    My belief in God didn't start with the Bible or anyone trying to convince me through apologetics. It started because I asked Him with a sincere and open heart to reveal Himself to me if He was there. Before anything else can work, one needs to open their heart and be genuinely willing to seek the truth. And once one finds it, everything will change and the Bible will become one's guide after that.

      I know God's real. I have had experiences with Him. I've heard His audible voice. If someone hasn't experienced this for themselves, it is not my fault. Someone who doubts God exists has a demon of doubt and you usually can't reason with it, it needs to be cast out. Usually if a person has the demon of doubt they have other demons too.

      I think as believers we've all gone through something similar with God revealing Himself to us. A stubborn, rebellious atheist is not going to be willing to humble himself and ask that question. That's why this conversation will never end with them. Many others aren't going to ask God just for the sake of being able to keep their arguments going. And if they did have a spiritual experience with God, I still highly doubt that they would share their experience also.

      Many people find the doctrine of the Holy Spirit confusing. Is the Holy Spirit a force, a person, or something else? What does the Bible teach?
      The Bible provides many ways to help us understand that the Holy Spirit is truly a person-that is, He is a personal being, rather than an impersonal thing. First, every pronoun used in reference to the Spirit is “he” not “it.” The original Greek language of the New Testament is explicit in confirming the person of the Holy Spirit. The word for “Spirit” (pneuma) is neuter and would naturally take neuter pronouns to have grammatical agreement. Yet, in many cases, masculine pronouns are found (e.g., John 15:26; 16:13-14). Grammatically, there is no other way to understand the pronouns of the New Testament related to the Holy Spirit-He is referred to as a “He,” as a person.
      Matthew 28:19 teaches us to baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is a collective reference to one Triune God. Also, we are not to grieve the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). The Spirit can be sinned against (Isaiah 63:10) and lied to (Acts 5:3). We are to obey Him (Acts 10:19-21) and honor Him (Psalm 51:11).
      The personhood of the Holy Spirit is also affirmed by His many works. He was personally involved in creation (Genesis 1:2), empowers God’s people (Zechariah 4:6), guides (Romans 8:14), comforts (John 14:26), convicts (John 16:8), teaches (John 16:13), restrains sin (Isaiah 59:19), and gives commands (Acts 8:29). Each of these works requires the involvement of a person rather than a mere force, thing, or idea.
      The Holy Spirit’s attributes also point to His personality. The Holy Spirit has life (Romans 8:2), has a will (1 Corinthians 12:11), is omniscient (1 Corinthians 2:10-11), is eternal (Hebrews 9:14), and is omnipresent (Psalm 139:7). A mere force could not possess all of these attributes, but the Holy Spirit does.
      And the personhood of the Holy Spirit is affirmed by His role as the third Person of the Godhead. Only a being who is equal to God (Matthew 28:19) and possesses the attributes of omniscience, omnipresence, and eternality could be defined as God.
      In Acts 5:3-4, Peter referred to the Holy Spirit as God, stating, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.” Paul likewise referred to the Holy Spirit as God in 2 Corinthians 3:17-18, stating, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
      The Holy Spirit is a person, as Scripture makes clear. As such, He is to be revered as God and serves in perfect unity with Father and Son to lead us in our spiritual lives.

      @Loving one another
      I though we already went through this decontextualized analogy towards God?
      The Bible describes God as holy (Isaiah 6:3), righteous (Psalm 7:11), just (Deuteronomy 32:4), and sovereign (Daniel 4:17-25). These attributes tell us the following about God: (1) God is capable of preventing evil, and (2) God desires to rid the universe of evil. So, if both of these are true, why does God allow evil? If God has the power to prevent evil and desires to prevent evil, why does He still allow evil? Perhaps a practical way to look at this question would be to consider some alternative ways people might have God run the world:
      1) God could change everyone’s personality so that they cannot sin. This would also mean that we would not have a free will. We would not be able to choose right or wrong because we would be “programmed” to only do right. Had God chosen to do this, there would be no meaningful relationships between Him and His creation.
      Instead, God made Adam and Eve innocent but with the ability to choose good or evil. Because of this, they could respond to His love and trust Him or choose to disobey. They chose to disobey. Because we live in a real world where we can choose our actions but not their consequences, their sin affected those who came after them (us). Similarly, our decisions to sin have an impact on us and those around us and those who will come after us.
      2) God could compensate for people’s evil actions through supernatural intervention 100 percent of the time. God would stop a drunk driver from causing an automobile accident. God would stop a lazy construction worker from doing a substandard job on a house that would later cause grief to the homeowners. God would stop a father who is addicted to drugs or alcohol from doing any harm to his wife, children, or extended family. God would stop gunmen from robbing convenience stores. God would stop high school bullies from tormenting the brainy kids. God would stop thieves from shoplifting. And, yes, God would stop terrorists from flying airplanes into buildings.
      While this solution sounds attractive, it would lose its attractiveness as soon as God’s intervention infringed on something we wanted to do. We want God to prevent horribly evil actions, but we are willing to let “lesser-evil” actions slide-not realizing that those “lesser-evil” actions are what usually lead to the “greater-evil” actions. Should God only stop actual sexual affairs, or should He also block our access to pornography or end any inappropriate, but not yet sexual, relationships? Should God stop “true” thieves, or should He also stop us from cheating on our taxes? Should God only stop murder, or should He also stop the “lesser-evil” actions done to people that lead them to commit murder? Should God only stop acts of terrorism, or should He also stop the indoctrination that transformed a person into a terrorist?
      3) Another choice would be for God to judge and remove those who choose to commit evil acts. The problem with this possibility is that there would be no one left, for God would have to remove us all. We all sin and commit evil acts (Romans 3:23; Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8). While some people are more evil than others, where would God draw the line? Ultimately, all evil causes harm to others.
      Instead of these options, God has chosen to create a “real” world in which real choices have real consequences. In this real world of ours, our actions affect others. Because of Adam’s choice to sin, the world now lives under the curse, and we are all born with a sin nature (Romans 5:12). There will one day come a time when God will judge the sin in this world and make all things new, but He is purposely “delaying” in order to allow more time for people to repent so that He will not need to condemn them (2 Peter 3:9). Until then, He IS concerned about evil. When He created the Old Testament laws, the goal was to discourage and punish evil. He judges nations and rulers who disregard justice and pursue evil. Likewise, in the New Testament, God states that it is the government’s responsibility to provide justice in order to protect the innocent from evil (Romans 13). He also promises severe consequences for those who commit evil acts, especially against the "innocent" (Mark 9:36-42).
      In summary, we live in a real world where our good and evil actions have direct consequences and indirect consequences upon us and those around us. God’s desire is that for all of our sakes we would obey Him that it might be well with us (Deuteronomy 5:29). Instead, what happens is that we choose our own way, and then we blame God for not doing anything about it. Such is the heart of sinful man. But Jesus came to change men’s hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit, and He does this for those who will turn from evil and call on Him to save them from their sin and its consequences (2 Corinthians 5:17). God does prevent and restrain some acts of evil. This world would be MUCH WORSE were God not restraining evil. At the same time, God has given us the ability to choose good and evil, and when we choose evil, He allows us, and those around us, to suffer the consequences of evil. Rather than blaming God and questioning God on why He does not prevent all evil, we should be about the business of proclaiming the cure for evil and its consequences-Jesus Christ!

It is outright refusal to acknowledge the truth. The Bible prophesied that time will come when everyone will undoubtedly know God exists (during the 7-years tribulation, aka time of Judgement). Sadly, most will choose to curse and fight against God instead of trust in Him. Bottom line is, no matter how many evidences you present now, and God eventually reveals Himself (Second coming of Jesus Christ, and after the Millennial Kingdom), many will refuse to accept and come to Christ. The true evidence of the Holy Spirit being in one's life has nothing to do with feelings because feelings are fickle, they come and go! They are like the waves of the sea. The true holy spirit comes into our lives to reveal the truth to us and to sanctify us by it. The holy spirit also gives us the power to resist evil and love the truth! It's not some warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach or some electrifying feeling that envelops your body: a demon can do that too! The true test is whether you're obeying God's commandments. Are you forgiving your enemies even when you don't "FEEL" like doing it? Are you returning a tenth of your income to God even when you dont "FEEL" like you would have enough left to pay your bills? Are you resisting the lusts of the flesh and looking in the opposite direction when a naked woman, who is not your wife, is walks by? Are you patient and praying with those who are struggling with a particular sin or are you harsh and cold toward them? These are the true questions we need to be asking ourselves when we talk about being Spirit-filled.

People used to think all types of events that happen on Earth were the result of some higher power, but now that we have simple explanations for these events, no one thinks that.

    Just look at the fine tuning of the universe, the fine tuning of man, and the fine tuning of life. Consider the bacterial flagellum. It is described as one of the most efficient machines in the universe. This microscopic organelle is essentially a perfectly designed outboard motor - complete with a stator, u-joint, drive shaft, environmental sensors, electromagnet, and water-cooled motor. This rotating motor consists of a number of necessary parts in a particular organized way, any part without which the machine will not work. If each part had to result from an individual separate evolutionary change, that part on its own, would have had to provide an evolutionary advantage. However, the part independent of the complete mechanism, would have not itself provided any benefit - if it can even be believed that the u-joint for example would have evolved for no particular reason, by random chance. Instead, that part would not be passed on to the next generation by replication. The flagellum could not be built over generations incrementally, in steps. Natural selection would eliminate any characteristic in successive generations, short of a complete functioning flagellum mechanism. Integrated complexity of the organelle presents an insurmountable obstacle to the fundamental claims of evolution. In other words, there is no way that the bacterial flagellum could have ever existed if it wasn't created by the hand of God. We can talk DNA next. What an absolute miracle in terms of its compact and highly efficient informational encoding. Just two examples out of millions upon millions upon millions that glorify God's mighty work.

This world is indeed extremely well suited to us, and to all other life. It is true that there was an extraordinarily narrow path to the point we are at today. But the argument makes an assumption that the universe HAD to come to this point, which I disagree with. I think that a more likely explanation is that through natural selection over the course of millions of years, we adapted to be well suited to the existing environment, not the other way around. that does NOT mean " = innate atheism"! "Innate atheism" would mean a child would never think without being told "there is or there could be (!) a higher being that created the world". You think so? Even most atheists would deny that.
      Or do you have any study proving that?
      Why do all cultures of all times have their Gods if atheism was innate? The first atheistic parents of mankind (whenever and whoever this may have been) never told their innate-atheistic children about a higher being/ god. These never told their children, etc, etc.

God bless Frank Turek, but a lot of what he said is very academic. If we have really read the Bible and remember it, nowhere did Jesus or His Disciples spend time being academic or trying to prove the existence of God....or even the existence of Christ to new lands that never met Him. They simply walked in love, showed sacrifice for others, and displayed the Power given to them. We have to stay the course and understand that our goal is to simply give the Truth we know in Christ according to The Word.

      @Hemlock Cocktail These verses do not contradict each other. They can be understood by reading the chapters in full. In 2 Timothy 2, Paul instructs Christians on how to address disputes and empty discussions. Christians should avoid such things, As they only lead to confusion among some. (14-15) verses 22 through 25 explain what Christians should do instead. “22 So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 23 Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. 24 And the Lord's servant[a] must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth”. it is true that 1 Peter 3:15 tells Christians to defend there hope and faith in God, but you did not include the rest of the verse. “ but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect”. Here we can see that both verses are referring to how Christians should approach others when talking about the faith, with gentleness, peace, and respect. When people defend the faith, they must be very careful to not become arrogant, feeling superior in the fact that they just proved a point. Instead, they should follow the example of Christ and the apostles, humble patient, and loving with their interactions with others, and speaking God’s word just like Sherese has already said. Next time, before you use another Bible verse as an argument you should try reading the surrounding scripture and the context of the book it’s found in. I’m saying this out of love, because I’ve made the same mistake multiple times, and it’s still something I need to work on every day. God bless

    • @mareejoy6113
      @mareejoy6113 3 года назад

      The Bible says not to get into quarrels because they often lead to unrighteous anger, which is a sin. If you look in the King James Bible, one of the closest translations of the original language, the word defend is not even used in one Peter 3:15. “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear”. You do not have to get into an argument with someone to defend something. When Christ was challenged by the Pharisees in matters such as the law, he did not get into quarrels, he taught with love and patience. So you are correct in saying that Christians are meant to avoid quarreling, but they are also meant to teach and give answers when they are faced with questions and challenged by others.

    • @TheWatchmanWebsite
      @TheWatchmanWebsite 3 года назад +2

      @Hemlock Cocktail But the verse you quoted is about anyone asking about 'the hope', in other words faith. Indeed we have to be ready to engage in matters of faith. You are not engaging on faith but on evidence of God or God being the creator. So there's no 'contradiction' there.
      Indeed the verse you quoted is not applicable to people like you, who do not believe God to be the creator and are not open to accepting the gospel of Christ, for Christ advised not to throw pearls before swine. Blessings!

Their was nothing to could tell me that proved God existed and then one day I sat and thought with my brain and decided their was no way I could possibly know 100% for certain that someone or something created everything as we know it, and that's what made me an agnostic. Which is when I was first willing to admit that I didn't know what was happening. Shortly after that I realised no one would believe or trust someone who admits that they know nothing at all about how everything was created for certain. This was when I first started reading the quaran. Even then I knew it was the book of Satan. Once I realised I just admitted a book of Satan exists, that means a book the opposite of that probably exists and that the bottomless pit of evil must be countered by some kind of all powerful good that is limitless. This was when I started reading the Bible. I read the first page or two and that's when I realised that bible contained more knowledge than I could ever hope to learn and thus it's creator was smarter than I. This is when I realised the bible has no known author and was rather, created by the hand of God. Everyone thinks the first books of the bible were written by moses but that's not true. Moses didn't write them because they're actually about Moses, not written by him, but about him. The beggining of the book of genisis has never been accurately dated and is believed to be ancient.
      How could something ancient, something created before telescopes, know to call the planet were on "Earth" and that space is a deep dark void? This book somehow knew the nature of the universe far earlier than when we thought it was regular common practice for people to think the earth was flat. Sounds like a higher power to me. The thing that's behind the creation of the bible new that space was an endless void long long before man did.
      Everyone on earth calls earth "earth" but they don't realize the first time we see the name earth in recorded human history is the beggining of the bible, the oldest known pieces of writing in mankinds history.
      Even the muslims are more Christain than they realise lmao. Repent Muslims and come back to Jesus. Come back home, you don't need Muhammad deciving you no more.

      By the way, is there any reason for believing that moses didn't write the first books of the bible?

    • @TheAnnoyingBoss
      @TheAnnoyingBoss 3 года назад +1

      @@nsptech9773 I wrote out this massive beautiful explaintion to your question but then my tablet died right as I was hitting send so I'm going to sum it up quicker lmao.
      They're called the books of Moses not the books by moses. That's my reasoning. Also the books of Moses cover Moses life literally from before his birth until after his death. Nowhere in there was he spending years authoring some of the greatest writing mankind ever received. He was more busy leading enslaved people to freedom, to the promised land, getting the ten commandments from god on mount Sinai. The books of Moses don't include anything about Moses being a writer, thus I believe the books of Moses were written about him after he passed, and not by him. He isn't the author. Although Many historians might disagree, I respectfully think they're wrong. Many parts of Genisis were written way way way WAY before Moses even existed. So I believe no single story in the bible was written by anyone in the story. They were written by other people in parts and pieces as they documented reality itself, and then assembled in the correct order over centuries. So they're the author's of the documentation of reality which is authored by God himself. So god is the real author and we're meerly the documenters of his story. I believe at least at this moment, that the bible is guided by the hand of the creator, and no single man had any kind of control over the story, rather the story was was already written in how reality of man itself unfolded, and was documented by men, and assembled by other men long after they had died. People can guess who wrote certain books of the bible all they want but few parts if any are directly written by the people in the stories. Many parts are literally what the apostles said verbally, documented by other people, passed down and assembled by totally different people over centuries. Their is no clear authors there. It's the only book written by so many different people documenting what happened that it has so many authors that it's a wonder the story even fits together completely perfectly like it does. It's a miricle in itself with such complexity that the story fits together seamlessly and perfect. Moses couldnt have wrote his own books. Instead many people came together after he died to figure out the stories pieces and to piece them together correctly. Their is only one way the story of salvation fits together without contradicting, they just had to figure it out more than thy were doing any authoring. The story was already written, it was more about documenting the story correctly more than it was actually authoring and inventing the stories. The puzzle only fit one way, they had to discover it more than they did any of it's writing. Most of the bible is people who lived entirely different lives and didn't even know of each other's existence, yet their stories still completely fall in exactly as they are supposed to. That's why the books of the bible have a story and the story was decided and set in stone long before the bible was ever constructed, or the reality behind the stories even happened in the real world. The real writer of the bible knew how it was going to end, before Genisis or the books of Moses were even close to being constructed, or the events of the stories even happened in real life. The only thing that can know the past present and future to the point that it can weave this perfect story over generations, centuries over several different books full of people not even aware of each other, is god because only God exists in the past present and future. Even Moses getting the ten commandments on mount Sinai still effects most of the developed world today as they follow those ten commandments to this day. Their is no way Moses wrote those books because Moses was leading people to the promised land, he wasn't busy writing. Moses alone wouldn't father the law of the entire developed free world thousands of years after he was long gone. It's God that did that. Only God could do that. Their is far too many people involved over centuries in just the construction of Genisis alone for any single man to have control of the story. Thus the story is constructed by man, but the story is written by God. Right at the center of this story written by God and constructed by man, is his son Jesus who was tortured to death after he came to try to save the world. Figures the main character of a book written by God and not Moses is his own son lmao. His own son is smack in the center and it's us killing him.
      I used to think Moses wrote the books even while I was reading them. Then it occured to me while reading the books OF Moses, it didn't say the books BY Moses like every other book in mankinds history who's author is clearly stated. The books of the bible have no clear authors, maybe few parts do from what I can tell MAYBE, but most of the story is guided by God and constructed by man long after the fact. I mean, most of the book is God giving the ten commandments and then destroying every civilization that turns against those commandments. God makes it very clear he is in control of the story, he is the writer of mankinds story and we meerly documented it in the bible. We are meerly the constructors of his story of salvation that we have recorded and documented on paper for people to read.
      Their is no author to the books of Moses because they're quite literally historical documentation. No one sat and brainstormed the story because the story actually happened in reality and the person who made reality okay our the way it did and is, is God as no man can simply author the universes existence and the story of mankind except God. The story was already written by God so their is no authors, only documentary of the story as it was written and played out in reality. That's why Moses didn't write the books about himself. Other people constructed his story after it played out and eventually once the bible started getting pieces together, his piece fit in right where it belonged and was meant to go where god intended it to go before he even spoke the universe into existence. Hallelujah
      Another example would be Abraham in the bible, people on earth here say he fathered the two greatest religions, but in the bible it's God who tells Abraham directly he will be the father of nations, it's all controlled by God.
      The author of the bible is God. Man is meerly the constructors of the story as it was already written and playing out in the real world with real people. And if you read the Bible you'll see it. If you read just Jesus in the books of mathew, mark, luke, and John, you can clearly read Jesus, but if you jump to revelation and then back to Genesis, you'll notice it seems like the same Jesus in Mathew mark Luke and John is the same guy who wrote Genesis, and revelation. The book has many different constructors, but one main author. The entire book is basically penned by Jesus, from cover to cover. God himself is an invisible spirit though, so he can't write the physical book himself, but instead he used mankind to construct his book he wrote for him, and he wrote it for us. That's something a one real and only God would do. The best book that exists for us to read, he wrote for us. that's a loving God if you ask me. He has been setting up the story for an eternity just for us

In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!” This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, frantically hanging on to the notion that everything’s going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. That's true, but he did admit that even though there is a God that created the universe, we don't know which God is the right one for sure such as Allah or the Christian God, I believe both these Gods are and serve the same one fine tuning God but they just have different rules and beliefs for each religion.
      Also, if you really think about it, it just naturally makes sense that there is a creator for our universe and for life because what other theories are there that are as logical or as reasonable as there being a fine tuner like God? God just makes the most sense out of all the theories and it is just the most logical thing to think that the intricately complex world that we human beings live in has a creator. It's just too good to be true if life just came from nothing or from an accident, we weren't born for nothing or came into existence without a creator. If there wasn't a fine tuner of the universe such as God, then all the laws of physics and nature and any laws of the universe wouldn't last too long or as good as they do now. Without God, it would be a miracle to even be alive and last this long in a randomly accidentally created universe. And if we could miraculously survive this long from something such as the Big bang theory and evolution, we could also be taken away from the universe too along with all life, but we've been alive as a human race far too long for it to have been a lucky perfect accident which we are still somehow alive in.

There's meny points for this question and as I've stated before the other point you made is a god of gaps argument. You don't know how we are alive so you're going to assume it's god. Also the argument that if the big bang was even a little off it would collapse back in on itself because this yo can be answered by one question. One of the most popular of the Hot Young Atheist buzzwords is that "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." Yes, but what if we frame the question this way: for 2,000 years, hundreds of millions of human beings, across a wide range of cultures and many religions, have come to acknowledge the reality of Jesus Christ, and have based their lives and eternal fate on him, his message, life, death, and Resurrection.
      So the atheist has to hold that every single one of those people was deceived, deluded, dreaming, indoctrinated, brainwashed and/or insane, and only he and a few others are smart enough to see through the whole imposture.
      Quite an extraordinary claim, that. Where's the extraordinary evidence that you alone are the one who is right? Hundreds and hundreds of millions are shaking you by the shoulders and telling you straight that you are blind, and the thinker in your head is broken. How long can you disagree with all of them?

      I suggest you go far deeper in your study about, maybe your pastor is not the better source to study.
      Just for clarity, there is NOT any evidence of resurrection, there is a lot of evidence that gospels where strigth invented.
      So my assumotion about odin is not only at the same level of your god, but I think is more reliable then your.

      @@IoDavide1Can you point me in the direction of the sources you have about Odin, or that the gospels are fabricated? It seems a fascinating point of discussion.
      Also, my pastor was not my source. Gary Habermas' minimal facts argument won it for me. A few historical facts about Jesus (his death, his followers' sudden and sincere belief in seeing him alive, and the early church's start in Jerusalem who would have the best information about whether Jesus really rose, and the conversion of the previously hostile James and Saul) have not been well explained by any non-Christian theory. So as a disclaimer, I have essentially made up my mind. The evidence is as good as it came in its time.

      @@hyreonk dear friend, it is pointless to point my joke about odin, who is a fantasy being as well as your god.
      About your study, I suggest you to begin reading the bible and reading christian scolars that explain how gospels are one the copy of the other and that are completely sourceless.
      But I know you will not do anything of this, because you dont want anything disturb what you believe.

      for anyone who want to choose to believe in God we can test that anything that has answered prayers around all time little and big desires even it´s not God whatever that exist in nature that give us what we ask it´s a God maybe it´s not a human like we want but that natural law that give us the power to us for miracles to happen it´s God that´s God we have so many proofs that there is imposible to count all the prayers and desires that were fullfill anything that give us that miracles is the God of humanity and if we can´t deny that miracles because prayer we can´t deny the existence of the law atheist just can´t complain about that not always works not that never works so if we know that there is something that giver us miracle there is something that we know that exist that we can call it just God with that simple name

    The arguments for God's existence either contain fallacious reasoning, unsubstantiated premises, false premises, or any combination of the three. Also, arguments are not evidence. When you formulate an argument, even when your premises and logic are sound, you must still test the conclusion, and must directly support it with evidence. That is the difference between philosophy and science. Science tests the conclusion, and requires evidence for the conclusion.

      Yup you cant test any of the ideas that they mentioned so they are useless until that happens and results come to be. We don't even have DNA of the guy let alone any solid evidence he did anything that wacko is telling us he did.

      @@joshsimpsonmusic741 I could say that you’re assuming there isn’t a creator of the universe. That gets us no where though.
      Logically speaking, if something’s been created that means it has to come from something. Before the universe, as far as we know, there was nothing. Which means some entity had to have put this all into motion.

      @@Bryan-gw6bn I’ve never said there isn’t a creator. But the time to posit the existence of something is when we have evidence for what you’re saying. Before the Big Bang could be something that we don’t quite understand. I think the best & most honest answer we can give, in that instance is simply “I don’t know”.

    • @Bryan-gw6bn

      @@joshsimpsonmusic741 I’m not saying I know 100% this is a fact. Intelligent Design is just the best guess I have for the beginning of the universe. As for proof, how would you test something that predates and exists outside of our universe? You’d have to wait for whatever is out there to interact with us.
      Besides, many conclusions can logically be made without hard evidence. Thousands of years ago some people were able to figure out the water cycle. They had no instruments to prove it but they were correct.
      The more I learn about the complexities of the known universe the more I’m sure it had to have some kind of intelligent creator. That’s just me though.
