiful sound
Great tone to that new guitar! Can't wait to hear it with a set of gut strings 😎
I think so too! I am using gut strings in this video.
aloha Brandon, love your video. thank you for sharing. it is a beautiful guitar. take care.
Aloha! Thanks 😊.
恭喜🎊new guitar
Add a strap! :-) I just watched your video from 2 months ago. What a great voice that guitar sings.
OMG! I remember playing my Dad's classical as a child and it had gut strings on it!
