my coach was never like this. my team and i were very new to volleyball and i think she didn’t like that she got stuck coaching a group of girls that had no prior experience. she hardly even did the bare minimum to help us get better lol
What our coach taught us was not to overcomplicate things. Generally, with a standard set, start 3 step approach when the setter already has the ball... start your 4 step or even 5 step approach when the ball is still going to the setter. Which is why as soon as guy in red said to start 4 step approach when he is about to toss, i immediately knew dude was gonna be late in spiking because he started his 3 step late because he made the initial step in the 4 step during the toss instead of before the toss(before ball is in setter's hands). Knowing this has made learning to spike different types of set much easier for me
I feel it would be better to try a 3 step approach because it’s much easier and is a faster process than 4 with him also having to jump and hit to ball But also put him closer because behind the 3m line seems just ok for about a 4 step but that’s me.
Is it faster If i do a full swing with a flick Or is just a flick faster because I do a full swing with a flick which hinders my hitting height but allows me to have controll of the ball while having enough power
I need a Coach like you 😢
@user-vu6bm1pe5s I think it's a matter of listening to the coach.

I need a coach who knows that only 3 steps matter 🥺

To make it simpliar just don't move until the setter touches the ball...once setter touches the ball you sprint.
Is it bad if I do right, left right
I wish my coach could teach this way
Nice coaching!
bro looked like me at the beginning i need to try this
