- I had to post this after witnessing one of the best bands ever, dead kennedys with one of the best franchises ever, scott pilgrim!!! There's also United States of Whatever
In this universe the paparazzi don’t only wanna ruin your life, they legit wanna take it from you.
I would like to note the Chris Evans' contribution to Lucas Lee is insane. In the Comics, Lucas lee had the least amount of Characterisation and Chris Evans' Smug version of Lucas was legitemately an amazing take as he added so much character to Lucas during the Movie and they obviously extended that in the series.
as someone who lived off of Tony Hawk Pro Skater games, this scene was an ABSOLUTE treat.

I don't even wanna imagine the amount of weeks or months it must've taken to animate a scene like this
It's still so weird to me we live in a world where Capt America is a legit anime dub actor.
One thing I really like about the series is how much they show just how nuts the world of Scott pilgrim is, like the movie and the comics give us a taste but the series turns it up to 11
As a huge Scott Pilgrim, Pro Skater and Dead Kennedys fan, this was absolutely glorious

You know it’s good when you can’t even tell if the ninjas are CGI or not
You can tell this sat in the head of whoever did the storyboard for a very long time. Every detail syncs with the music perfectly and of course, THPS!
Reasons Lucas Lee is my favorite character:
I didn't expect the plot to be so wholesome
When the Tony Hawk Pro Skater Track Drops ... It was freaking perfect. Give whoever chose it a raise right now
Everyone involved in the animation did such a good job, definetly one of the best animated shows of this year, and not only because of the animation because everything else was also top notch, I loved how the exes had more screen time and development :)
I love how his effort sounds are very "game-y" here. They're so dramatic and I love it.
I think I am befuddled by the existence of a ninja paparazzi army than the sheer awesome this Lee skater showed... especially when the ninjas won through attrition and ninja craziness!!!!!
