Daphne, that has been a lovely series of videos and it's not over yet.
I've subscribed to catch future episodes.
I don't know that part of Europe but it certainly looks lovely.
I'm 80 now so don't tour so living your experience is wonderful.
I've lived in France for 20 years and cycle everyday but the heat last year was a challenge. We got caught in it on a three day trip, part by bike and managing the last 20 miles from the station to home in 40° was tough. I've never before felt as hot as this.
Thanks for taking the trouble to film and edit these videos and for sharing.
Also to Frank for appearing in so many action shots.😀
You have a very soothing accent and I get hints of Ireland in it. Thanks once again.

Thanks for your lovely comment Colin. Great to hear you're still cycling at 80, good for you. So glad you've enjoyed following our journey Yes that heat sure drains your energy, can't have been any fun riding in 40. I look forward to sharing a couple more episodes with you very soon as we head towards Italy! Cheers!

Wow, you get to see so much more on a bike. However, I can't tolerate a 24°C ride on my bike without peeling off my shirt. Good on you both that you can endure that 34°C heat.

Thank you again for the video. Looking at it, I see the reason why I love cycling (speed, holiday and everyday use). On a bike you' re lesse a tourist, you are really discovering. I am not the man for a " mancave", but my shed is a kind of " bikecave" (my wife and I got six bikes) . One question. Is the new matrass a good one??? Have a nice day!!!

Curious as to how you packed your bikes back up for your return flight. I'm assuming you obtained a cardboard box from a local bike shop or shipping company at the end of your journey.

You're quite right - we did get boxes from a bike shop at the end of the trip. It was made a lot easier for us though as we had extra time at the end of the ride and had a rental car for a few days, so getting the boxes was made a lot easier. More about that in an upcoming episode!

i enjoyed the serie a lot up to here.......thanks for sharing all that........good thing you did not wait for the idiot to order you new cranck barings, the sound you thought to come from there, was probably the first sign of your paddle giving up 🙄
