Agree that it’s awkward to get the batteries in. Have the same batteries and mounted then vertical instead of flat like you did. Seems weird.

If it’s built with spektrum then the spektrum batteries should no doubt fit or at least look like they accommodated those batteries to sit in the tray properly. But they clearly didn’t. I’m not a fan of batteries sitting in the side. They never take chassis claps well that way
