No, don't be insulting towards another's religion. Rather practice your religion as it should be done. Don't insult and misqoute verses if you don't understand it in the context. There were still many memorizers left after the battle of YAMAMA . Hafsah 'Quran was checked and rechecked against the original memorizers and A new copy was written with the dialectical marks . This was to ensure that NON ARAB Muslims who did not know the Arabic language don't read the Quran wrongly and pass down the wrong recitation and meaning to the following generations. Don't forget that all the 4 caliphs were huffaz(memorizers of the Quran) from the time of the Prophet Muhammad till their own death. Furthermore the Quran was being memorized since the time of the Prophet till this day.. We have about 11 Million Quranic memorizers today conservatively. Hadrat Usman (RA) was a great scholar of the Holy Qur’an and was a “Hafiz”(i.e. the one who commits the whole Holy Book to memory). He was well versed in “Shan-i-Nuzul” i.e. the chronology of revelation of various verses and the chapters of the Holy Qur’an, and was considered an authority in this respect. He was one of the few Companions who excelled in deriving laws from the verses of the Holy Qur’an. He had a beautiful handwriting because of which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) appointed him as one of the scribes of the “Wahy” (Quranic Revelations). His style of writing was well recognized among the Companions of The Prophet Muhammad PBUH. He was among ten blessed companion of Prophet PBUH. The argument by Mr White carries no weitage as he is portraying that Hadrat Usman was an emporer but he failed to deliver the fact that the man himself was an authority on Quran.

Okay, so according to the logic put forth in this video, there are two options for the New Testament: 1) The same exact thing happened with New Testament when only 4 of the more than 40 known gospels were kept as part of the canonical New Testament - it only says that God did not aid the Christians in preserving and maintaining a unified text, but for Muslims, as He promised in the Qur'an, He kept His promise and guarded the Qur'an so that even if some people believe that there are other 'versions' or missing parts, there is no actual evidence to prove this, as there are no verses or surahs that can be found anywhere - it's like a ghost, a bunch of people claim it exists and tell stories about it, but when it comes to hard evidence, there is none. 2) If, as this gentleman says, it is matter of seeking truth/loving truth over being deceived, all of those other gospels (more than 40 that are not part of the New Testament) should be similarly read and compared to the 4 gospels in the New Testament and should be accepted as having truth in them. This would include the Gospel of Thomas, which says that Jesus went to India/the East after crucifixion, the Gospel of Judas, which says that Judas was actually the dearest disciple of Jesus and not accursed, and gospel of Barnabas which says that Jesus told his disciples not to worship him, that he was only a man, not God, and that they should accept Prophet Muhammad when he comes. Take your pick. Also, it is absurd to claim that '99.9999997%' of Muslims have never heard of this. I don't know what kind of Muslims he was referring to in the beginning who acted so surprised when he had told them about it in another instance, but they must have been living under a rock. The history of the compilation of the Qur'an is such a well known subject for Muslims, which should be no surprise seeing as it is clearly described in detail in Sahih Bukhari and other books of Hadith. The fact that he chose these 'variations' verses the apparent variant readings that are present to this day in the Hafs, Doori, Nafi, etc. mus-haf shows just how oblivious this gentleman is. Or maybe its because even those 'variant' readings are not 'variant' by any sense of the word, but merely describe authenticated and accepted forms of reading/pronunciation owing to differing dialects. The example he gives of chapter 3 verse 158 is also very weak, because it would not be grammatically or linguistically correct for the text to read 'laa ila-llahi tuhsharoon' - if the verse were really to say 'you will NOT be gathered unto Allah', it would have been 'ila-llahi LAA tuhsharoon', because the negating of a verb comes before the verb in Arabic, and this is easily discernible from the rest of the Qur'an - 'laa ila-llahi tuhsharoon' would translate as something like 'then it is not to Allah that you will be gathered...' in which case it would require further indication/content to say where, or to whom, you would be gathered instead, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. And maybe it is because there are few (if any) Christians who memorize the bible, but you are under a huge deception if you think for a moment that it is not possible or conceivable to accurately memorize/know with certainty the entire text of the Qur'an, down to the individual vowel inflections. Not only that, it is yet another deception/illusion to think that at the time of the compilation of the Qur'an, there were no more Huffaaz (people who had memorized the entire Qur'an by heart) left - and you are forgetting a very crucial point in this whole issue of compilation of the Qur'an - Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali and Zaid bin Thabit (the one who was tasked with collecting the Qur'an) WERE ALL HUFFAAZ. They all had memorized the Qur'an by heart already during the time of Prophet Muhammad - so simply saying that Zaid had to look for the last verses of Surah Taubah as a way of trying to put into question the preservation of the entirety of the Qur'an is completely useless, because Zaid himself was a hafiz...hence why he himself KNEW that those verses existed, it was only to ensure that it was also kept (both in writing and memory) by another.

The Quran has "Suwar" سور, not all came in order each in different time and location. So when the muslims realized that Quran was written on separate papers and many people who memorized it fully (memorized all papers) they gathered the papers and put them in order to form the known Quran book. Where can we find the original manuscripts of anything from antiquity? We cant, what historians do is reconstruct it with the extent of other manuscripts. By comparing other manuscripts we can build it back almost like a puzzle fitting in where other parts are left out. Not to mention we have first century and second century Church leaders who quoted the gospel, helping us determine what the original was saying. surah 10:94 "And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers." Why would God in his supreme intellect command Muhammad to ask Christians and Jews about there scripture if he knew it was corrupt." Actually the reality is this: Arabic is not like English, it has annotations which change the meanings. An Arabic person of that time does not need the annotation to know the meaning, he just knows the correct word. These annotations were not known to the rapidly expanding Muslim populations with many ethnicity and languages. And so they started producing variations. In order to revert to a standard, Caliph Uthman reproduced the text compiled shortly after the death of prophet Mohammad (which is the best version, and closest that was available). Unlike other sacred texts, it was compiled not a 100 or 1000 years later but rather less than 5 years. The accuracy is further strengthened by confirmation on the the correct version by multiple sources and by the writing of the scribes during Prophet Mohammed's time. And yes, Uthman had to get it right because otherwise he can not remain Caliph. The above fact was conveniently left out in the argument of Dr. James. Another fact: most Muslims know that Caliph Uthman compiled the universal version read today because it can be read correctly and understood by a non arabic person like me. Yet today we can buy more than 30 different Arabic Qurans. And we know that Uthman was required to put the Qurans on paper some 20 years after Mohammed had died. He did that because of 2 main reasons. The first was that too many people who had memorized the Quran has died in battle and the second was that different groups of Muslims recited the Qurans so differently that fights broke out as to who had memorized the Qurans correctly. So just 20 years after Mohammed had died the "excellent memorization" by Arabs had failed completely. And as we can buy more than 30 different Arabic Qurans today we know that the memorization of the Qurans (plural) has not improved.
Documentation is something we can analyze. A dead man’s words, we cannot. The method of transmission the Quran went through is based on memorization which is an extremely flimsy foundation to test the authenticity of the true words of Muhammad. Memorization cannot be perfect. Lol

I am not Muslim but my major is history of religion and I took 3rd year of Islam course. The professor told about the history if Koran and he mentioned Koran cannot be the words exact written from Prophet Muhammad but it is the collection of the texts over a century during Islamic empire. If we read the text we usually find the information of laws and codes in specific matters, not many philosophical wisdom. This text is collection of more political writings then spiritual experience writings.

Every word , number of chapters , name of chapters. Sometimes even letters. Have a numerical cohesion. That if it had been played with. That cohesion would have been lost. yes muslim scholars knows it for century that there are 7 different readings in qur'an that my friend you didn't mentioned once. whayever you have mentioned about burning the Qur'an is absolutely correct he did that because non arabs don't know this and would certainly start fighting on which reading is correct or which isn't ,but both the readings would be correct. its just the difference in between different tribes of arabs in which non arabs would certainly gets confused on. He tells the way the complies the quran somewhat correct but then twist it at the end. Almost everyone memorized the Quran. And there were no discrepancies since there were so many people who had memorized it. The "edit" he is saying is just the way it is written. In Arabic it always matches. There is usmani, Indo pak and some other. But they all have the exact same stuff in it. The translations is different because Arabic can't be translated into English properly. The order of the text doesn't matter, and grammatical changes were only made in translated versions. Words only change in translated versions too. Also Allah swears to protect every single word of the quran. If anyone tries to change anything it can't be done. Arabic looks like other languages too. So when he brings up the stuff on the projector is invalid

The compilation of the quran by Othman and team was done with high degree of sincerity, responsibility and commitment. The team comprises of many still alived hafiz and written copies on the various media. Dr. JW had given the impression as if all Hafiz were dead in the Yamamah war so as to make his allegation more realistic. Actually, The standard copies were carefully written, verified, agreed and endorsed by specially handpicked team members headed by Othman (who himself is a Hafiz) before all earlier various quran sources were officially burnt (destroyed). This was a genius strategy, else, there will be more confusion as many of the early quran sourses came with owners' notes written on various media. Logically othman had done a very good job by having standard and official quran copy. I cant imagine if Othman or none other individual did this job. Of course Dr. JW will be happier if all the earlier quran private copies with private notes on it are still available now. Dr. ZJW can create more convincing lies.
The Quran was Revealed in the dialect of the tribe of the Quraish to which Prophet Muhammed belonged. Original Arabic is without vowel point and as Islam spread to different regions and countries, each one scripted the text according to their own dialects by essentially adding their vowel points resulting in different pronunciation thereby mutilating the language being at variance with the original text that was in the dialect of the Quraish. Just as the word DIVORCE may be pronounced or PROGRAMME be spelled differently by people, the similar case here too. In order to bring uniformity to pronounce the text in its original dialect, all copies of other dialects were eleminated. Thus the Quran was restored to its original form by Caliph Usman.
Some versions of quran were burnt by caliph Uthman and retained only the version which satisfies himself. The Quran now is Uthman quranic Version written in Qurayish.

Is there any scientific evidence that the Quran has not been changed at all? Have you hear children sing a song with a good rhyme? They memorise it very easily if you keep repetitively play the song for the children. Well this is not only happen to children but also to adults, you remember the perfect lyrics of a song not only because the good rhyme they have, but also the emotion, empathy that you got from the content of the lyrics, well the melody sometimes also helps. Now this is the style of the Qur’an, it is easy to memorise not only for children but also for adult, even more easier if you have spiritual and emotional relationship with the statement in it. Nowadays, every devoted muslims definitely memorise some parts of the qur’an. I my self memorise almost 3% of it, just simply with almost no efforts. Why? Because in our daily prayers (3 times a day at least) the leader of the prayer will repeatedly read the qur’an loudly. You might think, that the priest read the bible loudly but we never memorise them easily. That is one of the specialities of the Qur’an, we memorise it so easily. Well of course, some people can memorise much more than others but in general the simple chapter will be so easy to memorise. Right now, some survey found out every single muslim, even if he is clearly not practising muslim, he will definitely will know a person who memorise the qur’an. As the muslims who memorise the qur’an are abundant. Therefore, even if you or we burn all the printed books of the qur’an, it can be reproduced back to the original version and printed again without any problem by recollecting all of the memory of the people who memorise it, and correcting each other if there are differences. This is the way Qur’an is preserved. So the printed version never ever been used by the muslims to preserve the Qur’an. It just printed to help us navigate and learn about it especially for the beginners. While among the people who completely memorise the whole qur’an,they have a strong tradition to recheck (muroja’ah) of their memory of qur’an by read it loudly among themselves and correcting each other for one month each year, which is in the month of ramadhan. This method of preservation is already in place since the beginning of the revelation, the prophet Muhammad will gather all the companions (they are already hundreds of them) to recheck their memory of Qur’an and correcting them if there are something difference or wrong. This is happens in Ramadhan, the whole month dedicated for this every year, for almost 10 years. Meanwhile, many of them are also write it down on pieces that they could get. But none of them wrote the whole qur’an in book, despite from early time Qur’an is already called the kitab (literally means Book). While they feel, it is unnecessary to do that cause most of them memorise the whole qur’an by heart already. However, after the prophet passed away. Abu Bakr fight a war with some groups or arabs, and in several cases many of the people who memorise the qur’an are died. Well, it was recorded around 70s died while many at least hundreds still alive. Umar propose to Abu Bakr to collect all the pieces where qur’an was wrote down as a complete book. Zaid did this Job, and he said (very famously) that this is the last piece where he found only to one person. Remember this is only the piece in written form, while the lyrics it self already memorise by many of them, or if you want to argue, at least the story itself already clear out that at least two person recognize and agree on it, Zaid and the Owner of that piece. English in america, england, scottland, wales, and Ireland are all english but with different dialect. They understand each other in most cases, and the language still quickly and easily exchange between the natives. Qur’an was recited by the prophet in 7 different dialect of arabs. However, Umar did ask Zaid for the second time to rewrite all pieces into one compelling book and write it down in Quraish dialect. Afterwards, Uthman made five copies of that single copy made on the age of Abu Bakr and Umar and spread it out to many areas of the caliphate while instructing any other piece or copies must be destroyed cause it will cause confusion. On this dialect version of qur’an remain with the muslims until today. How about the other dialect? Well we actually still have those qur’an on other dialect, and some of the people that memorise the qur’an they manage to memorise the complete qur’an in those seven dialects. And we know already that there are no significant difference in meaning between those dialects of qur’an. So in the end of the day, I don’t know if all of these stories will provide evidence. Of course there are some extremists, but if you always bring them to discussion then you’ll never finish discuss everything. Lastly, that is the fact, that all muslims has no big disputes about the actual “lyric” of the qur’an and they can reproduce it even if no printed copies left for them to refer to and this way of preservation already in place since the first time qur’an recited.. And There's an estimate of more than 150 million people who have memorized Quran completely and our 6 years old kid memorized even though his language is not Arabic. Your bible scriptures have more than 70 books and The Bible has been translated from Greek manuscripts. While the translation may be excellent, there is a problem: what are the limits of interpretation or interpolation of the translation compared to the limitations in the Greek, then to Aramaic?Since the Bible is not in the language that Jesus spoke, there has been human intervention in the Bible and it's changed. Hear me out. There is convincing evidence that the quran hasn’t been tampered with for at least 300 years, so then why the hell was it able to refer to new scientific discoveries of a less than a few decades ago. Also the morals and teachings in the Quran are far more inline with human nature than any other religion. 1. He failed to mention why anyone would want to change the message during compilation instead of writing the original message. What did Uthman stand to gain?

4. As for the variations in recitation, the Qur'an was revealed in Arabic and the Bedouins at that time had 7 dialects. Hence the slight variations in pronunciations of some words (still same meaning by the way). FYI: The Qur'an is still recited in those dialects even till TODAY! (Guess he didn't know that).

There were still many memorizers left after the battle of YAMAMA . Hafsah 'Quran was checked and rechecked against the original memorizers and A new copy was written with the dialectical marks . This was to ensure that NON ARAB Muslims who did not know the Arabic language don't read the Quran wrongly and pass down the wrong recitation and meaning to the following generations. Don't forget that all the 4 caliphs were huffaz(memorizers of the Quran) from the time of the Prophet Muhammad till their own death. Furthermore the Quran was being memorized since the time of the Prophet till this day.. We have about 11 Million Quranic memorizers today conservatively. We also have several verified authentic manuscripts that date back to the time of the Prophet.

Hadrat Usman (RA) was a great scholar of the Holy Qur’an and was a “Hafiz”(i.e. the one who commits the whole Holy Book to memory). He was well versed in “Shan-i-Nuzul” i.e. the chronology of revelation of various verses and the chapters of the Holy Qur’an, and was considered an authority in this respect. He was one of the few Companions who excelled in deriving laws from the verses of the Holy Qur’an. He had a beautiful handwriting because of which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) appointed him as one of the scribes of the “Wahy” (Quranic Revelations).
His style of writing was well recognized among the Companions of The Prophet Muhammad PBUH. He was among ten blessed companion of Prophet PBUH. The argument by Mr White carries no weitage as he is portraying that Hadrat Usman was an emporer but he failed to deliver the fact that the man himself was an authority on Quran.

Okay, so according to the logic put forth in this video, there are two options for the New Testament:
1) The same exact thing happened with New Testament when only 4 of the more than 40 known gospels were kept as part of the canonical New Testament - it only says that God did not aid the Christians in preserving and maintaining a unified text, but for Muslims, as He promised in the Qur'an, He kept His promise and guarded the Qur'an so that even if some people believe that there are other 'versions' or missing parts, there is no actual evidence to prove this, as there are no verses or surahs that can be found anywhere - it's like a ghost, a bunch of people claim it exists and tell stories about it, but when it comes to hard evidence, there is none.
2) If, as this gentleman says, it is matter of seeking truth/loving truth over being deceived, all of those other gospels (more than 40 that are not part of the New Testament) should be similarly read and compared to the 4 gospels in the New Testament and should be accepted as having truth in them. This would include the Gospel of Thomas, which says that Jesus went to India/the East after crucifixion, the Gospel of Judas, which says that Judas was actually the dearest disciple of Jesus and not accursed, and gospel of Barnabas which says that Jesus told his disciples not to worship him, that he was only a man, not God, and that they should accept Prophet Muhammad when he comes.

Also, it is absurd to claim that '99.9999997%' of Muslims have never heard of this. I don't know what kind of Muslims he was referring to in the beginning who acted so surprised when he had told them about it in another instance, but they must have been living under a rock. The history of the compilation of the Qur'an is such a well known subject for Muslims, which should be no surprise seeing as it is clearly described in detail in Sahih Bukhari and other books of Hadith. The fact that he chose these 'variations' verses the apparent variant readings that are present to this day in the Hafs, Doori, Nafi, etc. mus-haf shows just how oblivious this gentleman is. Or maybe its because even those 'variant' readings are not 'variant' by any sense of the word, but merely describe authenticated and accepted forms of reading/pronunciation owing to differing dialects.
The example he gives of chapter 3 verse 158 is also very weak, because it would not be grammatically or linguistically correct for the text to read 'laa ila-llahi tuhsharoon' - if the verse were really to say 'you will NOT be gathered unto Allah', it would have been 'ila-llahi LAA tuhsharoon', because the negating of a verb comes before the verb in Arabic, and this is easily discernible from the rest of the Qur'an - 'laa ila-llahi tuhsharoon' would translate as something like 'then it is not to Allah that you will be gathered...' in which case it would require further indication/content to say where, or to whom, you would be gathered instead, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
And maybe it is because there are few (if any) Christians who memorize the bible, but you are under a huge deception if you think for a moment that it is not possible or conceivable to accurately memorize/know with certainty the entire text of the Qur'an, down to the individual vowel inflections. Not only that, it is yet another deception/illusion to think that at the time of the compilation of the Qur'an, there were no more Huffaaz (people who had memorized the entire Qur'an by heart) left - and you are forgetting a very crucial point in this whole issue of compilation of the Qur'an - Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali and Zaid bin Thabit (the one who was tasked with collecting the Qur'an) WERE ALL HUFFAAZ. They all had memorized the Qur'an by heart already during the time of Prophet Muhammad - so simply saying that Zaid had to look for the last verses of Surah Taubah as a way of trying to put into question the preservation of the entirety of the Qur'an is completely useless, because Zaid himself was a hafiz...hence why he himself KNEW that those verses existed, it was only to ensure that it was also kept (both in writing and memory) by another.

Therefore you wont find any happily ever afters and these kind of things. Words do repeat many times - if you read surah Arrahman for example, you will see the purpose of reapeted words without me needing to explain it, its a really short surah, definitely check it out.

I suppose you say "revealed" according to surah 5:46 which states that Jesus was given the Gospel by allah .
1. Jesus Christ, historically was Jewish and spoke Aramaic and Hebrew for religious purposes. He spoke to His disciples in these two languages, and after His recorded crucifixion(Nearly every scholar of antiquity: Believer or not believes Jesus was killed by crucifixion.) these same disciples were martyred for there testimony of Jesus' resurrection. Two of the disciples who learned straight from the source (Jesus himself) wrote an account of what Jesus had done back in the early first century. They claimed that He had done miracles, been born of a virgin, is/was the Word of God, killed by crucifixion, and had been resurrected three days later.
2. Where can we find the original manuscripts of anything from antiquity? We cant, what historians do is reconstruct it with the extent of other manuscripts. By comparing other manuscripts we can build it back almost like a puzzle fitting in where other parts are left out. Not to mention we have first century and second century Church leaders who quoted the gospel, helping us determine what the original was saying.
surah 10:94 "And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers." Why would God in his supreme intellect command Muhammad to ask Christians and Jews about there scripture if he knew it was corrupt." Clearly the author of the Quran believed the Bible was in authority over the Quran.

Actually the reality is this: Arabic is not like English, it has annotations which change the meanings. An Arabic person of that time does not need the annotation to know the meaning, he just knows the correct word. These annotations were not known to the rapidly expanding Muslim populations with many ethnicity and languages. And so they started producing variations.
In order to revert to a standard, Caliph Uthman reproduced the text compiled shortly after the death of prophet Mohammad (which is the best version, and closest that was available). Unlike other sacred texts, it was compiled not a 100 or 1000 years later but rather less than 5 years. The accuracy is further strengthened by confirmation on the the correct version by multiple sources and by the writing of the scribes during Prophet Mohammed's time. And yes, Uthman had to get it right because otherwise he can not remain Caliph.
The above fact was conveniently left out in the argument of Dr. James.
Another fact: most Muslims know that Caliph Uthman compiled the universal version read today because it can be read correctly and understood by a non arabic person like me.

The first was that too many people who had memorized the Quran has died in battle and the second was that different groups of Muslims recited the Qurans so differently that fights broke out as to who had memorized the Qurans correctly. So just 20 years after Mohammed had died the "excellent memorization" by Arabs had failed completely. And as we can buy more than 30 different Arabic Qurans today we know that the memorization of the Qurans (plural) has not improved.
Documentation is something we can analyze. A dead man’s words, we cannot. The method of transmission the Quran went through is based on memorization which is an extremely flimsy foundation to test the authenticity of the true words of Muhammad. Memorization cannot be perfect. Lol

I am not Muslim but my major is history of religion and I took 3rd year of Islam course. The professor told about the history if Koran and he mentioned Koran cannot be the words exact written from Prophet Muhammad but it is the collection of the texts over a century during Islamic empire. If we read the text we usually find the information of laws and codes in specific matters, not many philosophical wisdom. This text is collection of more political writings then spiritual experience writings.

He tells the way the complies the quran somewhat correct but then twist it at the end. Almost everyone memorized the Quran. And there were no discrepancies since there were so many people who had memorized it. The "edit" he is saying is just the way it is written. In Arabic it always matches. There is usmani, Indo pak and some other. But they all have the exact same stuff in it. The translations is different because Arabic can't be translated into English properly. The order of the text doesn't matter, and grammatical changes were only made in translated versions. Words only change in translated versions too. Also Allah swears to protect every single word of the quran. If anyone tries to change anything it can't be done. Arabic looks like other languages too. So when he brings up the stuff on the projector is invalid

The compilation of the quran by Othman and team was done with high degree of sincerity, responsibility and commitment. The team comprises of many still alived hafiz and written copies on the various media. Dr. JW had given the impression as if all Hafiz were dead in the Yamamah war so as to make his allegation more realistic.
Actually, The standard copies were carefully written, verified, agreed and endorsed by specially handpicked team members headed by Othman (who himself is a Hafiz) before all earlier various quran sources were officially burnt (destroyed). This was a genius strategy, else, there will be more confusion as many of the early quran sourses came with owners' notes written on various media.
Logically othman had done a very good job by having standard and official quran copy. I cant imagine if Othman or none other individual did this job.

The Quran was Revealed in the dialect of the tribe of the Quraish to which Prophet Muhammed belonged. Original Arabic is without vowel point and as Islam spread to different regions and countries, each one scripted the text according to their own dialects by essentially adding their vowel points resulting in different pronunciation thereby mutilating the language being at variance with the original text that was in the dialect of the Quraish. Just as the word DIVORCE may be pronounced or PROGRAMME be spelled differently by people, the similar case here too. In order to bring uniformity to pronounce the text in its original dialect, all copies of other dialects were eleminated. Thus the Quran was restored to its original form by Caliph Usman.
Some versions of quran were burnt by caliph Uthman and retained only the version which satisfies himself. The Quran now is Uthman quranic Version written in Qurayish.

Have you hear children sing a song with a good rhyme? They memorise it very easily if you keep repetitively play the song for the children. Well this is not only happen to children but also to adults, you remember the perfect lyrics of a song not only because the good rhyme they have, but also the emotion, empathy that you got from the content of the lyrics, well the melody sometimes also helps.
Now this is the style of the Qur’an, it is easy to memorise not only for children but also for adult, even more easier if you have spiritual and emotional relationship with the statement in it. Nowadays, every devoted muslims definitely memorise some parts of the qur’an. I my self memorise almost 3% of it, just simply with almost no efforts. Why? Because in our daily prayers (3 times a day at least) the leader of the prayer will repeatedly read the qur’an loudly. You might think, that the priest read the bible loudly but we never memorise them easily. That is one of the specialities of the Qur’an, we memorise it so easily. Well of course, some people can memorise much more than others but in general the simple chapter will be so easy to memorise.
Right now, some survey found out every single muslim, even if he is clearly not practising muslim, he will definitely will know a person who memorise the qur’an. As the muslims who memorise the qur’an are abundant. Therefore, even if you or we burn all the printed books of the qur’an, it can be reproduced back to the original version and printed again without any problem by recollecting all of the memory of the people who memorise it, and correcting each other if there are differences. This is the way Qur’an is preserved. So the printed version never ever been used by the muslims to preserve the Qur’an. It just printed to help us navigate and learn about it especially for the beginners.
While among the people who completely memorise the whole qur’an,they have a strong tradition to recheck (muroja’ah) of their memory of qur’an by read it loudly among themselves and correcting each other for one month each year, which is in the month of ramadhan.
This method of preservation is already in place since the beginning of the revelation, the prophet Muhammad will gather all the companions (they are already hundreds of them) to recheck their memory of Qur’an and correcting them if there are something difference or wrong. This is happens in Ramadhan, the whole month dedicated for this every year, for almost 10 years.
Meanwhile, many of them are also write it down on pieces that they could get. But none of them wrote the whole qur’an in book, despite from early time Qur’an is already called the kitab (literally means Book). While they feel, it is unnecessary to do that cause most of them memorise the whole qur’an by heart already.
However, after the prophet passed away. Abu Bakr fight a war with some groups or arabs, and in several cases many of the people who memorise the qur’an are died. Well, it was recorded around 70s died while many at least hundreds still alive. Umar propose to Abu Bakr to collect all the pieces where qur’an was wrote down as a complete book. Zaid did this Job, and he said (very famously) that this is the last piece where he found only to one person. Remember this is only the piece in written form, while the lyrics it self already memorise by many of them, or if you want to argue, at least the story itself already clear out that at least two person recognize and agree on it, Zaid and the Owner of that piece.
English in america, england, scottland, wales, and Ireland are all english but with different dialect. They understand each other in most cases, and the language still quickly and easily exchange between the natives. Qur’an was recited by the prophet in 7 different dialect of arabs. However, Umar did ask Zaid for the second time to rewrite all pieces into one compelling book and write it down in Quraish dialect. Afterwards, Uthman made five copies of that single copy made on the age of Abu Bakr and Umar and spread it out to many areas of the caliphate while instructing any other piece or copies must be destroyed cause it will cause confusion.
On this dialect version of qur’an remain with the muslims until today. How about the other dialect? Well we actually still have those qur’an on other dialect, and some of the people that memorise the qur’an they manage to memorise the complete qur’an in those seven dialects. And we know already that there are no significant difference in meaning between those dialects of qur’an.
So in the end of the day, I don’t know if all of these stories will provide evidence. Of course there are some extremists, but if you always bring them to discussion then you’ll never finish discuss everything. Lastly, that is the fact, that all muslims has no big disputes about the actual “lyric” of the qur’an and they can reproduce it even if no printed copies left for them to refer to and this way of preservation already in place since the first time qur’an recited..
And There's an estimate of more than 150 million people who have memorized Quran completely and our 6 years old kid memorized even though his language is not Arabic. Your bible scriptures have more than 70 books and The Bible has been translated from Greek manuscripts.

Hear me out. There is convincing evidence that the quran hasn’t been tampered with for at least 300 years, so then why the hell was it able to refer to new scientific discoveries of a less than a few decades ago. Also the morals and teachings in the Quran are far more inline with human nature than any other religion. I feel like 2000 years later we can’t figure out any exact history from the scraps of info we have but we can judge for ourselves what’s right.

Both before Council of Nicea 325 a.d.
both were held against Beryllus, the local bishop, and his followers, who believed that the soul perished upon the death of the body, but that it would one day rise with the body.
