    I'm looking to build a boat similar to yours a Blazer SS with a 60/40 Mercury what's the smallest size boat you would put with that motor?

    • @1fastgmctruck
      @1fastgmctruck  5 лет назад +1

      My boat is a 1752 80 gauge with a 60/40 that runs 30 mph.I would go no smaller than a 1652

      @@1fastgmctruck would you go back with a 80 gauge or the hundred

    • @1fastgmctruck
      @1fastgmctruck  5 лет назад +1

      For the water around here 80 gauge does just fine but if you got huge boulders and rocks I would go with 100 gauge......If you step up to a 115/80 or 90/65 outboard I would go with 100 gauge

    Can we see the impeller after few shallow passes?

    • @1fastgmctruck
      @1fastgmctruck  3 года назад

      The impeller is SS and can take a pretty good beating before you need to take a file to them. Most nicks will come from getting stuck on gravel bar and leaving motor running. Running over shallow bar without dragging at high speed normally want pick up enough rocks to do any damage to impeller.

      Interesting, just thinking because my jetski try suck everything in even very slow speed. Meybe this set up is way more different or better parts jne

    • @1fastgmctruck
      @1fastgmctruck  6 лет назад

      If you plan on running it on big chunk rock water I would get the 100 gauge but if it's small gravel,sand,mud bottom 80 gauge would be fine.
