Thanks so much, every video I've seen on the rekka cancels said to plink the cancel, your way is way easier and allows you to do delayed rekka cancels much more easier. Also you can do 2K > 2D > 214P > Delayed 214P > 236H > 662D > 5H > wallbreak.

This comment is to support my boy Bachiru! Also another tip is to buffer it slowly if you're playing online. Also watch out for counter hits, the counter slowdown will clear the buffered rekka input.
something to keep in mind is going neutral or holding forward when you press the dash macro. used to mess these up a lot because i was hitting dash while i was holding down or back.

Ok, so I just want to know if there is something i'm missing or if i'm just missing the timing. On the last combo he shows, I am able to get the 2 rekka cancels chained together, but on the third one, the training dummy recovers before I can land the 3rd and RC, is my timing just off slightly and if so how can I improve that
Timing is very strict your juggle needs to be high during the first rekka rep to land this combo
@@Bachiru That was my guess, when I started delaying the second hit on first rekka I realized that they were flying way higher, so I just have to get that rhythm down. Vids are awesome my man, thank you!

TL;DR: do the dash soon as you finish earlumo rather than dash+move at once
Its funny I can do rekka 1 ti rekka 1 relatively easy with no button but rekka 2 to rekka 2 is too hard tight now lol.... help :(
I can do it, but I'm not very consistent. Granted, I just got a hitbox controller i'm trying to learn as well. I wonder if it's better for that kind of move or worse.
Hitbox is the easiest to pull of , I've tried on Pad, Stick and Hitbox and it was the easiest by far

How much does this benefit combos?
Any tips on canceling erarlumo into another erarlumo? Canceling into other moves don't pose much of a problem (because input buffer is quite generous now), but i can't cancel erarlumo into another erarlumo consistantly. If 214P after dc is inputed too early - the game will ignore dc input and instead of "...214P>dc>214P..." "214P>214P" will come out. And if inputed too late - obviously just empty dash cancel comes out. I find it very hard to input 214P in the exact timing.
Tbh is there any situation where it would be optimal to cancel into a second 214p 1? It seems like a neat trick but isn't really practical vs the other stuff you can do
Make sure you arent pressing the dash button while doing the motion. Since you cant dash cancel while inputting any of the 214. I personally do 2145 p+dash
@@FilthyWeeb27 It's not what i mean. Whatever, Rekka1>dc>Rekka1 or Rekka2>dc>Rekka1 - it's all the same. The problem exactly in "dc>214P" part. I can do cancel into other special moves easy, but not in 214P.
same. I'm playing on hitbox, I can cancel into dauro or sword throw no problem, but cancelling erarlumo into erarlumo is very inconsistent for some reason, I can't figure it out as well. I'm not sure the payoff is worth it imo.

Is it as easy for you to do on pad?
It's a bit harder on pad, just make sure to return the directional pad back to neutral after dash cancelling in order to get it consistently
Ram is kinda cool now. She feels more like Xrd now with rekkas

@@Bachiru Never. Ky is just too good to drop now. My auto pilot Ky is making comebacks like nothing 😂
Was doing it both ways and it feels like i can't do erarlumo into erarlumo as easily as with the plink method. For every other special this is actually way better.
