Seoul National University rises to 44th in World University Rankings

More accolades for Korea's top-ranked university--
In its World University Rankings list released Monday,.. the British magazine Times Higher Education placed Seoul National University in 44th place.
That's 15 spots higher than last year.
The British magazine ranks universities each year based on a number of factors, including teaching conditions, research and citations.
Six other Korean institutions made the cut, including the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology... and the Pohang University of Science and Technology, which ranked 56th and 60th, respectively.
