I saw the 80s version as a kid and loved the soundtrack by Maurice Jarre. I was initially disappointed with the music in the new series because it wasn't melodic enough for me. It was only after some time that I realized that the soundtrack works in a very subtle way, saving classic string motifs for special moments - like the love scene in Episode 9.
I never skipped the intro because of this theme.
I think they needed you for this project and they are the ones who are honored! Great job!
Splendid collaboration of East & West. Very respectable that you went to the source and didn't fake it :)

A beautiful smorgasbord of sounds; love it.
I’m hooked from the intro theme
Congrats! They did an amazing job!
I had the honor of standing as a guest in the circle of about 20 Monks from Tibet chanting. I'll never forget.
great video, shame the music was in mono for this to listen back to though.
I love orchestra
Bro is mixing one of the biggest shows on krk's.. respect lol
probably he is not the final mixer, but still great fundaments of course. Also very likely he could provide the final stereo mix for sure.
it could be the monitors that work best for him.. but yeah, I was also a bit shocked when I saw those yellow speakers.
Those are heart cords from that nose flute. OOOOOOO thats a lot from the tiny one. Emotional on the green one. Active, drums in drama.
why is this video in mono?
Which DAW is this
Pro Tools
@@intheblink thank you so much.
It seems like these composers didnt “compose” anything.
They acted as song producers while they recorded other people’s improvisations.
