Yeah this scene never gets any easier to watch. They Did an excellent job capturing the feeling of losing a family member with this moment. I remember playing this co-op and me and my brother legit stopped playing the game for 15 mins.
Yes, the developers used excellent storytelling and created characters that we became attached to, so many newer games are missing that. Thank you for watching.
@@JeffdaamIt's a testament to well written characters and story and something we don't often get in entertainment media anymore. Thank you for watching.
@@skyhawk00787 I really felt that Dom had made a decision to sacrifice himself for the greater good should the opportunity arise. When he put his gear on the angel I knew something was up.
Even after all these years, still hard to see my boy Dom die.
Still gets me every time😢😢

A sad moment on history
Dom was dead the moment he knew his wife was gone. He was just looking for his moment - and he found it behind the wheel.
@@whiskeylima4439 I will have to agree with you.
Here i am grown ass adult crying like i'd just witnessed this scene for the time as a teen. Every damn time

I've been playing gears since 2006. I still tear up every time I watch this scene.
@@ozymandias_times9663 I teared up watching the E Day trailer because we get to have Dom alive again with Marcus.
Dom's death scene still gets me to this day. And I'm a fully grown ass man 😢
@@AHeroInHell If it doesn't get one in the feels I'd question their humanity. Thank you for watching. Game on Gamer!
Same!! Still the saddest death scene to me 🤷🏾♂️❤️🩹
Dom was the unsung hero of the original Epic Games trilogy.
This scene hurts to watch... every... single... time! Rip, Dom. At least he's reunited with his family again.

@@skyhawk00787 The scene where Dom finds Maria got me emotional as well.
When dom gives Marcus his knife and doesn't take it back.
That part got me crying when I was a kid.
Most people didn't notice it.
@@DankNG47 OMG! I didn't notice it either! That's foreshadowing too. Thanks for pointing it out. Game on Gamer!
such a great scene and sacrifce
@@BhoyCon1 I'm so sad, no more Dom.
@@Red5Mom such a great charcter, Dom
Brothers to The End....
@@YerMawsDa How can I go on without him 😔
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere.
@@ilya_busov Perfect choice of music to emphasize the moment.
Awesome job
his wife was so good.
i was always player 2 Loosing dom then being given Jace of all people to take his place hurt
@@MajorLacerations That sucks. I never thought about how a multi-player experience would pan out in this scene. Thanks for sharing. Game on Gamer!
