United old boys are a bit nervous the team is getting better and they want to keep the bragging rights
Old boys club needs to move on.
Ex players are upset because they thought Sir Jim and INEOS would mean more jobs for the boys, "putting the Manchester back in Manchester". They would have got ETH out, Southgate in, consultancy roles, coaching roles and more English players (which there is nothing wrong if they are talented) but I feel their anger is not about whats best for the club but about being proven right, wanting the club to belong to them and having inside sources. We will never forget what they did for the club, they are legends and are part of the fabric of this club but wish they would back ETH more and stop putting pressure on him.

Manchester United wouldn’t be where it is without those ex players who gave us all those special moments. No one is denying that, they also know a lot more about the technical side of football than most but equally no one’s word is gospel. Even Sir Alex made some terrible signings and fell out with some of greatest players. Point is, even he had his flaws and famously Roy Keane pointed out how even Sir Alex didn’t always have the clubs best interests at heart. So if he one of our biggest legends of this club can be wrong at times how can you think ex players always have pure intentions. Just by pure logic it doesn’t make sense. For example when Gary Neville says we have a better midfield than Liverpool- you think that’s a genuine opinion? Or rather trying to pile on pressure on the manager? My point is legends they may be but saints they are not and both can be equally true whilst being respectful.

Honestly Kone is a good player I remember watching the U17 world cup last year and i was genuinely impressed by him and some of the mali players had they not received the red card against France in the semifinals they would have went on to win the whole thing . Great signing by Ineos

Jenas is a horrible character. He wrote an awkward and dishonest article on the BBC that was a brazen excuse to brag about his supposed charity work. Mounts good off the ball but doesn’t provide enough on it, you can see the difference in the team when we had Zirkzee as a focal point
And after Amad went off we lost control of the game...we need more players like Amad, Mainoo and controversial SANCHO. These players look after the ball really well.
@@Jhelil Mount and Bruno aren't strikers, a striker needs to play but Mount also needs to play. Im not so sure we had a focal point because Zirkzee was dropping deep, you're just regurgitating Marks words. Even more so you can see the difference when Mount came off, became end-to-end again.

I do have to say one thing on the former players opinions on new signings…
De ligt - is rightly or wrongly perceived to have failed at juve/bayern
Ugarte - is essentially unwanted at psg and is no longer needed as they got Neves (who we wanted)
Yoro - a child with high potential
Zirkzee - not really done much on the big scale
These lads were used to playing in a time when United didn’t spend £50m on a chance. We were bringing in the best player in the prem every year and supplementing it with kids (notice how the pundits don’t go after Yoro).
I disagree with them and think they are stuck in a time when United were winning every year. They don’t appreciate that this is a rebuilt not a finished article. But I can understand their viewpoints even though I think it’s wrong.

I think he looks more like more defensive pogba than ugarte.. obviously not in terms of quality but in terms of profile.. very silky player with a pretty left sided heat map and a great long pass.. doesn’t seem to be an out and out 6 off of the couple clips i’ve seen but my info is very limited so i could be very wrong
