The last Boeing 747 is currently being assembled. It will be a Boeing 747-8F for Atlas Air

Hopefully they still continue flying for a long time :)

They will fly for a long time
Of course, like the McDonnell Douglas

It’s really sad to hear that the last 747 is releasing. Truly the heart of Aviation.

@@oscargregory5490 i think it was after that incident of the tenerife disaster so i think the panam company is scared to lose another plane in the same location as the tenerife disaster in 1997

I remember when I took a 747-400 when I was 9 years old. Today, It stills the most majestic thing I've ever seen.
@Tim😎 It was British airways, from London Heathrow to JFK.
I flew on four of them back in probably around 2004 or 2005. I was either 19 or 20. I flew with United Airlines from Philadelphia to Bangkok Thailand and two of the legs each way were 747-400's. From San Francisco to Tokyo, Tokyo to Bangkok, Bangkok to Tokyo, and Tokyo to Chicago. The legs from San Francisco and Chicago to Philadelphia were likely 757's back then. Not positive what they were. But I remember the 747s. We were in coach in the very very back on the way out. Almost the last row in the middle. They were stunning airplanes and it's sad that the major airlines aren't flying them all over Asia with passenger service like they were back then. When I was in Los Angeles in 2005 for a vacation at the airport renting a car, they were flying directly overhead landing, and every few planes were an enormous 747. Korean air, British airways, china, united, qantas, all coming in directly overhead. I could have stood there all day and watched them.
@@kona702 Wow nice😃, I can also pass my whole day watching them and if they were still in production, I would have passed my whole life piloting them.
@Tim😎 That's an amazing experience. It is sad that the Jumbo Jet is getting retired but maybe at the time when no 747 will fly, we will be able to try the supersonic experience with the new Overture plane.😎
If you want to still fly with a 747, Lufthansa still fly 8 of them.

When I was younger, I loved airplanes and ngl I still do. The 747 was my favorite because of its 4 engines and iconic hump. Sadly I have never flown in one, however I have flown in an A-380 which is my current favorite plane. This truly brings me sadness and the 747 will always hold a place in my heart.

Hey guys,The Last 747 Was The 747-8F Atlas air Cargo 😢
If you've never flown in one, it's like flying a building, so big, graceful and majestic.
Absolutely loved flying on the four I was on with united. Probably about 17 or 18 years ago now in 2004 or 2005. Back when there were still tons of them in the air for passenger service. Along with the MD-11 and DC-10. The MD-11/DC-10 is my favorite plane, followed by the 747-400, followed by the 707, then the DC8 close behind the 707.

When transporting the last 747, the pilot took the plane on random spins. If you check the radar tho, those random spins werent random. It was making a drawing of the 747 having a crown to represent the queen of the skies.
I think I’m the only one who knows this, but actually the 747 and the Concord is gonna come back, but the Concord is gonna have a new model.
I don’t think the concords will ever come back sadly. Too expensive to fly

They do have a form of MCAS on the -8…just no 3rd world country flew them.
The Boeing 747 is a 4 jet engine widebody airliner, and it is very legendary. This aircraft is the 3rd biggest plane, and the USAF (United States Air Force) owns their own Boeing 747. I can't remember the name of it but the call sign is The Air Force One. Many airlines have retired this aircraft, like Qantas did in this video. Only a few airlines still own this plane, such as Luthansa, maybe KLM and British Airways. This plane is nicknamed "The Queen of The Skies" beacuse of its large size. R.I.P the Boeing 747. The flight number of the Qantas last 747 is Qantas 74.
Fun fact: the 747 is still in the skys but retired from carrying passengers
it outlived every competitor, it even beat the A380 which is like 36 years younger lol

I’ve been trying to find this comment 💀
I watched a short about a 6-yr old boy whose dream is to become a pilot and fly the Airbus A380, I hope that plane will still be in service by the time he gets his pilot license. 😊
Lufthansa and Korean Air: Not so fast! We are here!
Boeing 747s will stay in our hearts😢😭
Hopefully theyre gonna make more ;)
Its impossible as the 747 is over 50 years old
@@theBomb1423so? The Boeing 737 is 56 years old yet they are still mass produced. Thats not why they stopped building it
@@UnitedAirlinesDC10Jumbos like the 747 are really not needed anymore. Only some fly as cargo, or lufthansa as passengers. Good thing lufthansa will retire em
Some airlines still operate Boeing 747 like Lufthansa

Imagine Boeing just decided to just produce the 747 again it would be chaos at the destination
Rest In Peace 747☹️

Don't be sad because it's over. Smile because it happened
If I ever get to make an airline, I hope I can convince Boeing to continue their old planes (707,717,727,747,757) for my fleet. That is a dream that I have.
They should put a big a crown on the top of one then decorate it as a queen for the celebration
Better ( and now just a farewell party) but all the models flying together as a especial moment)
LOL YOUR MOM
Maybe they should remove 747 bolts in random areas of the plane and have pilots guess what’s wrong with the planes!
For some reason I think it would be a good idea to use any 747s in good condition into mini hotels and put them around Boeing factories
I’ll cry when the day comes 😭
I love this plane I hope Microsoft keeps it in the next flight simulator
The boeing 747 is still alive like I saw it Korean airlines

You can tell who isn’t in the aviation industry…as no one calls it the queen…we call it the whale.
Judging who is knowledgeable and who isn’t by their opinion is the craziest wannabe special behavior
@@simpilot001 not opinion though…thinking commercial flights can cancel the IFR whenever and do it all the time is wanna be special behavior.
@@vito774 Most airlines don’t allow it in a lot of scenarios, but to make it clear I was not talking about major airlines, which Is probably where the confusion was coming from. Commercial flights extend to all airlines, not just major carriers.
