    Callaway Supersoft has been one of the most popular balls for years, with golfers who like it so much that they won’t play anything else. Now we’ve combined incredible cover, core and flight technologies to make it even better. Callaway claims the Soft Compression Core maximizes energy transfer to increase ball speeds, while also promoting high launch and low spin in your longer clubs for more distance.

    I used to play an expensive Bridgestone ball about 5 years ago until I found a Supersoft in the rough that someone lost I gave it a shot and I never went back!It's such a straight,long ball that really is super soft.Shot my best rounds with it and refuse to play any other ball.Great price too.

    I like the Supersoft by Callaway quite a bit. I like the orange one's and use them a lot. They seem to play well off of all my clubs. Great video/review. They don't break the bank and the overall performance is pretty darn good. Years ago they did not hold green well. They do better in that arena then they used to. I don't have an issue with them not holding green anymore at all. They are quite soft and you are right a pretty low spin ball from what I have experienced. I use them all the time. Thank you. Joe

    You are the kind of golfer that I am trying to become. I'm not a big hitter either, my best drives are 240 max but I keep the ball in play and am a good wedge player. You have a nice, repeatable swing and you hit the ball real clean with good, solid contact. As far as the Callaway SuperSoft, I am sold. I tried using it just this year and found right away that it travelled further off all the clubs but especially the driver. I tell people that if you have a slower swing speed and need more distance, especially off the tee, definitely give this ball a shot. I'm really shocked that the SuperSoft didn't go farther than the ProV1, or any other ball for that matter because my experience is that the SuperSoft just goes further than ANYTHING else I've ever hit. Keep up the great work!

    the supersofts remind me alot of the srixon soft feel. I usually trade these two out depending on which one i can find cheaper.

    • @mistahshorthitter
      @mistahshorthitter  Год назад

      They are very similar. The Callaway Super soft is softer and will less spin than the Srixon. Both are good golf balls. I just did a video on the Soft Feel on my channel. Thank you for watching!

    Good review! I just recently discovered your channel. Good stuff on here.
    I've been playing the Supersoft as my main ball for a few years, although I'm always trying out other balls to see if something else might work - usually some variation of a softer urethane ball. But I keep coming back to the Supersoft, which says something, I guess. Also I got a hole-in-one with one last year so I'm a bit biased, probably. It is an extremely low-spin ball. My game doesn't rely on much spin around the greens, so it's not an issue for me, and I've never had any problem holding greens with it. It is pretty jumpy in the short and mid-irons, but this has helped me WAY more than it's hurt me on the course. I'm a bit surprised at your driver spin numbers, because I've found it to be low spin all the way through the bag.
    Anyway, keep up the reviews - I'm going to check out some more of your content!

    I am glad I discovered your channel! I am getting back into golf and need to buy some balls. I don’t want to spend a lot. My Wal Mart has the Supersoft and Titleist Tru Feel. Which do you recommend?

      I had to do some homework on this one! In my 5 Best value ball the TruFeel came out just 1 point ahead of the Supersoft. Here is a link to that video: ruclips.net/video/1f5IgASsnCg/видео.html Thank you!

    I found that the Supersofts are great on slow greens. I used to come up short a lot with the ProV but the Supersoft seems to roll out better with the same effort stroke! Less 3 putts! and the low spin rate gets me good distance with my driver as the ball gets up nice and high. Great ball!

    Hey man great video! I play these balls and definitely great ball for the price spin around the greens is low but other than that keeps it straight to the green. Keep up the good work!

    I’m 61 years old, been playing 3 years, been using yellow ss for 2 years. My ball of choice, only negative I’ve noticed is they will scuff easily, ie., cart paths, trees, etc.

    I love your channel...
    I honestly think on #16, the reason it released is it was coming out of the rough caught a flyer, and it looks as though the greens have been aerified and have top dressing(Sand)...with those 3 contributing factors a ProV would have released to the back also...just my opinion because I play golf with a guy who has played these for years and he has no problem getting them to check on pure greens. I bet you will have no trouble once the greens heal.

    I liked your review of the Callaway Supersoft. I tried them myself for a while but have a mixed bag of results . They are soft for me off most clubs. The longer clubs were fine the ball flew as expected, but what I found was that for 9- upwards the spin rpm was low, not a little amount either, a massive amount which resulted in next to no spin on shots into the greens. I used 6 balls and gave the other 6 away. Went back to Prov1x in the winter and TM TP5 for the summer. I did like your review and agree wholeheartedly that they offer low spin so for distance it's good but for spin rpm they ain't too good.

    • @mistahshorthitter
      @mistahshorthitter  Год назад +1

      That's a pretty good assessment. That TP5 had some super high spin in my testing for the wedges. Great ball. Thank you!

    I started the season with this ball because of distance off the tee, but, l also had trouble holding greens. So many shots I thought were perfect would hit the green and release sometimes off the green. I switched to the Callaway ERC Soft with the 3 lines ( helps lining up putts) and I am holding the greens more consistently. I still get really good distance off the tee and with fairway woods as well as my hybrids. The ERC ball is 3 piece versus 2 piece Supersoft. It’s worth the extra $10 for me. Thanks for your review ✌️
