have been running dark world ever since i won the starter at a local shop tourney and then had a friend a few years ago add danger too it and man its such a fun deck, i even have gorz in there haha
I've been playing Dark World since it came out, but I stopped playing in general soon after xyz came out because the combos were just too much for me at the time. Now I'm playing again because of Master Duel, but when I saw links and pendulums I was horribly confused because I hadn't played the game in years. However seeing these combos gets me hyped to try new things.
I recently changed Sillva back to 3 and cut a ceruli. Ceruli is crucial for the combo but not as good going second and can be a brick in your opening hand.
ceruli doesnt fit in with ur style of playing becuz u dont have many cards that can summon it from the grave . in my opinion , cerulis main power is to make the opponent discard a card wen u summon him from the grave . everyone has their own strategies , but wat im wondering is why u dont use continuous trap cards that have discard effects so that u can make a play during ur opponents turn . even just one or two of them can save u during ur opponents turn
@@ripslash6048 ceruli summons himself when he is discarded. And then his effect triggers to summon it to the opponents side of the field. You should watch my gameplay videos :)
@@ripslash6048 the point of this deck is so your opponent doesn’t get a turn. You will see how effective ceruli is in my gameplay. Him and Sillva combo together to loop four of the five cards in the opponents hand. Then you rip the last card with talents usually bc ceruli becomes an effect monster that activates on your opponents field. Ceruli was designed to trigger your dark worlds secondary effects.

Using silva like that takes me back to the days when I would use creature swap on a set morphing jar and drop 1 or 2 silva, leaving me with a full hand and my opponent with 1 card
good deck and everything but kinda should've put the deck list in description when you went over the deck didn't tag each card to see the names so dono what some of them are now for example the last few UR spells
Working on grinding out some URs to finish off the profile, I added a couple things like lava golem, astral kuriboh, and the dark spirit of malice/ banishment to help with getting over some meme combos and keep grapha up. Gotta learn danger though, but I’ve enjoyed dark world for a couple years now
How do you feel about Genex Birdman? Are you aware there will be a new structure released for DW in the OCG (Devil's Gate R). Do you want a 2012 Grapha Mat (if youre hardcore DW)?
Bird man is a cool card. Used to run him in pure dark world back in the day. And I was not aware of the structure but I will look into that for sure!! And I’m definitely interested in a 2012 grapha mat DW4L!
idk why many people under estimate dark world / danger . i see more potential in this deck than any other . the only downside is that the danger cards can snipe themselves becuz of rng , but even so , an effect will still activate in the graveyard . as u mentioned , this deck has many tools in its kit . cant be maxx c'd becuz u can just deck them out with card destruction , u have many ways to pop cards on the opponents field with ur monsters activating in the GY and u can reduce the cards in ur opponents hand . maybe a droll is the biggest threat to this deck , but if they have a droll and u have a called by the grave in ur deck , the chances of either of u drawing those cards are almost the same . it is also almost impossible for ur opponent to interrupt and ruin ur turn becuz of the draw potential . it just doesnt make sense to me that it doesnt get much recognition
Yeah honestly the biggest downfall of this deck is the danger rng. But there are ways to help mitigate the rng such as pot of avarice/beginning of the end to refuel your hand. And as far as droll goes you just need to see the called by the grave. Also dimension shifter can really hurt but you can still set up interruptions through it thanks to dangers.
@@doodtcg8505 I built a deck similar to urs since I think that’s the most consistent way to go about it . I let a called by the grave stay since it counters droll and any special summon from the grave . I only put 1 ttt since it’s once per turn and I added infinite impermanence becuz I think it’s the only trap that’s worth throwing in there since it’s not slow going second and a harpie feather duster just incase I go second to avoid too many interruptions . I also replaced the 2 non knightmare discard link cards with underworld goddess since it combos good with I.P on either players turn and it can tribute 1 of their monsters . I also added bujinki since it is easy to summon and can make a xyz just by being summoned . I’m barely getting used to the combos and i get confused on whether I will have enough summons to make the tri-gate wizard Omni negate combo or if I should just not risk coming up short and just make another combo instead . I need to watch more videos like this one to get a better idea of wat I’m doing ingame

Nice build I really like it, ive been meaning to find a way to utilize ceruli and you just showed me that. Is it possible to request a build where you can utilize reign beaux?
The problem with reign beaux is that it only does something when it is discarded by an opponent’s card effect and that element alone is too inconsistent unfortunately.
Yes, like you said the dangers are very rng. Basically I just keep activating dangers to establish board presence enough with dugares, coach king, and saryuja until I find my combo pieces then start looping the opponents hand. That’s why I recommend playing 2 avarice bc you will go through a lot of dangers and will need to refuel your hand with them to keep extending. If they are hand trapping you throughout this process avarice and talents helps refuel your hand while they are just making your job easier :)
I haven't played yugioh in over 15 years and decided to try master duel. I was drawn to dark World and got to gold but my deck is definitely missing something. Your video is really inspiring me to keep at it and add danger to it. Thanks for the video
I'm in a similar boat, I only know what I know about the game cuz of all of Duel Logs top 10s so I knew what all the good cards were. I'm stuck at gold 5, was playing sky strikers but the deck feels weak to me.
12:00 Won't they just ash blossom your card destruction? By the time they have 20 cards in hand there's a good chance they'll have it. Or do people not usually play both maxx C and ash in the same deck
What do you mean exactly? Honestly you just play so many extenders that you can typically push through 2 sometimes 3 handtraps. It just depends when they nib or ash you. And if their hand is all handtraps then honestly they probably aren’t playing on their turn anyway lol. With my new build it’s much more consistent and extends through a lot. However I gave it built for tcg banlist and current tcg meta not master duel. Haven’t been playing much of master duel. It needs a new banlist and danger rng fixed. Before I play this deck on there again.
