I can hear the Background Battle's sound effects because I've done the fight about 16 times. I hear the laughs of Fawful's remains, the noises of the Special attacks, the damage counters, the attacks, ALL OF IT. It's terrifying.
This sound sooo much like the Kingdom Hearts instrument style, well... both the M&L RPG series and KH series share the same composer, I wouldn't be surprise if the official remake sound exactly like it.
I cannot wait to hear this song in the remake. I love what you have done staying faithful, but putting emphasis on Violins. Probably one of my favorite remixes of this song I have ever heard. This is an amazing blend of electricity and strings. I love the transition at 0:32. Most remixes seem to miss the feeling of that part.
This popped up in my suggestions, and I have to say......MY WORD, how I’ve missed Bowser’s Inside Story. The original piece was epic, dramatic, invigorating, but this puts a new twist on things......the violin adds more weight to it, making it feel sorrowful, almost a tad depressing, as if the song is accounting for all the struggles you had to reach this point, but you don’t even know if it’ll be enough. And still......you fight on, hoping for a moment after the fight, when the day is won, and victory is reached at the end of the long road. And still......you fight. As I’ve heard that a remake of the new remake is coming out, I’ve become giddy to listen to the remastered version of this grand finale. However, with this......I may not want to, or this is good enough.
Finally, someone not taking a remake and calling it a remix. This is (sadly) more of a remix than most "remixes", at least for video game music. Great job man

I often try to see how long I go listening to songs before I start getting chills. That violin at 0:52 is just unfair. Also props to the pitch shift in the third loop. I love this version! Even more so than the official remake's version!

It's finally time to defeat Dark Bowser and stop Fawful once and for all. But, Dark Bowser is invincible, and the only way to beat him is to remove the Dark Star Core from his body. The Bros. must defeat the Dark Star Core in a challenging (or not so challenging) battle, or all hope is lost. Once the Bros. are done, and Bowser delivers the final blow, it's over... Their journey has come to an end, but... Nobody forgot about the AMAZING remix playing during that battle. The Bros. even danced to it. Now, it's over, and that's sad... But who said Fawful wasn't lying and actually survived? (somehow) Anyways, great remix as always! I can tell that a lot of effort went into this one. If I'm remember correctly, you didn't do this alone. Great job to everyone who helped too! It's a great way to top off your playlist of remixed Bowser's Inside Story. Well, there's still a couple more tracks that are after this one, but still. I'm hoping the actual remix will live up to the original, like yours. Great job, and keep on making great content. Also, yes. I did make a nod to the "Fawful isn't dead" theories. Chances are, Nintendo won't bring him back, but they've changed. The problem with the theory is: During Superstar Saga, Fawful realized Cackletta was using him. It is implied in one version of Bowser's Inside Story that Fawful no longer likes Cackletta, as he calls her a hag. Also, there is a character in Drean Team that say "I have excitement!"
I believe only Fawful is alive, well out of the two. More villains could be alive. If you remember, the dark star split into smaller pieces before the fight with it inside Bowser. Now, how did Fawful die. By "exploding" into a bunch of smaller pieces! What if he was trying to conceal his death to plan a new attack. Other villains could come back too. There are more shroobs frozen in Bowser's castle, other then the 3 fought. Also if shroobs could be frozen and preserved, so could Midbus. Popple also is around, as shown in Dream Team. Fawful and some minor baddies could create an army to invade the world. Not just the mushroom kingdom, but the beanbean kingdom and all other places in the games. If Nintendo did this, this could be a really expansive game and, for sure, I'd buy it.

Holy crap dude! This is the best thing ever. You really did this song justice and the last bit is so perfect. It’s a feeling of that everything is on the line. A do or die moment against all odds and I love it. I remember getting to the final boss in the og game but little me couldn’t pull off the win. When it got remade it was a chance at redemption to complete the only game I ever left unfinished. That embodies how I felt getting back to this fight almost 10 years later. This song will always hold a special place in my childhood and you’ve perfected it.

You’ll be surprised how good my senses are. I listened to this at 10 out of 16 dots in volume, while wearing headphones, and the violin part made my ears ring. How low the limit for me to listen to without my ears ringing is surprisingly low. Me 3 years later: that was not meant to be a needless criticism (I LOVE THIS), but that was just pride. Plain and simple. Pride.
i now want to play BiS again.... i had it when i was really young but never beat it. i would usually play it on a wii u virtual console mod but BiS is one of the few games that don't work with the DS injector... and i don't think my raspberry pi will play it since it'll crash when it needs the microphone.... ugh, how can i play this game!
