Noob question how did you make the street look wet? Is it some sort of noise texture plugged into the roughness?

Haha thanks 😂 it's a PBR setup using a few different texture maps. The roughness one has a lot of contrast which means some bits will look like a normal road and some bits will be really reflective which makes it look like puddles

Thanks! I'm afraid not. I don't do any exclusive tutorials on Patreon. I like them to be free on here so everyone can access them. I do have the VFX mentor tier though. If you really want to see more about it you could go with that and we could have a 1 to 1 session about how I did it

I love your work. but I will prefer a step-by-step tutorial that is more simplified. I think it's only professionals that can understand what you are doing. but all in all, you are good.
I will need to look up other tutorials before fully understanding your own.

Thank you! I totally understand what you mean. Unfortunately, for me to simplify all of this into step by step sections would be hours of videos and I really don't enjoy making them that slowly. It would also take a lot more of my time. I prefer to spend the time making the fun videos and doing quicker breakdowns
