Welcome to the final game of the Marcus Trilogy, and supposedly the HARDEST game to complete on insane difficulty. Will I be able to persevere, complete this campaign solo and get one of the hardest achievements in Gears of War, or will I cry like a baby? Tbh it'll probably be both...

Keep in mind there are still achievements in gears franchise which only 0,03% of players have unlocked😅 imagine you have to play this again without dying means basically if you die you have to start the whole campaign again from the biginning these 2 are brutal in gears 4 & 5

I rememeber playing with my lil cousin. Xbox and 2 controllers with batteries that dont charge(AA batteries) halfway the controller started dying and we swap the batteries and went back to full, stayed playing another 5 hours or so lol. Finished the whole game in 1 night and 1 morning.

Hello snam I really hope you implement some sort of “delete save-file” donation level
Like when you start a new game set one of the tip options price to a timer like $20 per hour of progress and if someone donates it you have to delete the save file and start over again
(example: someone tipping $120 causing you delete a save with 6 hours of progress)
To this day I don’t know how I did this solo

Bro that last mission me and my buddy were struggling for Soo long like 5 hours and I called my other buddy to hop on and join us on that Casual Difficulty and clip Myraah and dude we were very surprised how fast she died like 😂 he said he used to 2 clips with the lancer to get her off the machine😂
Its nuts to see people do this in a stream or video me and my brother took a month of summer vacation to do it XD

I did it solo too, but ten years ago my reflexes were ATTUNED to gow. Now it would be a horrible pain to do. But im borderline insanely patient now when motivated, so it should counter out. Will have to do a reryn of 1 2 3 and judgement
I beat it solo. Hardest part by far for me was Griffin tower. Torque bows out the ass, a bunch of lament, and myrahh showing up didn’t help. Very frustrating.
Oddly enough, one of my hardest parts was the stadium bridge section. I probably never grabbed the boomshot so I was pretty much just lancering everything, and my god those gunkers tore me a new ass every time.
A shout out to the chat for keeping our boi sane during his decent into tough achievements; MVPs.

The dlc campaign for this one was pretty unique, would be nice to see you play it.

@@Snamwichesit’s very very fun and it’s short enough where it’s not a huge investment but gives additional lore to the franchise (mainly about RAAM, Minh and Tai) I think you would enjoy it and the achievements in it are fun. You can play as RAAM btw! He’s a GIANT

Fun fact: around the 18 minute mark, Snam picks up a Longshot and very quickly dies afterwards. In fact, he did not have the Longshot for even 5 seconds. He had it for almost 3 seconds.

I remember beating gears 1 & 2 on Insane difficulty, holy moly was it hard, ridiculous even in some parts but god it was fun. This franchise deserved so much better, GoW 1 is my favourite game of all time still, so many fond memories. GoW 1, 2 & 3 are masterpieces.
Gears 3 final boss the queen was way Harder than RAAM and Skorge wer were died more times fighting the queen than RAAM and Skorge combined
I beat Gears 1 and 2 on Insane like these last 5 days ago, I will admit Gears 1 Insane isn't that bad, (Hardcore is "Normal" and Insane is "Hardcore") trust me I know cause I played these games back to back since June of 2024 and after Hardcore run was my Insane run. Also, Gears 2 was challenging, like Act 3. Chapter 4... and I'm on Gears 3 Insane right now. I just made it to Act. 4 on Insane and I'm ready to make it to the end. However, playing on Arcade Insane isn't that bad than non Arcade mode. I beat Hardcore in Arcade with no mutators (cause at the time I didn't know how to unlock mutators) But now I'm playing Insane in Arcade with the Instagib melee mutator and Fast Reload Mutator on. After Gears 3 Insane, I'm going to go play Insane on Gears 1 remastered, so please tell me if Gears 1 remastered Insane is different than OG Gears 1 Insane?
Also: Judgment on Insane? Not for a while from now cause I beat the game Normal 3 weeks back the first time playing, and I managed to get through the Act. 2 Chapter 4 bug/error issues where the loading screen frozes up after beating Chapter 4. At this point, im kinda burnt out from playing Gears from Normal to Hardcore to Insane back to back since June.
I’ve got every single achievement in Gears of War 3 and Snam let me tell you I feel your pain. I did the campaign on Insane whilst playing solo as well. Only later on did I find out about Arcade mode where you can get stuff like infinite ammo, super active reload etc😂

The only way I could do insane was arcade mode😂 infinite ammo helped so much when everything else kills you so fast
@@devbyrd6127 that would've been SO MUCH EASIER, I've done it insane solo a couple of times but only because at the final boss it glitches or something and no additional Theron guards spawned the third time
I've beat every single gears on insane,but getting all the achievements on 3 is a nightmare,probably harder than beating halo 2 on Laso

Doing this solo was a pain and frustrating. I wanted to give up so many times and took so long for me to finish it.

Kinda impressed how good Gears of War 3 still looks. I was replaying 1 through Ultimate Edition, and then I saw your journey through 2, so seeing this game running again was a surprise! It's extremely close to the Unreal Engine 4 look.
Also, good embellishments on the Series S and X, fps boost and all
I most recently got into gears last summer, got a RGH Xbox for 80 bucks. gears 3 is probably my favorite one in the series probably won’t play the newer ones cause it’s kinda of pointless owning a newer Xbox when you have a PC/PS5.
@@MalikATL fortunately The Coalition does a great job with Unreal Engine 4 games on PC, so Gears 4 and 5 look and run great there

@MalikATL try 4 and 5 my guy. Horde mode in 5 was super fun I spent shit loads of time in there.
Fun Fact: you can punch the Armored Kantus to death😊 I figured that out when I was messing around that’s what helped me beat this part on insane
This video made me realize I would love to watch Snam play Mass Effect. Especially since he can't help but be the good guy in playthroughs, playing the game on insanity would be nice.
Interesting you mention Mass Effect, the locust queen in GoW is voiced by Dr Chakwas.

Great commentary, face on some of the hardest moments in GOW games, Harambe joke and even had a heart to heart with the gold giant flaming chicken. Perfect.

GOW3's difficulty spikes with 4 players, since the IA can be revived, takes more hits and can distract enemies. In a 4 player run, even if 1 dies is game over.
Thats why you play on arcade mode
To see someone like snam doing this brings back the nostalgia to me all those years that we had fun i hope they stay forever

I beat gears 1 2 3 and judgement all on insane and finished all 126 onyx stars. I'm surprised to this day that the insane achievements are still ridiculously low unlock rate
You know, with the long ass bugs, if you shoot them in the head they become incapacitated and you can shoot their tail without them killing you for a couple of seconds. I’m surprised no one in the chat told you that…lmao.

I've played gears 4 and 5 and I'm still waiting for the imulsion monopoly man revenge though by 4 and 5 he'd probably be around 80 and the thought of a geriatric monopoly man shuffling at me with a lancer

Gears 3 is the only gears campaign I've completed on insanity, and even then it was in co-op campaign with sometimes just 2 of us, and 4 for the hardest parts! It took us 2 months but definitely worth it 😂
me and a buddy were trying to play through the game on insane with big explosions, must active reload, and friendly fire on. we were stuck on this part for almost 2 hours 23:45
I was 85% done with seriously 3.0, the last achievement I needed. One day I signed in and a it loaded all the content I got from pre ordering started "unlocking" and popping up on the side. My heart dropped and as I went to my medals for seriously they had all reset😭😭😭

tbh, i'd say all the gears insane (or inconceivable for gears 4 or 5) difficulties aren't really hard, with maybe gears 1 being an exception
it feels more like a waiting game where you have to wait for the chance to shoot an enemy and repeat throughout the game
I remember getting this difficult achievement solo many years ago. The part that really made me rage was the boss battle at 27:40. My companions kept going down, that emulsion stuff the boss smears on the ground was annoying, and the boss was strong and fast. I wanted to punch people that day, but in a kind way, of course!
weird i didn't have much trouble with this boss i would keep going back to the boss to speedrun it. For some reason this boss was fun for me
@@darknessends127 You're so lucky. I remember that boss so well, and a bit of the last boss as well. LOL, not sure why my playthrough was more opposite (the places the RUclipsr got really frustrated in, I didn't really find all that difficult) in terms of difficulty at places. Maybe it's the way I play I guess!
I'll admit that boss made me fear the rest of the game. I like to think it made me better, so the rest of the game was easier.
I died so very many times on the zip line part before my feet ever hit the ground.This was definitely a hard achievement to get

The Armored Kantus and Queen last phase fights took two hours each in coop with my brother. This achievement was insane, but it's finally done.

I know this is ages after the vid but I’ve just finished gears 3 yesterday and that boss fight genuinely killed me. I’m trying to complete every game on insane solo and I still have judgement, 4 and 5 to go but sharing in the pain of the first 3 with you has been so fun. Wish I could keep your positive attitude during these campaigns and will definitely be watching more videos!

I remember joining a co-op session once. It was the part where they were in the supermarket, I think. There's a cardboard cutout of Cole you can interact with. Press the button and it goes "The Cole Train runs on whole grain, baby! WOO!"
In this particular co-op session, there was a guy standing at that cutout, pressing that button over and over. It was funny at first, but we couldn't progress because of him, and he wouldn't stop doing that and move on with the game. So I left.

I dont know if anyone had mentioned this but if youre using the torque bow against the armoured kantus it will one shot headshot it when you stun it. Its a little late now since there isnt gonna be anything like that in future games but the torque bow is insane on insane difficulty against most enemies if you hit their criticals.
This brings back good memories. Side note, the game is actually easier alone, since the bots don’t die and can revive each other. The final boss was near impossible with 4 friends on insane since you don’t go down and just die immediately instead. Also, I can’t prove this and am too lazy to test it, but the enemies do way more damage on arcade mode with multiple players because you can respawn LOL.
for some reason i dont have raams shadow it just says coming soon whenever i download it on xbox one maybe ill put my 360 disc in and then i should have it or just play on 360 the way its supposed to be played cause i also tried to go on the store in the game and it said i have to pay again i tried reinstalling restarting xbox dont know what to do just wanna replay raams shadow cause im using the gears of war 3 digital code i got from getting gears of war 4 back in 2017 might just play on my 360 hopefully it didnt get rid of it on there too cause if i have to repay imma be so mad but at least its $10

Imagine Gears of War 3, Insane Mode. With Permadeath. so it means that if you die. you go back to Chapter 1, Act 1. it hurts me just to think of that!
This game was literally my childhood, returning school to ask my uncle if I could use his Xbox360 and play (and die) a lot of Gears, it was my first full videogame ever, I legit cried when Dom died (I was like 7) + I had a lot of nightmares with the game, lmao, I love Gears 3, best game ever (at least in my heart)
Try The Last of Us on Grounded difficulty, im sure you can think of some other torture inducing thing to go along with it like no stealth, or even no upgrades😅😂

During my latest Gears series playthrough on Insane, the mortar part in Gears 3 at the resort, after the initial wave was dealt with, Anya literally just ran all the way to the mortar guy and chainsawed him which allowed me to bypass fighting the next triggered spawn while the mortar is shooting at me. In all my playthroughs throughout the years, I have NEVER seen that happen before and it gave me a good laugh.
Will be fun to see Gears 4 and 5. Theres a select few sections that give me nightmares to this day in Gears 4 on Insane/Inconceivable. One part in particular is just rediculous and caused some thrown controllers.
God the fucking Snatcher parts in Gears 4 on Insane difficulty pissed me off so goddamn much

This isn't the hardest but I'd recommend beast mode on insane solo I still rock the savage therion to this day becuz of my sweat blood and tears of beast mode
