Dude, I wish I would have been following ya back when you had this one the lot! It would have been mine!! A 1960 Impala is my dream ride. My Dad had one and we still have the original 14 inch hubcaps. Interior is in great shape. Hopefully who ever got this one is still enjoying her.
i love old cars but i like the little things to work like the horn, radio, heater, wipers, windows gauges, tach...........it just makes the car more fun
No.matter what it takes to restore this oldie but goodie is well worth it. They're not making any more of these anytime soon so once they're gone they're lost forever.. Any 65' chevy pickup trucks on the lot?
The 1960 model was probably the most overlooked and underrated for sure from the 1957-1970 models. My great grandfather born in 1883 had one. It was unremarkable back then because it was a 4 door, white, and had hubcaps instead of wheels. I think his was a Bel Air.
Love the color, almost the same as Studebaker Turquoise, but the passengers side looks like it was painted 3 different shades.I was going to say yes on the horn.Geesh.....
Beautiful color. One buddy had a '58 convertible, 348/280 - 3x2s, sometimes the linkage would hang up. He'd hafta really stomp on it, then - "Buhh-WAAAAH!!!" My favorite combo on a '60 Chevy is an Impala convertible in Suntan Copper with a white top.
From the play in the wheel appears to need a front end rebuild. Ball joints, Tie rod ends, Idler arm (maybe the only problem), springs a must, and maybe a Pitman arm.... Best part is it is a GM vehicle and the parts are inexpensive compared to todays import mix vehicles. OH, yes I had one with the 409.... bought it for $100 dollars in 1970 because it needed to be rewired under the hood... caught fire and "they did not want to mess with it. Bought a wiring harness at what use to be a wrecking yard full of complete cars... good times in the 70's.... I drove it to high school my senior year. Rattle can paint job.
There seems to be various possible configurations with those 6 tail lights.. Usuallly there's a white lense (usually) in the middle, but I think it looks better like this, with all of em RED. They look fantastic anyway.
Dude, I LOVE your website and your car lot! I have a 1990 BMW 325I convertible and that's the closest I'll ever come to some of your cars, but it's FUN to watch and dream. I'd LOVE to have your job!
The 348 is either the 305 or the 320 horse power engine, I suspect from the idle sound, it is the 305. 409's had silver valve covers, 348's all had orange, interior is far from correct, needs much work, but nice eye catcher just the same.
Born in '61. My folks had a 1960 Impala 4 dr hardtop, white, black hounds tooth interior, 283 powerglide, ps and pb, no AC. Unfortunately it went away in 67 when they divorced. Replaced by mom's 62 Tempest coupe (half a 389) and dad's 64 vw Squareback. Oh well. I love the 60, but that's just too much car for me. I evolved into a Honda man.
Man that old Mark I W sure is purring away! I think it's big 409 brother is a better go motor than an L34 396 (402) It's got more HP for sure, 410 HP on the solid cam factory 409. Sounds better too with the zero chamber heads and wedge in block. Cool design. VAG copied it for the W 12 and VR6. - Sandy
Rewiring a dash isn’t that expensive and you can still find many 1960 impalas that are in surprisingly good condition for not too expensive, it’s heavily overshadowed by the iconic 64 impala so the 1960 hasn’t gone up in crazy value
Beautiful ol 60 impala excellent video coverage as always Nick only thing is wrong with needs new trunk floor & seals too but Classic Industries will take care that tho.
Do you know Shawn Fennell Nick?He used to buy & sell old muscle cars too,got a 72 Chevelle SS454 he tried to buy from me a couple of times,I've had it now for 36 yrs, guess you could say it's found a home 😆
That is a Hotrod right there just needs a little love I love the color if it was my car I would repaint it the exact same color and have a shine to it then you're good to go plus why did RUclips take your pole away that's odd
Hope I am incorrect, that 348 looked like it has doubled hump heads. I had a 60 nomad wagon that had a 348 and and my engine didn't look like yours. Check them out, they are rare.
Oh yeah, old cars are better, V8, Rear wheel drive, no automatic transmission just manual, no computers, no aids, no reverse camera, no traction control, no ABS, no airbags, no problem.
Love the color and the car only if she had a better tune up like a 750 Holley and few other upgrades you would of had a better chance messing with that guy in the beginning of the video I wish I had that car
Nick is one of the most honest car dealers in the nation, my favorite muscle car dealer in the whole USA.
Absolutely STUNNING!!
Appreciate the honesty.
I love these 60 Impalas and Bel Airs as much as I like the 56 Bel airs. Awesome looking cars.

I love those 60 Chevys. Ive had a few of them back in my day. My favorite car. Someday I'll have another one.

Closing in on some goals then it's fun car for the driveway again. I'll enjoy the virtual shopping till then. Bat wings are cool!

What a cool cruiser!! My dad had 1 there huge inside!😄😄🐸🐸
Love that year. My dad had a 1960 Belair when I was a kid. If I had the money I'd buy it and take my pops for a drive in it.
Neat car Nick! Nice to see a model not seen as much these days, and in a beautiful color. Love that it still has a 348 "W" engine and a 4-speed!!!
If the wiper's don't work that makes her a sun shine car
Wow my car very beautiful look beautiful colour thanks Nick have a very nice day

Luv those wheels! Beautiful beautiful car.
My mom & dad drove a 60 Belair when I was growing up.
Lots of potential ! Love it !

I lost the bet on the horn; this was a very cool test drive; car is really cool👍nick👍👍
I like the color, it reminds me of one of those cemstone trucks
What a beautiful car!

Great car at a very fair price. Maple motors does it again!🇺🇸👍
Very nice 60..... plus a four speed
Look at 6:46 and notice the column. Looks like it was a 3on tree and someone put a 4 speed in it. Still nice car
@Big Wheel Yeah give me a stick over a slip-o- matic any day.
Sweet car, Nick. I just can't believe it still retains a 348-cid "W" motor after all of these years! 😄👍🇺🇸
Agree, Art. LS Swap makes me puke - unless it's replacing a Caddy 4100 or an I6 in a Nova. Art are you an old BITOG alum ? - Sandy

Wipers and radio not working, think about blown fuse!.
Does anything else work besides the fuel gauge?
Cool old car. Problem is after purchase too much has to be spent on rust issues and dash problems.

@@nickmacias00 I like the 60 vs the 64 any day.
You saying that 70 couldn't take him? Would ya mind telling me why? Lol.

Most Beautiful car I've ever seen ,, you sure have a Great Job !
200 kid
Dang, was that a Camaro ? That thing was quick
Think it was a Jag convertible.
Now i remember this car from the jeepers creepers movie
Yeah, that 4-door was a 283 & 3-speed I believe.
That car will take you down to Funky town !
Love the car.
A true classic!
No horn😂😂🔥
What a style..!! 💕 💥
Nice looking boat
Just like the one the Grove Street Gang drives.
Does it come with a set of oars lol🚣🏼
She is very beautiful 😙
Sweet ride. Decent price

“Night Moves”
Hey I'm a 1958 model and I don't look that good.
Needs a full restomod restoration

You are incorrect,if your 60 nomads motor didn’t look like that you had a 283 , all 348 -409`s have those shaped heads

Looking for A100 dodge coe pickup,,,, or a 60-66 Chevy longbed
Yeah!!!!finally a car with a decent paint job!!!!✌💛🤘😎
you need glasses - the paint is pitiful!
A couple of brake lights out
When I was a teenager you could buy this car for a $100 for school or work.
Anyone know the name of this paint color? Like the iconic turquoise color from the 50s and 60s
Love the color and the car only if she had a better tune up like a 750 Holley and few other upgrades you would of had a better chance messing with that guy in the beginning of the video I wish I had that car
I agree. Build that 348 to 409 specs and it would do a whole lot better against that "store bought" Camaro, lol.
Is that red carpet in there?! I'm not getting that one?!
When are you going to make a video on the red 65 mustang for 15000
At first I went damn that's a ugly ride. And now I can't stop thinking about it
A cream puff and vintage like me
What price on it
Greg G
Didn’t see it must have cut video short
Greg G thank you for your input. Still didn’t hear it and couldn’t make it out on video
So many things wrong with them!!!
Bibbily bee bop
Don't you bet on that. It can take that other car. That's the purpose of having that 348.
