Trying to find ways to teach my High school cartooning classes 3d modeling without bogging them down with blender. Your video presented the program clearly and solved the problems of 3d printing. You saved me hours-THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for this video. Like a few others here I also am just starting out on my 3D printing journey, and this was extremely helpful. I'm really excited to print my own creations and not just buy a file that someone else has made.
You are amazing!! I´m just starting on my 3d printing hobby and your videos have already done so much for me...and i´m still waiting on the delivery of my printer :-) Thank you very much
By far the most helpful video for me.... just starting out in the 3d modelling and printing world.. this video was a great find ... thank you so much... downloading now and saving the video👍
Great video again man. Sculptris is really powerful especially because it's free. I would definitely recommend this before zbrush as zbrush has a higher learning curve and a higher cost ha-ha.
+A Pyro Design Thank you! Yeah I really like free stuff lol. Just because I can't justify spending that much on my RUclips channel yet. But I've been wanting to give ZBrush a legitimate try for a while, so as soon as I can justify that, I'll be getting it for sure. And I also like really simplistic designs that are very intuitive to use. Especially when it comes to getting people interested in modeling their own designs. What modeling programs do you like best/use the most?
+Chaos Core Tech I totally agree. I don't think new people just starting should jump into the higher end programs. The cost and the learning curve can scare a lot of people away. Stuff like this is perfect. The main software that I use is 3ds max. I have been using it since about 2004 ha-ha. Crazy to think about that. I really love zbrush and own it but don't use it often enough. Probably because I don't do a lot of organic modeling. The newer versions of zbrush have come a long way for modeling just about anything though. I've seen some insane zbrush videos that make some of the things I do in 3d max seem like the dumb way lol. I need more time to sit down with it for sure. It's a very powerful program.
+A Pyro Design - I've been playing around with Sculptris for about a week now ,, and was wondering if purchasing a drawing tablet would provide more cursor control..? Either of you guys have,or tried one ?
+Duplicat I have used many wacom tablets and my laptop also has a dedicated drawing surface. I will tell you right now that either one is extremely useful for a program like this or zbrush. They are specifically designed to take advantage of the stylus too. Things like pressure sensitivity and just having that tactile feeling of having something in your hand can make a huge difference. #worthit
+A Pyro Design - Thx for the tip. My hurdle is that I write and draw with my left hand,, but use the mouse with the right. So I am assuming for me, that having the 2-finger drawing glove will be necessary,, since lefty's have an unusual grip position on a pen, and tend to drag our palm across the writing surface.
It was not made by by pixel logic, it was made by a person who made it himself, they came to some deal and I think thats why its still free on z-brush, I dont know the ins and outs of the deal but for it still to be free, it must have been in the deal, I was using it way before Pixel logic got it, its a fantastic program and not bloated with loads of pointless buttons you never use. Its simple to learn and if you can sculp you will be able to make some very good looking sculpts. Have fun everyone ;) Tomas Pettersson Wrote Sculptris, credit where credit is due.
Hello ! Thank you for this nice short and clear video ! you say while importing into tinkercad that we might want to split it so it is printable, why would we want to do that ? thank you !
Yes, it looks really "cool" neat thank you Not a complaint, ( I hope to help, great video), audio can be a nuisance...I am using Headphones turned up I seemed to hear some rumble over your talking, sounds like an sound card type issue or software to me.. not the microphone
+Protomaker Black Sprint Original 3D Printer Sure thing, I welcome all constructive feedback :). I've noticed that as well. I've also noticed that it picks up a bit of noise if I place it too close to my monitors. So I'll definitely try to get that sorted out. I've been thinking about recording my audio separately so I can process it a little further.
+Chaos Core Tech : Actually the problem ""must be"" my headphones and audio: This video sound OK on my speakers: I only hear if I use headphones my end, like a rumble noise. { I may look this issue up } If not: There may be a low cost filter to cut out any noise. Audacity, free software, can do it for free. but a hardware solution of a filter could save the time of loading into Audacity setting up noise gate filters and saving it back then reloading it back into the video. Also Audacity filters can cause other issues changing the voice, etc... I would suggest trying a different computer if possible or/and different Video making software as a test first. Try to see where the problem of noise is and what part is causing it BUT as I say a brief test my end sounds like my headphones
+Protomaker Black Sprint Original 3D Printer Just been listening to some other videos using my headphone system and I get the same rumble so NOT your video but my headphone system, sorry
