I guess I can understand why people hate on your Irate vids, even know they're still good. But this is a series you made yourself. Plus it's creative. Anywho. Ignore the hate, keep it up, you're badass!

Nice reporting! Fun Fact: Computer Space made a special appearance in the epic 1973 Sci-fi thriller, Soylent Green. It was painted white for the movie, but the original colors were Red, Yellow, or Blue, much like the various Soylent flavors.

Another great video. I agree with your decision to convert all the old "History of Video Games" videos into HD. It makes the production look more professional and better overall. I'd definitely rather wait for a good, high quality HD video than something that just thrown together in two seconds. Keep up the good work, Chris.

It was confirmed that Nolan Bushnell was at the Magnavox Odyssey demonstration. He signed the attendee logbook that became evidence in a later court trial.

So, the Gotcha game first had two mound-like controllers, which people then dubbed the "boob controllers", so to make the controversy "better" Atari thought that replacing the two mound-like controller with two black stick wouldn't make it ANY worse right? They probably thought "This won't get people talking"! 😂

Nolan Bushnell was a part of Nutting Associates in 1972. When he was sent to the Magnavox Odyssey demonstration, he wasn't particularly attracted to it, or anything it did. The real inspiration of Pong came from when Bushnell played a tennis game on a super large computer in MIT in 1964.

I got that, but I wouldn't go so far as to say AVGN is far, far superior. This isn't a symphonic competition here. :P James is fun to watch. Chris is fun to watch. Both are good, yet different enough to not have to constantly compare the two. It'd be like bringing Angry Joe in on these discussions and comparing what he does to AVGN and IG. No need for it.

There is a ton of evidence that Nolan was at the Magnavox demonstration. First there was a sign in sheet that Nolan signed in using his real name. Also I have seen interviews were Nolan admitted to being there and said he was "unimpressed" yet he copied the idea with some improvements. What a dick. I don't mind he copied it but damn at least give some respect to what your ripping off. Welcome back to RUclips and good luck.

It's so ridiculous that IG can't post a video without having the comment section explode into some AVGN/IG debate... which seems to be more often than not sparked by the AVGN fan boy battalion. What is it that makes them so angry? I don't get it. Anyway, I just want to say to Chris... great video and looking forward to your next game review.

Then tell that to the people who are actually brown-nosing James Rolfe. The moleman guy wasn't. And if you do tell people that, don't take it out on James himself. He's just making videos and entertaining. He can't be held accountable for the more obnoxious fans of his.
