Braving the East Wall at Arapahoe Basin

My friend Tyler and I hiked to the top of the East Wall at Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort. We looked at the First and Second Notch, and took the Narrow North Pole down. Slippery and treacherous at the top. In powder conditions the Notches would be more doable but it was hard and icy in the morning. Not fun for everyone but it was fun for us! 4/11/2024

Glad you made it ok, but IMO you bit off more than you could safely chew under the snow conditions & cover. You barely caught yourself a few times from an uncontrolled slide through shark-filled terrain.
