Bookshelf Tour + Turning Around My Unread Books!

- Hello, I'm alive! I figured it was about time to do an updated bookshelf tour. I also wanted to turn around all the books I haven't read yet, so sit back and relax as I go through my bookshelf again.

your shelves are so cozy, like a homey feeling :’) I have more book piles than books on shelves but I think I’m going to try turning everything around that I haven’t read, too!
Probably cuz I use them to store a bunch of random crap and my entire candle collection hahaha ooo I'd love to see it! I think book piles look cute too :)
i love the way your shelves look with the turned around books! i'm afraid to do that with my own. it's hard enough trying to get myself to pick up things i own and haven't read as it is. i feel like i'd just forget about them if i turned them around.
I think the point is to show you exactly how many unread books you have in order to motivate you to pick them up and flip them around haha I don't think it works for everyone though! I do find that I forget what the book is when it's turned around sometimes

Oh man, when I had a bookshelf I rarely wanted to dust the shelf because then I'd have to move all my knick-knacks. I love for things to be clean and tidy, but that was always one area I was just Lazy, haha.
I feel like I've seen three main ways people organize their TBR books. One method is yours, to turn it around, a second is to simply keep all unread books in the same area, or like how I've always done it: just keep them lumped with other like books whether I've read them or not. =3

Oh, I never dust my shelf hahaha. I mainly use it as storage space and forget to clean it :P
In the past I've organized all the TBR books to be on one shelf. I was never able to remember if I had read a book already or not (that was back before I used Goodreads). It's only recently I started mixing them in with my read books and I found I was forgetting about them because I couldn't see them. Hence the turning around thing.
You asked about that book when I mentioned it in my haul however long ago and I said I was going to read it in Nonfiction November and then proceeded to never do it hahaha I'll get to it at some point
@@cozyafternoons Ngl, when I used to have a bookshelf I would generally only dust it when I knew I needed to film or if it was truly bothering me to see all the dust. xD

That kinda happens to me. But I just end up noticing them more when they're turned around, so I can just pull them out quickly to see what they were lol
