- I'm gonna show you the simple way to install the Burger Motorsports stage 1 tune on your N55 engine. This is a great tune for someone who wants extra power, but also wants a tune that is easy to remove and reinstall in under five minutes.

You running this on a stock charge pipe?
Yeah I ran it on a stock charge pipe and didn't have any issues. But you are taking a risk when you do that. I did eventually upgrade to a VRSF aluminum charge pipe.
NW Auto why is that necessary?
@@anthonypipia6990 The stock charge pipe is plastic and can crack when you tune the car. This would give you a huge boost leak. The aluminum one prevents that issue.
BMS Stage 1 is made for STOCK cars. Including the charge pipes. For anyone reading this. Go beyond stage 1, best to replace CP.
i have the same one that is shown in the video , i have a f30 328i n26 does it work on my car too ?
The tuner for the N26 isn't exactly the same as the one for the N55. If you check the BMS website, it makes you select which engine you have. The install should be about the same though.
This one works on the n20 engine too right?
It should work the same way on the N20 since the tuner box you use is the same as the one you would use on the N55.
From the BMS Stage 1 harness, I see there are two plus each goes to Tmap and Map sensors. How do you know which one goes to Tmap and Map sensors? Does the hardness has label or instructions tell you which goes where?
The wire that goes to the MAP sensor is shorter than the one going to the TMAP sensor. So if you place the box where I placed it in the video, then the wire going to the MAP sensor shouldn't even be able to reach the TMAP sensor.
@@NWAuto I have the 535i, the map and tmap sensor are close to the driver side. When you purchased the tune, it didn't come with any installation instructions right. Btw how do you like it? I borrowed my friend's racechip GTS and tested it for a few day. Omg that thing don't work. From their site they claim it gives 75hp to my car but I felt nothing. I guess my car was actually run slower with the chip. Horrible. Did you get noticeable hp gain immediately or it took you a while. How's the low end torque?
@@ceddy1031 I found the install instructions on the BMS website. Since your car has the n55 engine, the install should be the same. I didn't feel the extra power right when I installed it. I think I drove like 70 miles before I felt a difference. The power from like 2700 RPM to like 6000 RPM is stronger after the tune.
How so many burbles? Do you have any other mods?
I think the AWE exhaust helped. It was stock downpipe when I did this video

Yeah it should work for all N55 engines
Did you notice immediate change or did the ecu need time to adjust?
It took some time to adjust. Around 100 miles.
