I feel United will need another goalkeeper if they want to progress! Onana is simply not good enough for me.

Totally agree. He gets beaten far too often at his near post and not even to very powerful shots. His diving technique to low shots is appalling. I say if they can get Simon get him in by January
Onana is a very poor keeper much worse the DDG in my opinion as a fellow gk. I hope we scout properly and get the best in class as a GK who can save and play out with his feet.

@@verndev3374 When your a goalkeeper your primary job is to not to concead goals. He's failed at that by every metric. And I'm tired of Ten Hag saying he's won 2 trophies in two seasons. They are low level trophies, a club the size of MUFC should be aiming a lot higher.

@@cyeamaculture8486 The FA Cup is a third tier trophy after the Premier League and the Champions League. And the Carabao cup is a fourth tier trophy. Of course winning any trophy has value and merit but a club the size of MUFC should be challenging for the major trophies like Real Madrid do every season.
Onana lacks confidence, has poor positioning, can't deal with crosses, doesn't communicate with or command his defence, is a very poor shot stopper. I also don't rate his distribution. More often than not he puts players in awkward positions under pressure. Get rid of him ASAP PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😩😩
Hi Adam 👋 , today i agree with you 100% on Onana sadly it's a bitter truth no goal keeper in his Prime concedes these kind of goals, we were scammed by Inter they know exactly what they sold to us and we must admit we were scammed Onana is very poor and his never going to get better.

André Onana is a liability for the team. I've never had confidence in his goalkeeping abilities.

Heaton is a much better keeper than Onana at shot stopping as is Bayindir although Bayindir looks a bit iffy too. Onana needs to improve hugely this season but it looks like he wont. A ridiculous waste of £50m under murtough again. They bought him on one performance in champions league final. Lol. Most teams in prem league have better second choice keepers. I hope ineos do see it too, im sure they do.
Adam come on onana makes some brilliant saves he just makes some mistakes because he has so many shots at him he will get better he’s not long just been European no1 keeper give home time with a stable back 4 and we’ll see !!

EPL is different, is not the same where they play before. Backline is fast as the strikers. It’s not easy to pass them

Onana is a hyped up nobody. We gave up a world class keeper in DDG because of fan pressure bitching about his distribution and can't play from the back...well neither can he and Onana couldn't stop a shot if it was being pour between a strippers hooters....I'll be glad to see him go. DDG deserves way more respect that he got.
Not a big fan of Onana, average shot stopper... but in fairnes regarding playing from the back, when you have McGuire and McTomminay not wanting the ball, it cant be easy for him

You lots chased DeGae out for onana. Now you are doing the same to him for Simon. You’ll do the same when he comes and takes bit of time adapting. Onana was a great goalkeeper prior to arriving by at Manchester United. If he is bad now then we need to only look at our own club.
Facts
How many times have you watched him keep you? You can't call him a good goalkeeper just because he was a part of an inter Milan team that got to the semi-finals. He is a clownish character who, on his day, would stop difficult shots only to let free kicks from 18 yards out played two feet away from him in on goal,he will be targeted each time we play a serious team.

If I think he has to leave United it’s not because he is a bad goalie it’s because I sincerely think the stage is too big for him and he is scared to make mistakes so much he makes them all the time and that’s given him jitters

I’m up in the air about Onana but how can you say Adam you can’t win a major trophy with Onana when he was 90 mins away from winning the CL. Also to say he saves nothing his save percentage was 70% plus which was behind Alison only😮. To put that into context ederson was around 63%. Is it Onana saves nothing which is impossible with a 70% save percentage or is it the fact our defence is shite and we concede to many shots. Let’s see how he does with a settled defence.
Onana is an actor or a comedian. If you prefer to call him that,I don't know where the idea of signing him came from when there are cheaper and better goalkeepers around. Yes, he might be good for inter milan, but for every goal that he saves, he is likely to concede two cheap goals and still keep a straight face as if nothing had happened.
@@jamesmiller2735 that just can’t be possible with a save percentage of 73 % though can it. He literally saves 2 out of 3 shots he faces. David raya save percentage was 65.7% based on that if raya would have faced the 203 shots Onana faced he would have let in 66 goals compared to Onanas 53. What do fans want keepers who save great shots or save more shots! The facts are Utd need to reduce the shots first then call out the keeper. He’s had a bad start but if he has 70% save season by the end of the season and utd reduce the shots by a quarter then we would see a massive difference.

You do not know what you are talking about. Onana is one of the best keeper playing from the back. Get your facts right. His other qualities might be in question but playing from the back is not one..

TH has spent 10's of millions and does not have a clue regarding the quality of players and when he gets them he's too keen to fit them in, in positions that are NOT their best!!! ..One in particular example is his PERSISTANCE in playing the dreadfully out of ideas player that's eventually gonna cost him his job.. his Fanboy Fave Rashford and ditching Garnacho's Form and Talents out on the right!!!

We always think signings are the answer but non has been so far maybe Martinez the rest are shite. The two best players we have are Garnacho and Mainoo. I would just stick to bringing through youth players. Example Bug Willy is doing so well now at Villarreal and we’ve signed the car crash de ligt. Waste of money yet again.
