Traffic Reporter Calls Out Body Shamer on Live TV

- Right in the middle of a live broadcast, a news reporter called at a viewer who body-shamed her via email. Leslie Horton is a traffic reporter for Global News Calgary in Canada. Last year, she took time off to undergo treatment for endometrial cancer. Horton says the email was meant to intimidate, humiliate, shame her and make her feel bad about her body. “This is what women of my age look like, so if it is offensive to you, that is unfortunate,” she says.
If you have time to send a reporter an email criticizing their looks then you have way to much time on your hands. What a horrible use of time and energy!
More like their life has to be so sad and depressing that they need to send evil to others so they can feel good about themselves

I love this ! My husband always tells me that confidence is the sexiest thing a woman can wear. I think this goes to anyone make or female. She’s beautiful to begin with regardless of age but her confidence really just makes it 💖

That person who sent the email just showed the world who she really is. It also is a reflection of the emails upbringing and I’d like to think that persons parents raised their child better than this.

It’s extremely sad people have to body shame someone else who they don’t even know what they’re going through or what they’ve even been through in their lives but to use social media to make fun of someone is even more disgraceful it just shows that they’re just pure cowards and wouldn’t even dare say something like that face to face with someone else

But think of it this way: people who go through the effort to email you with derogatory content, have a huge self esteem issue, they can only feel good about themselves when they hurt other people. The reporter was awesome, and if the insecure viewer has an issue, he/she can change the channel, and continue to be mad at everyone for not looking as perfect as he/she wants them to look (because, you know, it's all about him/her).
