The holes arent to reduce weight, its for the cushion to expand better and to reduce chances of the outsole rubber to tear just like what happened to the first iteration of westbrook.
I'm also pretty sure the insole is polyurethane, which is supposed to mold to your foot over time.

@@Kevin-mm8go Those aren’t PU insoles PU insoles are what’s in the Jordan 11 Cool Grays Nike almost never uses PU insoles in there BB shoes for some reason. Those are the same Mold to your Feet insoles in the Kobe 6 & KD 14s last year they’re also in the GT jump these are actually better than PU insoles when paired with a zoom strobal unit right under your foot. Basically those insoles are going to mold to your feet and the zoom strobal both over time.

Excited about these. KDs have been pretty consistent for a while.
the insole is the same as the past 2 KD models, and the kobe 6 protro, it's the type that molds to your foot, but requires a few weeks of break in time

Those look like the Kobe 6/kd14 insoles. They mold to your foot so it’s like a perfect anatomical fit inside the shoe.
These are the best looking kds imo. Kobe vibes but its very refreshing and looks like it can be worn casually. A must cop. I'm excited to see the colorways for these!

I really hope that they will release the simple black-white cw that leaked first.
I just pray that the resale industry doesn’t devour this shoe, and that it can be found in most sizes for retail across most color ways.

The “plastic-y” insole is actually the same one they’ve been using since the KD 13. It’s supposed to be like the Kobe 6’s insole which molds to ur foot and gets way better with usage.

Can’t decide between these and Jordan 36 low. That insole is same as other KD models and Kobe 6. Molds to your foot, it’s actually super nice.

Maybe that extra rubber lip at the back is for preventing too much compression for KD ( cause that might lead to another achillies injury)

I recommend this comment to those ones who wanna dig zoom + react. Shoe exist with this setup, but not with zoom strobel, only with 'regular' air zoom (I don't think it is big difference between normal zoom and zoom strobel). It's the KD11.

what would u recommend, these or the pg6…ig it would probably come down to preference but what do u think…i currently own the kd14s and love them, traction is insane
its the same formula as the last shoe it'll be a banger. p.s. can we get a points system or something for the upcoming shoes cuz these reviews are getting very vague.......and can you get the signature finger flick back into the intros, those used to be hella dope
also those are foot molding insoles. they aint comfy outta the box, but feel great once they break in
I haven't really liked may KD designs and this is another design that screams boring, but these look very comfortable. Might try these when better colorways release.
I play on my toes so it's interesting hearing you discuss heel stability and comfort. Lol I know I use it for landing since I hurt my heels one time balling in running shoes, but still funny regardless.
Is the traction supposed to be a topographical map?
I really hope they come out with the Nike By You option quickly cuz this looks like a great shoe but the colorways are terrible. Why can't they just give us a regular black colorway, or a bred colorway?

9:00 the first shoe was lighter because the lace was touching the table making it not technically on the scale

My man doesn’t even know that the styrofoam insole is a better insole than the normal foam insole. The styrofoam insole will mould you your foot making it super comfy

It was originally supposed to be REACT and it was 100% going to be in fact that was going to be the main difference between the 14 & 15 same tech specs just React instead of Cushlon. At the last minute they seem to have diverted and changed it back to Cushlon which doesn’t make much sense to me because this now basically has the same exact tech specs as the 14s.. I don’t mind Cushlon at all I like it quite a bit but I LOVE React when it’s done right which they seem to have finally found the “right” React for Basketball the PG6 & Lebron 19 Lows are the most comfortable Nike shoes right now and I must say the React in those is vastly superior to the Cushlon even at its best in the KD14 & Lebron 18&19 highs. I’m guessing this might have to do with Lebron possibly after playing in the lows wanting React in his next upcoming model or them just having too much React products with the PGs & Lebron Lows that just came out? Whatever the reason I’m a bit bummed as I really see no reason to get this shoe other than Aesthetics as it is a 1-to-1 copy specs wise to the 14s full length Cushlon & Zoom strobal which I felt they did already perfectly in the 14s. Kind of a bummer if you ask me.
Well especially with the 14 being on sale for all color ways except the Ron English that’s coming out today, it would just make more sense to cop one or two pairs of the 14s than wait for the 15s and pay more for what appears to be equal value. Hopefully we see react though in the KD line especially since it’s a solid performer and just for the cost it would be nice to have that high quality and durable foam.
Dang well I'm gonna have to try the 19 lows then, the 18 mids are my favorite cushion setup right now.
@@NShomebase I ended up buying 3 pairs of the Lebron 18s & I don’t regret it at all they are super comfortable however the 19 lows are even more so. The PSI for the air max unit also seems to be lower allowing it to compress more easily. The React foam is very soft, gummy, marshmallowy & springy you feel it both in the forefoot and heel sitting atop the air max unit. Also the knit & synthetic leather toe cap feel softer than the 19 highs. The inner liner has the same silky material as the highs however the Achilles pillows have been beefed up significantly they are about 3x as large as the highs and feel incredible. If you love the 18 & 19 highs and enjoy them as much as I did and still do you will really enjoy the 19 Lows.
How does the Cushlon + zoom on the LeBron 18 compare vs the React on lows?
@@jjcornelio7741 The React on the Lebron lows is incredible, it’s very much like the PG 6 it feels more airy and gummy than the Cushlon which feels soft, but denser and heavier. They are both incredibly comfortable shoes the Air max unit in the back is the same as the highs but seems to compress a lot more easier than the highs of both the 18 & 19, they’re are a fun shoe to just walk around with overall I would characterize the lows as a lot lighter and squishier both in foam & the air max than the 18 & 19 highs. Also the Achilles pillows in the lows are noticeably thicker than the 19 highs & even a little more than the 18s (which are massive) and do an excellent job securing the heel and pushing the foot forward into the shoe. These are must haves imo 1 of my favorite shoes to wear 11/10 comfort.

I'm planning to buy a shoe. I'm choosing between Precision 5, Renew Elevate 2, or Flybymid 3. I just want to ask which is the best out of these 3 in overall performance and which is the best in terms of traction.

It will be out very soon in the EU. In Eastern Europe we have a basketball store franchise, Grosbasket, where the white colorway is already listed as coming soon.

Im 50/50 with the look of the shoe it does not stand out. It looks like a average running nike outlet shoe. In my opinion. But im sure it performs well like all the other kd's. Imma pass on these.
