One of my favorite places in the world is the rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula here in Washington State. It's filled with small moments of wonder and well and expansive wonders of towering trees. Thank you for sharing.

Hi, Kim. Keep going with the intimate stuff... You will get better and better as you imerse nature. Very inspiring work.
I love to walk around taking images like that. My 150-600 really opens up the world around me. Thanks for bringing us along!

Lovely image's of those little flower's.
Nice images as always. Thanks.
The images are absolutely stunning, esp the purple flowers.
Thank you
Superb video, Kim. A delightful mix of beautiful images, gentle music, and your inspirational connection with nature. Sometimes we can be a bit quick to head home when the weather turns, but perhaps we should embrace it and enlighten our senses and minds to its richness.
Lovely words Martin! It can be lovely to simply embrace it
So beautiful and peaceful and you can feel the calmness in places like this. Enjoy.
“Without photography, these images would not have been seen” Oh yes, I teach 1 day outdoor sessions for people in recovery, this has inspired me
Great shots Kim, your forest has so much moss on everything,it's amazing, thanks for starting my sunday morning.
Sitting watching this on a miserable wet Monday making me realise it's only my mindset stopping me going out looking for nature! A timely reminder. Beautiful images, particularly the flowers! Loved them ❤
So true May! ❤️
Kim, I'm a birder. And am only now learning about photography. When I go out in the field, most times I catch a glimpse of a bird and quickly raise my 500mm lens to get the shot. I come away from the field "thinking" I have seen the bird, but little do I know, I don't really see the bird until I look at the images I create. Who knew this little bird had a patch of yellow right by his eye? Or whiskers along his beak? We see things through photography that our split-second view of nature hardly ever captures. Thanks for this video!
Beautiful words June, and so lovely to witness this through your images. Thank you for sharing
I couldn't help but smile all the way through this video, especially once you could see the shift in connection taking place. It was noticeable!! Thank you Kim for sharing part 1 of your time in that woodland.
Thank you Denise! Delighted to read the building of connection was felt and noticed
Beautiful video Kim. Expressing your inner feelings and thoughts while inspiring all of us to get out there and have an experience!
Thank you 🙏
Love the sound of the rain on trees/leaves. Also love the sound of the rain on the canvas of a tent. Guess that's why I like waterfalls too. ::)). Lovely images Kim, especially those beautiful little flowers.
Thank you Susan! It certainly is a lovely sound
Thank you for sharing not only your photographic skills but your thoughts and feelings. One is as important as the other. No wonder your photographs say so much.

Truly wonderful series of photos, delightful, tranquil, and awe-inspiring. It is easy to tell you were quite in tune with your surroundings and really let the creativity flow.
Surely one of your best photography outings.

Herb Robert is the little purple flower at the beginning. I used to wonder what you were talking about with connecting with the subject etc.. yesterday I went out to photograph butterflies. I found myself just standing in the nettles watching them.. took some of my best butterfly image’s yesterday.
Wow Liam! That's so lovely to hear. Sounds like a great experience and delighted that the connection helped you create some of your best images 😊
Great

Hi Kim - I've been following you for a few years now and seen you grow as a photography as you move away from simply being the lighthouse photographer, to grow into an advocate of nature and appreciate all that is wonderful about it, showing us the importance of enjoying and embracing the journey of creating images - an aspect of life that I too am embracing - Thank You 😊
Stu
PS Can I ask please what the piece of music is you used in this video as it's beautiful!!
Thank you so much for your kind words Stu! Appreciate the continued support and kind words. Oh - I'll need to relook at the edit to find the name of the music. Will see if I can find the name for you
Beautiful.
These little cranesbills always were a favourite flower of mine! It's funny, over the last years my photography has become a bit more landscape-y, slightly less focussed on the details, you're now "coming from the other side".
AHH yes! And thanks for the name of the flowers Andreas
God’s creation is indeed something to be in wonder of.
Hi Kim, great inspirational video. Any chance of sharing the location?

Real bonny Kim
This looks just like North Carolina and Virginia where my Scots ancestors settled in the 1600s and 1700s. Morrison Clan. 😉
Looks like woodlands spirits to me... (7:04+)
