If you ever do another history vid on the Pens, do Howard Baldwin next.
Tree and the legendary dramatic interpretations.
How the actual hell did Creamer get to coach anywhere in the NHL if his English needed so much work? His coaching the Penguins was never gonna work.
Someone did not care or did some really political correctness bull crap saying it doesn't matter if the guy speaks French they're going to understand him anyway.
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that the last time Leafs won the cup there were only 6 teams and we haven't been on the moon yet.
What's funny is that my father went to a high school reunion yesterday and coach Creamer was there (he coached him for 3 years) and said to the people around him that "he was a hell of a player!" He ended up just playing 12 games in the QMJHL 😅
I'll never forget Bill Clement referring to him as Pierre "Non-Dairy" Creamer to Chris Berman on Sports center before a game in 1987-88
This video is perfect except for the insinuation that Jimmy Mann qualified as a hockey player.
Congrats on 600K, Tree.
Goaltending in the 80s was so mickey mouse, like I'm screaming at this guy to go butterfly at 9:03
1991 will forever live in infamy in the State of Hockey it started the beginning of the end for the North Stars
If he was like Tyrion Lannister, would he be a South Pole elf?
Tree, one of my earliest memories was the game where 66 went off for four goals including the winner in OT in a must-win game at Washington where he rendered Lange speechless. Well, evidently, given that a tie was useless, 66 is arguing with Creamer on the bench IN FRENCH to pull the damn goalie but Creamer was so stupid AND headstrong that he wouldn't do it. So....66 simply took matters into his own hands. The Creamer and Ubriaco eras from 87-90 were something to behold, my friend, when you're scoring AND giving up four and a half goals per game.
Still waiting for the Clippers' Legacy of Failure.
Still waiting for Paul George and/or Kawhi Leonard to leave them, sadly. :(
RUclips won't allow a video that long.
Love me some deep dives 😊
