I used a 4mm hook and abbey road king fu cotton yarn. It took less than 100g to make the mosaic top :)

I believe the first cluster sitch is called a puff stitch and the second cluster switch that looks like a petal is called a popcorn stitch. Just incase you ever need a name for that second cluster in the future .
Thank you for teaching such a pretty pattern . I could not figure out how to make it a triangle on my own. but you executed it wonderfully and it was super easy to follow.

What crochet hook size to use for xs to small bust?

Use the hook recommended for your yarn. But if you need more coverage add rounds of double crochets
