I wish they made visible flow indicators similarly to the type you find for PC liquid cooling loops, it would help to quickly spot flow issues, as well as leaky valves in the case of boilers where you can't tell if the auto feeder or the manual bypass is leaking (for slow leaks).
They do make flow indicators. I’ve never seen one used for the purpose you’re talking about but yeah, it exists.

So I have never worked on boilers systems. I'm from GA. It looks like these these zones operate like a damper zone system? Is that right? Forgive me, like an air flow damper zone system.
Yes you are right. Just with hydronics. They have other uses as well but the theory is the same

Just don't understand why you test the switching relay instead of just testing power at the circulator first?
Call it experience. I check at the relay first because generally somethings not right there.
😂😂😂 don’t you just love them metric bolts an nuts? I hate it when I have to switch wrenches to replace a pump and I don’t have to tell you where I would love to stuff them up the last Teck bottom 😇
I was changing out a Moen shower valve. I had Wera SAE and Metric hex keys. None of them would fit the handle screw. I was going nuts. I hammered a Torx in and got the screw out. Turns out it's a standard size but Wera skipped it in it's SAE sizes. I ordered a stand alone and have that in my plumbing kit. I was going nuts until I figured it out. I had the correct size in a folding set.
Bad practice to take others tools. They could belong to home owners. Would you want home owner to keep your tools if you forgot something or left behind on accident?
