The end of the Now and Then official video, has a special meaning to me. The Beatles bow, and then fading away. The Beatles sign behind them shutting down. To me it meant.... This is the end.
We will fade away, just like the movie "Coco". Unless, new generations of singers like MonaLisa keep The Beatles alive.
The guitar work is very Beatleseque. Nothing overdone, nothing flashy, just the exactly the right notes at exactly the right time.
I thought only the Beatles version of this song would make me cry.....

Since you released this song I have listened to many other performers repeat the song. There are some good renditions out there. I have to say they all come up short when compared to yours. Your performance reminds me so much of Phil Spector and his "Wall of Sound" productions back in the day. The vocals and background arrangements are so clear and impressive. I know Rudi had so much to do with it,. He is a wizard in the studio, but you both had to put so many hours into perfecting it. I used to have a small studio in the late '70's. My best sounded, at least 0.0001%, as good as you.🙂 I just can't get over the effect it has on me. Thank you.

No one covers the Beatles like my Mona Lisa Twins! I've been meaning to check out the club more since I'm back. I'm afraid I'm getting old. Lol when this came out I started to send it to people. It realty gives me their vibes from around 1969 when I would sit on my older sisters bed listening to the new Beatles album. Back then it was Abby Roads pretty sure. My sister bought Beatles since 1966. I bought the anthology albums in the 1980s. Lol This version gave me those vibes roo. Such a fine tribute. Loved it very much. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. My gosh that was gorgeous. The lushness of the layered vocals gives me chills. I had held off listening to the Beatles' version for fear it wouldn't live up to my hopes. Now it doesn't matter because Mona and Lisa have given me this. I guess the only question left is to find out how well the Beatles cover this beautiful MonaLisa Twins song.

Wow! Just wow! What a beautiful rendition of this poignant song. Your harmonies are stellar and I never cease to be amazed at the love you put into each song and video. I've been doing a lot of reminiscing since hearing the Beatles version last week. When I was in my teens, I woke up listening to WNEW-FM radio in NY every morning instead of an alarm. I'll never forget the morning that I woke up, not to music, but to the news that John Lennon had been assassinated. I was a huge Beatles fan and couldn't believe what I was hearing. There were rumors swirling around about a Beatles reunion and I was crushed that it would never be. The Beatles video for this song was haunting and emotional for me. Your interpretation of it is just lovely as you made it your own yet respect the original, and the visuals are fantastic! Bravo, ladies!

This is a mind-bendingly, physcodelic and kalidoscopic wonderful rendition of what is rapidly becoming another Beatles "classic". What I find so fascinating about this story is that you might have been forgiven for being out of touch with popular music by devoting so much of your time to older, classic pop and rock songs. But with "Now and Then" currently topping the singles charts in the UK (and I believe the Rolling Stones are topping the album charts) it just shows that you are right on the groove.
