Canada is a part of the British Commonwealth. The british Queen was the Queen of Canada, too.
Americans fought in the RAF at the beginning, too. And as part of the Commonwealth the Australians, New Zealanders and the South Africans etc, too.
The so called "Free French", too.
But especially the Poles and the Czechs rose to fame as fighter pilots in the battle of Britain with own Czech and Polish squadrons, as far as I know.

gone but never forgotten, the men who flew over the skys of my home land to protect us. Great Britain owes more than it can ever show for the courage and sacrifice of these brave men.

There is a scene in the film "Battle of Britain" where the Polish pilots are on a training fight and join in attacking the German bombers.
The RAF Roll of Honour recognizes that 574 pilots, from countries other than the United Kingdom, as flying at least one authorized, operational sortie with an eligible unit during the period between 10 July to 31 October 1940, alongside 2,353 British pilots.
The Polish were considered the most remarkable of the RAF’s foreign pilots. The renowned all-Polish 303 Squadron shot down over 100 Germans in one month alone. Their lack of fear for their own lives led them to take great risks from which they usually emerged unscathed, because, as Arthur Donahue observed, “They fought savagely, for their pilots had nothing to lose.” A Canadian pilot wrote, “They introduced their own technique in air fighting. They sailed right into the enemy, holding their fire until the very last moment. That was how they saved their ammunition and how they got so many enemies down with each sortie.”
    Australia - 32
    Barbados - 1
    Belgium - 28
    Canada - 112
    Czechoslovakia - 88
    France - 13
    Ireland - 10
    Jamaica - 1
    Newfoundland - 1
    New Zealand - 127
    Poland - 145

Polish 303rd Squadron was really international. Jan Zumbach had also Swiss citizenship. And there were also pilots from Canada (John Kent) and Czechoslovakia (Josef František)

As always good and fun reaction 😀I understand what you mean when you say what they sing about is sad, but you can't stop liking Sabaton for it. Human history has had sad but important episodes, but they retell them in an exciting but appropriate way (what we all admire) 😁

Awesome reaction as always! I feel like a good follow up song to this (especially with your comment about the fear such aerial attacks must have caused on civilians) would be Firestorm (a song about the allied bombing efforts on German cities in WW2, specifically those questionable one's that purposefully targeted civilians to cause the most death and destruction as possible (the Allies if I remember correctly killed far more German civilians during the war with such bombings than the Germans ever did during the Blitz and other attacks on Britain/other areas). It is a good song, but word of warning, quite sad.

Sabaton made a song for the czechechoslovakian Pilots who made it to England and joined the RAF to fight the Nazis, too. Its "Far from the fame"

During years, the British insisted that they did it all alone and minimized the role of foreign pilots in the RAF.

U guys are so sweet, i wanted to give my input about the battle of brittain, as this portrays. England was loosing more pilots than they could train but they could produce plains, so thay asked these peopel who have escaped polan and checkoslovakia and other coutries aswell, if they would fight for england, coz some of the people who had come to england was pilots, so they trained on the planes that was new to them and then they helped defend england against the germans. Hitler was hoping that enough losses of pilots in england would give germany free reighn of the english scies wich meens they could invade. But england won the battle in the air much thanx to these pilots from other countries.

There are a few ways that germany could have won and the battle of britian was one of them, had the Germans defeated the RAF the british would have been completely defenceless
The others probably being stalingrad (an entire german army was wiped out), Dunkirk (a large chunk of the military was trapped and had they been wiped out britian would likely have surrendered) and DDay (I mean if they didn't land on the beaches successfully they couldn't have started the push into liberating France and germany)
