@@julianamaryrose802 it's so much easier to control the patches and settings if you usb it to your laptop and use the editor software. But try this... press effect edit button and use the far left knob to scroll through to the rev1 or rev2. Then use the middle knob to switch it on. Then press enter to play around with the kind reverb you want. Each knob lines up with each part of the reverb you can edit, there's type, time and level. Hope that helps.
Our guitar player just purchased a ve500 and we love it. The problem is when he added it to his other pedal setup on the pedal board we came up with this horrible humming and buzzing sound. I really need input on this if anyone can help. He's using good cables and expensive ones but for some reason the hum/buzz will not go away. Is there a polarity switch or a setting on the box that will stop this....
He can put that pedal in its own “loop” on the pedalboard to keep that noise out of the amplifier’s output...that is, if its that pedal’s “fault”. There are pedals/switchers that do just that. Some sort of “line isolator” may also help this issue. Hope it helps...good luck.
Thanks for these videos, but it's a shame there's nothing about the loop capabilities... I read that looper isn't global - does anyone know if you can change patch to overdub different sounds to a loop, undo/redo, fade to stop, and all that without using an external pedal?
I love this device, it can do so much but I really wish BOSS would release more in depth tutorials...
I bought it a few days ago and totally confused as to how to work it. Information very vague on how to set up and use
@@julianamaryrose802 I know! What are you having trouble with? maybe i can help? I've figured out a few things on my own so far. Let me know :-)
@@KatessaT i just wsnt to use the reverb tbh. I've got as far as switching it on and then I'm lost. Tbh I'm thinking of sending it back .

Please, can you tell me how can I assign HARMONY function to FS5L footswitch?
Does this have an audio interface built in ? Sending audio to my pc over USB?
Can I use this just for vocals without conected an instrument ?
Does this pedal receive midi Program Change/Control Change?
Can I plug an acoustic guitar with piezoelectric pick up?
Hi can I use this on live piano performance? thanks!
I’ve heard it doesn’t have a lead to connect it to the iPad etc - what lead would I need to buy to connect it?

Also....there seems to be a ground switch....flick that before trying anything else i guess
I experienced the same issue, I have been advised to go into the output section and reduce the mic output
WIll the VE 500 read my guitar chords?
Yes, that's one way you give the pedal info for creating harmonies.

Mate this is purely a voice effect pedal. There is no looper here. You might've confused this with ve-8
@@rovenordiales VE-20 also had a built in looper.
If this pedal has no looper, it's just a larger bulky clone of a PS-6.
So in theory, if I’m singing go your own way, I could get a good 3 part harmony on the chorus with this thing!?!?
Yes i tried it. Chorus is an effect thats separate from harmony section.
She had me at "parameters"...lol
The screen is way to small on a gig otherwise very good pedal
is there really no on/off power switch?? pretty annoying
So .. without a P.A., this wee thing is useless ?
Guess it doesnt matter if u cant sing
Could have done without the sing......
