@@Arthr0 Didn't realize my reply to OP was basically what you said cause ive been drinking lol
Moral:- be a criminal
Zeki really changed their style, the way they act and more...what a great man.
12:36 The morale is, life fucked him hard so he didn't get his chance at first. The German school system pretty much railroads you into one of three fundamentally different paths at a very early age, often before it's even clear how gifted a child truly is and once you're set, your future is pretty much decided (although up- and downgrades are not unheard of). To become a teacher you are usually required to pass the highest tier of High School and then pursue a degree in teaching. Even if he managed to find his purpose earlier it's likely Zeki never would have had that chance.
Through his "internship" he proved he is qualified to teach even despite lacking the formal requirements. Since at his age, pursuing what Americans know as a G.E.D. would have been too late, the principal decided she would give him the formal base to start pursuing a career in education. It's also not like he would be able to start a full-time teaching career on a High School Diploma alone. But it would get him accepted into University to pursue a teaching degree, enabling him to return to the school as a substitute teacher, becoming full-time employed after graduation.
That's the problem with many European and Asian model of education, the future is decided for children when they are 6-7ish
@@somedude0921 You see many sports or musical experts are already in a wealthy family because they have the luxury to find out their talents, learning a musical instrument is expensive.

While these kinds of movies follow the same formula with a few things added and taken away i just love them. If you want to know the formula it's "A teacher (mostly a new one) is sent to be the teacher of the bad kids. At the start the students get under the teacher's skin and they consider quitting or moving, but something clicks and makes them not want to move. The teacher finds something to connect to the students, or show the consequence of their actions, and it results in them turning their life around. They end up doing something fantastic with the new dreams and futures they want. Something happens with the teacher, but the students will usually come to get their teacher back or become great people from the lessons they have learned." a long read but its how most movies like are. And i just love it. This movie like a lot (even though ive only seen this video and dont speak whatever language that is) since it shows education isnt always in the form of a diploma.
I like the part where he take the students into a drug dealer house as an education tour. I believe something similar needs to be done for each of the subject be it arts or science stream. If i ever become a teacher and got the opportunity to do it I will planned like this.

As a German, I am devastated to find out they changed the name in English. In the German version it is called “Fack ju Göhte” so it’s basically “Fuck you Goethe” but written like a German who can’t speak English. Which makes a lot more sense given that the school in this film is named after Goethe.

The moral on the principle forging zeky a diploma is that we give way too much power and weight on insignificant pieces of paper that says a letter or a few words.
Many people are capable and even more capable for certain jobs then the people who are supposedly qualified for them but they aren't able to have the chance to do those jobs simply because they don't have a piece of paper that apparently decides an entire person's ability to do a job or not.
That's not just a piece of paper bro.maybe for those who gradauted as easy going like highschooler but not for those who invested sweat and tears just for that piece of paper you are saying.

Zeki simply knew the lesson about life.
Most of the time it's valuable than some measly education
"then finds out his salary will be 2000 euros"
Jesus Christ, Teachers are under paid.... well most of Europe is pretty poorly paid.
Not being 'Murican here, just extremely Norwegian where that would be considered a 16-18 year old pay.
My brother tried moving to France for a while, every day he had to wear a suit earning around 1500-1600, his boss a regional manager for Sixt was barely earning more then I did working as a cashier in Norway.
Everybody says that "yeah but Norway is so expensive", but it really isn't, phones, cars, TVs cost the same, electricity (in the north) is extremely cheap, the only expensive thing is food, and services that require personnel... because our work force is getting paid a living wage, not a survival wage.
Now as an assistant manager I make about €4200, rent+phone+internet is €940 (fixed), food €354 (varies), so I'm left with €1400 each month as spending money for misc.
I wouldn't say it's expensive, that 1400 can easily be spent if I want to spend it on leisure things and restaurants that's for sure, but over all most of my monthly needs aren't that expensive.
Well 2k is considered much in germany. Also if you paid everything off probably a normal guy in germany will have maybe 900 left if you dont life in a millionair mansion also im kinda dumb its like much if you have that much after the bills well........
@@bigmaxmer1556
lol yeah I mean in a way Norway is a bit expensive, rent and food is about the same as for Europe if you use a budget (slightly more expensive for fruits and veggies), but services cost a butt load!
When ever I'm in Europe I always stay away from restaurants/entertainment during the first few days because I have Norwegian PTSD for the prices, but after adjusting I feel like Mr. Peanut
"should we eat out today?"
"Oh yes, here let me take care of the bill... [fork out €100 for a party of 7 people] exquisite! 🧐shall we continue the evening M'ladies"
But then again, some people I know pay more in just rent and kindergarten then what I make in a month after tax...
2000€ is also not the salary of a normal teacher. thats just because hes a substitute at a shitty school. usually teachers start at around 4000€

All that effort, drugging her, copying the paper. And this principal just has a neat sheet of certificate ready to be forged for literally anyone in her desk? Wow
It's a blank diploma. She just filled in his name, made up an issue date that would make sense regarding his age, entered the grades, printed, stamped, signed and done. The same way your Diploma was likely made. And iirc she wasn't too outlandish on the grades either as she made his Abitur passing grade a 2.9 which would be comparable to an American High School GPA of 2.1. Not a masterpiece but certainly not a failing grade either.
