Hello, i have & use this particular BenQ E-reader LED Desk Lamp. since 2 years and as you say it's a great one. Expensive but perfect. 2 years of daily use already, no issue, used may be 3/4 hours a day. Excellent value

    Thank you!
Size matters…….I don’t waste my time with any light shorter than 4 ft for ANY of my work areas, with predominantly 8 footers, and not anymore expensive than “little” lights and their shadows😎

Being able to change the colour temperature looks like a very handy feature, something I discovered from making my own light setups is that you can't guarantee what colour temperature bulk white LED purchases are unless you pay 'real' money.
For photographing small-ish objects like my Thingiverse uploads I created two very bright 40-LED lights from Poundland purchases, using 8Ah USB powerbanks & the COB LEDs from those 3xAAA powered light switches, held together with 3D prints and 25mm fans incorporated to cool them because the regulator & LEDs can get warm enough to deform PETG!
Luckily I found 8 COB LEDs from those switches with identical neutral colour temperatures, most of them are inconsistent.

Thanks, that looks like a very well designed lamp with great functionality for quite some bucks ... I prefer desk lamps that come with a solid screw-on desk clamp instead of a huge stand that takes away valuable desk space that can not always be utilized so well and it still gives you some risk of flipping when pulling it across the table.

Pretty interesting light, Lee! Works nicely! 😃
I honestly still don't know if I'm going to need something or not in my workspace... I need to finish putting everything in order yet. 😬
But, anyway... I won't forget about this one! Thanks! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

Mad that this video just dropped, only a few days after I ordered something similar. Mine however is a light bar that clips onto the top of your monitor and projects light down to the desk in front of the monitor. Mine also has an RGB strip on the back side of the light bar, to project colours/ambiance/patterns onto the wall behind the monitor too.
